Hi thank you for accepting my friend request i saw that you also like HxH and YYH and you also like kurama nd killua so i though that i should add you since you are a fellow fan xD
But you have it on your Plan to Watch list? o.o
Personally, I enjoyed it quite a lot. The battles and soundtracks were amazing!
And the animation, despite the unusual art style, was very impressive.
I saw your comment on ONE's page: "And now your shit anime Mob ended."
Lol, have you even seen it? It's great. And this is coming from a fellow HxH fan.
Don't let the unusual art style fool you.
I actually haven't checked out Level E' in manga form. I'm pretty sure it's the only series Togashi did that I haven't seen in it's original form. I need to get around to that, from what I recall the manga had an extra chapter that the anime didn't include. I definitely think Togashi has some great art. He's not the best but I love how expressive his work is, especially in Hunter x Hunter.
I've seen a little of the 99 version. I made it about 10 episodes in before I tapped out. It's interesting to see all the differences from both the source & the 11 remake but the slow pacing & the filler material not being very good made me put it on-hold. I definitely plan on getting back into of course. There were some pretty good moments in the 99 version (the scene where the captain sees Ging in Gon is easily the best version of that scene & Hisoka during the second phase, where he takes the walk to the river after seeing his idea failed) and the series hasn't even reached the third phase of the exam at that point. I certainly wasn't in love with HxH in the '11 anime at this point in the story. It'll probably be awhile before I continue it, I'm mainly looking forward to seeing how the series tackles Yorknew.
Also, it sucks that the version that has Kite at the beginning doesn't actually get the payoff in Chimera Ant. I'm still bitter that Madhouse skipped Kite at the beginning.
Hey! I'll probably end up accepting your friend request, I just prefer to talk first. You've definitely got some great taste, aside from the obvious, Monster, Mushishi & Trigun are all among my favorites too (though Trigun's not in my top ten anymore, it's still number 11). Saw you recently finished Level E, one of the funniest anime out there, definitely the smartest comedy I've encountered in the medium (with most of the best jokes being really clever plot twists). I think it's actually my second favorite work from Togashi.
I thought you haven't because it's not on your list.
it's truly amazing, I can say it's my favorite thing about Hunter x Hunter.
I couldn't help but notice that YuYu Hakusho is in your favorites. I am currently finishing it (4 episodes left). it's one of the best shounen's I have watched but can't help but feel a little disappointed by the way it's ending.
