| it's strange that there is so much rage when an adaption does not include parts of the original. But even if they try to include most things(havent read nisemonogatari except from this part so not really sure)the fans(or some of them)still arent happy enough.... and about the incest thing.I'm 23 ,my sister 19.we share the same room.I was never aroused by her or felt any lust.On the other hand I dont hate incest stories as long as they stay in 2D.stop mixing those two. Yeah wtf is with Araragi openly saying Tsubasa is the hottest girl in the world instead of his girlfriend. I agree that Tsubasa is waaay sexier than Hitagi (especially in cat form) but its kinda sad that he said it. I personally like Tsubasa better as a character and her arc in Bakemonogatari waaaaay better than Hitagi's arc. TL;DR Tsubasa is better than Hitagi and would own her in her cat mode. hmmmmmm idk. Araragi and Hitagi have their moments together like in Episode 3,6 and 7. "Sometimes, I don't know why I'm dating you. But I love you so much that I don't need a reason" A truly great line that killed me. But I hate how Hitagi clearly stated in episode 7 that she would of fell in love with anyone (no matter what kind of person they are) if they saved her. It gives me the impression that their love isn't actual and is only based on that one act of kindness. Still, I'm glad Araragi is the one that saved her. Although he's not the most loyal of boyfriends the two of them seem to have some natural chemistry together that makes me smile. Sooooo AraragixHitagi fan here :) He isn't exactly NOT LOYAL. Sure there are questionable things he does but it isn't like it is completely serious and in the end he will always choose hitagi. And it would make sense that hitagi would say something along the lines of whoever saved her she would fall in love with. it was kind of a big deal to her. but chances are had it been someone else she wouldn't have stayed with them, as she said, she was glad it was him that it happened to be. He could at least put some distance between him and all the other girls that want him. It seems as if out off all the girls he spends the least time with Hitagi. He says he loves Hitagi but still says things about Hanekawa that makes you think that he truly likes her. Idk it's just kinda confusing. |

| My reaction: Oh yes...yes...YES!!...YESSSSS!!!!....No. Absolutely in awe. Having one's own genius backfire on you is quire irritating, even if you were saved last minute. Being incestuous is just a lose lose situation for the viewers and the characters. Despite that, it makes me wonder how much fake ecchi is out there when Nise is right here doing it x10 better then 90% of what I've seen o______________0 Absolutely in awe. FYI - Just me nitpicking but was Karen always as tall as Araragi? |
| I... can't rate this. I mean, this isn't really implied incest... it's actual incest... I watched the episode with the knowledge that I'd recommended Bake to a friend, and also Nise, and couldn't help wondering whether I'd recommend this now or not. The short answer is "skip this episode". I'm pretty open-minded, but come on man. That's your sister. It's got to cross your mind at some point or another that what you're doing is... odd? |

| @ Inkwave yes it is but wait till its over ppl on MAL won't read your review if the series is still ongoing(except those that already read your bakemonogatari review and know you :D) good episode overall.but could be better...also about the bro-sis thing ppl might say its ok and good becuz they think they are open-minded but imo being too open-minded won't do you any good ;) in other words i am not saying there is anything wrong with what Araragi is doing but there is nothing right with it as well(although it is a different matter if they are not real siblings and haven't think of each other as siblings from the beginning) |
