Its been one hell of a ride trigger, was Not sure if this was going to pull off in the beginning but it sure is excellent now! |

The ending was either a mimic of Gurren Lagann or something suspiciously similar in regard. Perhaps part of Imaishi and company's 'style' to make things over the top. I said it didn't deserve it because it doesn't feel like anything was accomplished with struggle. Again, you fail in KLK nothing really bad happens. @ Strike Freedom, low risk situations, adding explosions, and lots of yelling doesn't get me hyped...here in KLK it's empty because it's doing it to look 'cool'. It's like a Dane Cook performance, just because you animate your performance a bit, doesn't mean it's funny. |

| Kill La Kill has done it again OMFG YES!!!!!!!! Damn when Ryuuko got cut in half, that was intense, glad they don't censor the gore in this show. When the epic music played when Satsuki and Ryuuko are transforming, SO FREAKING EPIC :O . I really don't want this show to end, we have one more episode and its done. |

| I actually winced when Nui's face suddenly appeared in the ED song. I was NOT expecting that. I don't really care for Ragyou, but I would feel a bit bad if Nui dies in the next episode. |

| Based trigger. I didn't think Ryuuko's deux ex machina-like way of surviving was needed, made it feel... uhm... unrealistic? Yeah I know its not the word but my point gets across. |

| Wow. I haven't grinned and felt so hyped for an anime since... well, I've never felt so hyped for an anime before now! (Not even AoT.) So much cool stuff went down this episode, and I love Mako's hamster wheel bit, followed by all the former enemies backing her up. I didn't expect her to get her uniform back, but I'm glad she did! Same with the E4! I was sort of getting tired of them standing around as Nudists. But how/why did Sanageyama's eyes come back? Were they actually removed or sealed shut before? I think I missed something. I had the ED playing in the background, jamming out, when all of a sudden I'm hearing Nui interrupt the song! I'm glad I didn't exit out of the episode. :o |

| Nonon's new uniform Oh my god And the fucking TTGL-ness of this episode was nuts. So much hype. I like how Trigger started calling themselves out to make a fucking awesome last episode. So damn hyped for the finale. The ending is fucking important and it looks like Trigger knows that, so I have faith it'll be something good. |

| The episode was good, but I feel like we should have seen more animation like when the Naked Sun's thrusters boosted it out of the water. I feel like we've been promised at least that considering how much corner-cutting we've seen up until now. In terms of what happened, it feels appropriately epic, but I can't help but feel like something was missing. KLK is on its way to a solid 8 score from me. Add +1 if you want to count their execution on the theme, as well as their heart shown in the show as a whole. Mainly because I understand that they are very financially restricted at the moment, and I feel they did the best with what they had. |

When I saw that it seemed longer than it should be, I was like: "hmmm... better keep watching" |

| Great episode. Not much else to say really. The highlight for me was probably when Mako was giving her speech while powering up the ship...sword...thing.... In any case, this episode aside, this series has been great, and has been the most entertaining anime of its kind that I have seen in a long time. Whenever the blu ray(s) gets released outside of Japan I'll definitely be picking them up. |

| I don't understand what people are so excited about in this episode... -_- I mean it had it's good parts but overall it was quite underwhelming considering all the hype and especially the amazing episode that preceded it. Mako's Silly-assery always destroying momentum for any tension to build up and generally speaking i didn't feel like they really struggled to accomplish what they did, not as much as i was expecting at least. |

However, if you'd like to include a bonus point for how they accomplished something this good as their first, self-funded, original animation TV series, it gets a bit of a boost. Overall, I personally give KILL la KILL an overall score of 8.5 - It's bold, its art is imaginative and detailed, the effects used are incredibly well used & stylistic, and it boasts an impressively diverse cast of characters who are all love-able to some degree. KILL la KILL's main flaws are its animation, some of the re-used gags, and slight holes in the writing, where things could have been better explained.* I'd definitely say that Little Witch Academia is the better quality TRIGGER production, though I openly admit it's not as risky as something like KILL la KILL which had its fair share of controversy. Regardless, I can't wait until they release LWA 2, as well as hopefully continue that series through more OVA/Mini-Movie type episodes. *None, if any, of the plot holes are so bad that the story could no longer have happened as it did. Everything could have fit together almost the exact same way if some developments had been explained differently, or altered just slightly. (Examples: How the blades work // The timeline for Souichirou's Escape) This does NOT excuse these faults though, as they were written in, and do take away from the enjoyment if noticed. |
