This thread was hiliarious
"In addition to what everyone else said, I fail to see what's wrong with being perverted."
I used to always get you and MAL user "Moog" mixed up for some reason, lol. I think Moog is the one who was bi.
Ear piercings at the earlobes are fine.
Due to my permanent chronic pain, I can never work or drive a car, so I'm not going to move anywhere. Also, I need to stay in the large apartment where I am, because I have too many belonging, and they wouldn't fit in a small place.
Manly men in my opinion, are the dumb tradespeople, who wear baseball caps, are interested in cars, sports and drive through trails on ATVs. Almost everyone in my area are like this, and it sucks.
I'm bisexual, but I hate manly men with facial hair, body hair, and those who shave the sides of their head. I also hate tattoos, body piercings and people who spend all day on their cellphones.
Gym membership here is now $60 a month, and I can't afford that, not to mention that my chronic pain would prevent me from being able to make use of any of the equipment there.
Like most Canadians born after 1982, I don't believe in any of that religious stuff, so churches are out of the question, not to mention that you wouldn't find someone under 80 in a church here anyway.
The library is also always vacant, as nobody goes to libraries anymore. Once a month, I go to the local library, because sometimes they sell off some of the books they have, and every time I go there, I'm the only person there.
I apologize if all that sounds pessimistic, but it's really hard to make friends with someone here who isn't a senior citizen, because there are a lot of old people, and a lot of dumb, blue-collar tradespeople, whom I would rather avoid, as I hate manly men.
I'm paying around the equivalent of $600 USD a month for a 3-bedroom apartment, which is really nice, but keep in mind that I live in a town of less than 7000 people, so that's why the rent here is more affordable.
When I ask people how to socialize and meet people, others in my area keep telling me to "go to a bar," but I don't drink alcohol, so I'm not sure what to do.
Back in December 2018, I finally moved out of my parents' house, and I now live on my own. I love having independence. I'm still rather introverted, although I'd like to make more friends, but I don't know how to. I don't mind talking to older people, but young people scare the shit out of me, and I usually avoid them.
How are things?
