What's this? Mahouka 2.0?
You missed the point completely. No surprise there

Is that this bunny time thing that people are taking about?
" I’m leaving you here to prevent others from trespassing. Don't let down your guard and stay alert. We shouldn't have made any mistakes, but this is enemy territory, so be vigilant."
"By your command."
"I will leave the periodic report to you."
Narberal let out a deep sigh after Ainz left the room.
She then massaged the corner of her eyes, her sharp eyes drooping down weakly, she looked exhausted. Even her pony tail looked flaccid and lifeless.
But she still remembered the orders of her esteemed master.
Narberal concentrated intensely, trying to learn more about the situation outside, but as a Magic Caster she lacked the craftiness of thieves. To make up for it, she used one of the skills she was proficient in.
"「Rabbit Ears」."
With the activation of the spell, a pair of cute rabbit ears sprouted from the top of Narberal's head. The ears trembled as they listened to the sounds around her.
This was one of the three rabbit spells, which were dubbed ‘rabbit magic’ by YGGDRASIL players. The others spells were called 「Rabbit’s Foot」, which increased the luck stat, and 「Rabbit Tail」, which slightly decreased enemy aggression towards the caster. The appearance of female characters would change if all three were activated at the same time, making this magic very popular. But since there was no need for the other two spells, Narberal didn't use them.
Most of Narberal's magic belonged to the combat variation, but this was one of the few exceptions.
After listening to her surroundings and making sure it was safe, she activated the 「Message」 spell. Immediately, a sweet, female voice could be heard in Narberal's head. It was as if her call had been expected.
"Narberal Gamma, you have something to report to me?"
"Yes, it's the periodic report."
Right now, Narberal was talking to the Overseer of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, Albedo.
After reporting everything, Narberal finally talked about things the other party wanted to hear.
"Ainz-sama mentioned Albedo-sama, saying that 'other than her, there was no one else he trusted this much'."
"Fuhu───!"
A weird scream of excitement ringed in Narberal's mind.
"Very good~ very good~ Narberal is a good girl! Carry on advertising for me like this! This is an order from the Nazarick's overseer!"
Question marks appeared on top of Narberal's head, who thought ''Is something like this worth issuing an order?''. Thinking about it calmly, this was a contest that would determine who would serve the Overlord. That way, an order like this was completely natural.
While Narberal was pondering this, Albedo’s excited voice could be heard again:
"With Shalltear out on a mission, I will use this chance to leisurely bridge the distance between me and Ainz-sama! It might be a difficult fort to conquer, but by attacking in waves it will eventually fall after taking a beachhead! When that glorious day comes, Shalltear will shed tears of regret!"
Albedo's gleeful shouting made Narberal frown. Even Narberal was getting annoyed listening to such agitated noises.
With a cheerful voice and skipping steps, Albedo droned on about what she planned to do next time and how things should be. She suddenly asked calmly:
"Why are all of you helping me? What is the reason you chose me over Shalltear? Is there something you want?"
"This is a simple question. If you ask me who is more suited to be seated next to Ainz-sama, Shalltear-sama or Albedo-sama, I will definitely answer Albedo-sama."
"Fuhu───! Fantastic. I didn't expect you to be someone who thinks about the future of Nazarick, impressive."
"And Yuri-nee is not good in dealing with Shalltear-sama."
"Oh, Yuri Alpha. I see... that’s true. Are the others on my team too?"
Not just vice-captain Yuri Alpha, the rest of her comrades popped into Narberal's mind as well:
"That’s uncertain. Lupus Raytina is on Albedo-sama's team, but Solution is on Shalltear's side. Insect Queen and Shizu are unknown, probably sitting on the fence."
"Is there any way to recruit Solution?"
"That would be very difficult, since her interests are similar to Shalltear-sama’s."
Mostly talking in this episode but some new characters were introduced and it looks like something big will be coming sooner or later based on that ending
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.
Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait.
MAL is literally just anime Twitter as its own website lol.

This should have been 24 episodes long instead of just 13! SAO got 25 first season straight away and only half of those were used for substantial plot. This needs two times more world building and gets half of the length.
Signature removed. It was too good for this cruel world.

I don't think they do. It is just that their world works that way all along.
When he was talking to Nabe in the Tavern he definitely said outloud - "If we use that(gold money), it's like publicly announcing we're from Yggdrasil. Even if there are other players here, they may not all be friendly."

They just think they got transported into another world from their original one which didn't feel like a game to them.

(Former) NPC know their world was "Yggrasil" and they are now in the different one than their original. They may not be fully or consciously aware it was a "game", I believe they think of it as their real/original world. I am not sure if Albedo used the world "game" herself though. If she did, she may still not fully aware of the game. She may be using the term just because Overlord used it. And who is going to argue? If Overlord says black is write, then black is white, so if he calls the Ygrassil a game, then it is a game.

interesting episode, the new characters are so cool and this is going in a good direction even tho there wasn't much action but the episode is soo good
This was a pretty bad episode. Especially compared to the previous ones. The worst part were humans mainly spouting expositions instead of talking. I also feel like they skipped some important parts since Momonaga's subjects were suddenly talking about Yggdrasil players and he himself told Albedo about "editing her settings". It's a pretty huge jump from "demon overlord arriving in a new world" to "looking for other players with NPCs".

So, plot = boring to most people. Why am I not surprised?
Very good episode, everything was moving properly, there were well placed bits of humor to move things along as well, I am looking forward to the moment when the three main characters introduced this episode (two at the end and the magic user), all of whom think they are such a big deal and are trying to manipulate the MC, figure out just how small they truly are.
Nice scenes: MC not knowing how powerful his potions are; MC reaction when he realizes just how much his followers hate humans. The Theocracy losing another power item (that's got to hurt).
Negative: I know I am alone on this, but less Albedo gushing would be welcomed. She can be as obsessed without the antics. Thats the only thing I think disrupts the positive flow this show has.

It's pretty apparent (for me atleast and some others) that Madhouse fucked up the adaption really bad. Sure they are trying but I just can't take that animation style seriously. The anime can't convert the feel of the novel with 13 episodes. It was probably impossible from the start.
Another excellent world-building episode. I loved how Momonga manages to eloquently manipulate the conversation to head exactly where he wants it to go, those are some excellent peopled skills right there.
Essentially he took Nabe out to explore the new world, which I would consider a good thing, seeing as most of his subjects would rather rip the heads off humans than negotiate with them. If he weren't there, they'd cause chaos amongst the humans. It was interesting that his format of gaining information was to join the Guild, since it allows them access to the new worlds currency, whilst meeting their first objective as well.

I totally forgot about that part. Man it was a good moment. That part is in the LN, but i guess they decided not to add it...what a shame
I'm hoping that they manage to sneak it into the next episode somewhere. I'll be somewhat pissed if they don't include the Dakimakura scene. That was pure comedy.
Even though not much happened, great episode. Really loving this show with each episode that pass by. I'm really diggin' Momonga's armor and his character so far. Also, liking Nabe. Looking forward to next episode.
As a light novel reader, the only good thing about this anime is the faithfulness of the adaption. The execution of the plot is subpar, and I don't have anything else to say about the animations. We got blocky CG flying sticks instead of archangels. Now in the latest episode, the psychotic Clementine was replaced by the female version of the Grinch. Quite honestly, the only to look forward to is the progression of the plot, which I hope doesn't adapt far.
