sooo much blood everywhere O_____O

and yeah people got drag into sunlight burning wow.

so that's how Sunako survive all those years.

it's because she is a "jinrou" that she can eat normal food like humans do(shiki only drinks liquid and blood)

i do admire Ritsuko's resistance, tohru is pathetic and should never allow himself with Ritsuko.

the lady got free, but please don't even fanservice us with that :P

hearing Ritsuko's voice crying i knew she is phyrra from Soul Calibur V

Ozaki's mother dead, OOkawa killing his own son in front of everyone freaking gutsy.

Seishirou almost killed everyone if not for Yuuki's intervention.

waa another suckage for Tatsumi!!!

i always wonder why Muroi sensei went with the shiki??

i think he understands it in their perspective since he's novelist.

Sunako with those powerful words and crying :(

i mean in reality it is true, we kill to survive, the only difference between shiki is that they kill humans instead of animals.

if your a shiki and still wants to leave, isn't it normal to kill in order to survive??

that's the point of survival right??

but if they did turned the village into a shiki paradise, how will they survive??

will they kidnapped more city people and feed them there???

the only disappointing thing about this show is how the hell did the shiki's got demolished?!?!?!

i mean tatsumi said hey have twice the power and doesn't get hurt at night, why the hell did they reduced in just one night.

it doesn't make any sense, they can also ambush them and plan their attacks.

they can also hide in the mountains instead of the village so wtf?!?!?!

amazing show as always, love the art and music.

only 2 episodes to go, im thinking they should have made this a 26 episodes.

2 episodes won't solve all of this :P

Loved the liquor store old mallet guy, one of the few characters with clear thinking and resolve that knows what has to be done with no hesitation but man shit i was scared he wouldve got shot by the sniper or the man at the end.But he had a downside at the end killing the man not heeding the docs word if he was hypnotized or not, though that just shows his resolve into solving the village crisis and the man would've turned anyway so new fav char goes to the liquor store owner cuz he knows that shit has to be done and to put da work in fo dat.Stone cold killa he is plus luvd what hapnd to the vamps in this ep, all those eps that ihad to painfuly watch becuz chars were stupid in decisions(natsuo leavin a vamp half buried where he could buried him under hundreds of pounds of dirt n tell villagers in the moring but i guess it wouldnt matter since the blue wolf was on the prowl).O yea one other ting FK sunako and the priest, idiot doesn't care or think that the wolf is needing his blood to regain his powers for malicious acts pshh next ep plz die both of you with the wolf too.poor green hair nurse =( one of the tiny few shiki i sympathize with. Also i kept thinking wow really you would go outta you way to jus say "i cant do it!I cant kill someone" out loud during the revelation that shikis are real during the festival, then as a result bring a group of able-bodied combat usable vaginas with them to run away. Keep that to yourself pussy and runaway without making a scene... idk if that was this ep or last

Ritsuko has some balls. Did they die at the end from the sunlight?! D:

Someone needs to calm that beard guy down. .___. He's taking it way too far.
And the hell is Natsuno doing during all this?! He needs to step in man. I can't believe how crazy everything is now. Everyone in the village is covered in blood.

In the end, shiki simply portray man's selfish and gluttonous nature. Just think about it. We've started wars for matters of greed and power, and even kill each-other for petty reasons. At least the shiki have to do this for their own salvation. That's why I have to praise Ritsuko for her bravery and selflessness. She is the finest example of a kind human heart.

That being said, I hope humans win this in the end. No matter how you look at it, shiki are perversities that have to be erased from the face of the earth. They were simply unlucky to become what they are.

The Tohru Ritsuko scene was absolutely beautiful. Ritsuko completely disproves loli girls argument of "I just wanted to survive" with her brave acceptance of the death that is come to her.

The mob is starting to lose it too.

Wow, Sunako...you've lived like...what was it? 200, 300 years? Stop whining, it's seriously time for you to step off the stage.

Seishin's only chance to get some redemption from me: kill Sunako. Do it. Be a man. Then you can die a better man than you are now.

Ditto. Justify eating people all you want but don't expect your prey to go down without a fight. On that note, I think the mob has reached the bat shit crazy stage, and Toshi's realized he's just created the real monster.

I really don't get how people can sympathize with the shiki. And I really don't see the humans going overboard with the killings and all. Every kill on the shiki or even fellow humans have been justified. The ones that are killed have killed humans before, so I don't see anything wrong with that.

Get your head straight people, just because the shiki shows some emotion of fear or regret doesn't justify the many they've killed. And that Sunako, acting cute and all that, makes me want to kill her a million times more than the amount of death she already deserves.

I might feel sorry for Sunako if what she said wasn't just a bunch of bullshit but it was. Sure, she wants to live and needs to feed in order to do so. That doesn't mean she even needs to kill in order to do it, though. Big distinction there. There is a big difference in how a humans and Shiki eat. We kill animals because we can't eat part of an animal. Well we can but it would be cruel. Shiki on the other hand only kill a human after feeding on them 3-4 times. Solution? Don't feed on any human more then once, problem solved.

Shiki might be justified in eating in order to survive. What they aren't justified in doing is killing people in the process and increasing their numbers. Just makes things worse.

Yup, I see how everyone feels bad for Sunako, and I do too (just a little), but seriously it's not necessary that they kill the humans. I mean even Natsuno had the same idea back when he met shiki Tohru, and he told Tohru that they should run away together. Unless there's a reason why they have to kill the humans because they have to feed on the same person more than once, then maybe she has my sympathy. But in her backstory, she said that her parents sent her a new maid every night...meaning she killed a person every night. How the heck did she drink that much blood each night, when they said that it normally takes 3 or 4 days of drinking people's blood to finish the person off? Yes she wants to live, but she didn't have to destroy a whole village to do so. But what is sad is that she just wanted to have a village of shiki so that she could go out and have fun like normal people, and it's too bad that she's lost that since she died at such a young age. But in the end, that's selfish. She needs to learn from Ritsuko. Ritsuko is amazing for being able to stand the painful hunger, she's pretty much a saint. I'm glad she made Tohru give up, because they're both kindhearted people ;_;

Anyways, this episode was really disturbing...especially the parts where we see the shiki vaporizing/burning from the sun. Made me feel nauseous. And all that blood. Ookawa (?) is really...hotblooded. I can't believe he went and killed a hypnotized human when the person could've been saved. It feels like the people in this episode were more like monsters than the shiki.

Dam clever vampires, I don't see how the fella doesn't understand that these people are under hypnosis. It's not like they're doing it out of their on free will : / Also feel no sympathy for these vampires except Ritsuko since she's actually against feeding. Still don't get why they can't just freaking feed on different people each time or even better just drink freaking blood packs.....

Toshio has lost control of his fighters. There all good for the asylum after the slaughter. I hope for a nice boat.

Rit-chan... :(
She died in peace, with no remorse. That's the best thing that could have happened.

It's crazy how the resistance is brutal. It's like the roles have reversed : the shiki that looked like monster look so weak and the humans now looks like monsters.

Sunako plea to live was heartbreaking. Especially when she said that she never asked for this.

Dude, that's gotta suck having your eyes burned out by the sun. What a rude awakening for that guy. And that was all just crazy, dude! Blood everywhere, dragging out the Shiki from their hiding places... it just reminded me of exterminators removing vermin from a house.

Atsushi's dad is like a greek god the way he's swinging around that hammer of his and passing judgment. Loved the part where he killed his own kid.

Ritsuko's still not drinking blood, and she even managed to get Tohru to let that woman go. She seriously deserves some respect for what she's going through. I wonder how their deaths will come about? Those two shiki I'm definitely going to feel sorry for.

And then we have Sunako, who just comes up with every justification and excuse in the world. I can't wait for her and Seishin to die. Seishin's even worse than Sunako.

The look on Toshio's face at the end there kind of read, "Oh crap, I've desensitized the entire village now." They go from one extreme to the other. First they don't want to believe the shiki exist, and now they're out in mobs looking for blood. Still, you can't really blame them.

Every episode just keeps getting better.

Agreed. Also, I get that the Shiki want to justify their reasons for killing humans as them feeding and trying to survive. However,I don't agree with this due to society being more advanced now you have things called blood banks. Why don't they go rob a blood bank or something lol.And if it is that they're trying to survive especially in a society with humans, they could have tried to incorporate different methods in their feeding.I mean humans aren't the only creatures who are a source of blood.Look at those lovely livestock of pigs, goats.sheep that exist.Like seriously, can't they go suck a cow or something?

It's really interesting to see the dynamics between the characters. We see how Ricchan decides to stick to her morals. And I like how she said that if she fed on a human, she would "hate herself" instead of thinking that she would "be a murderer". There's also a lot of moral conflict going on. This series definitely has a lot more substance than I thought it would. As for Sunako justifying her actions, people in the thread are bringing up legible points on how the shiki don't necessarily need to kill.

Sunako's moment was sad... But I still couldn't give two shits about her. I don't know if her character design is just something that doesn't sit well with me or what, but I simply don't have an ounce of sympathy in me towards Sunako. Sorry.

I want to see more of Kaori. She became one of my favorites in the recent episodes :>

What the heck guys? How can you even think of siding with Shiki or any moral dillema when it was so poorly presented? It's like you are justifying a murderer who robbed and killed a person and said: "It's not my fault. I didn't have a choice because I wanted his money." That's what you are saying.

I think you guys are forgetting that the shiki are technically deceased already. They have no pulse and they don't breath either. I felt sad for the shiki because of the way they were being hunted but in all reality it was necessary for them to properly move on to the after life. The events of the shiki hunt did prove how man-kind reacts when there livelihood is at stake and how maniacal people can get when they are desperate to survive. (Like when they ran up in the temple and killed seshin mother) This is prevalent for both the shiki and humans. In conclusion, both parties were at fault at different points in the series.

I've really tried feeling something for Sunako but no nothing, she ain't getting no symphaty from me. The shiki would have to kill every human eventually and then what ? They would die too, no matter how much they wanted to survive they would just die and then have taken humanity down with them. There is nothing to justify that. I'm with Ricchan all the way, I would hate myself too much to ever kill someone, I would really rather die myself. You don't deserve a life if you've taken someone elses.

Sunako's monologue had me on the verge of tears. Shiki has done a really good job of switching the roles by turning Sunako into an anti-villain and Ozaki into an anti-hero.

In the end, will either side truly win? This is a lose-lose situation. The humans are exactly the same as the Shiki. They killed on massive scales. Why? Because they wanted to survive.

Sums up my thoughts pretty well. This is just getting increasingly brutal; several times in this episode I found myself cringing. Poor Sunako certainly has my pity...

It seems clear the humans will emerge victorious in this war, but at what cost?

Both humans and Shiki are justified to kill for survival. No one wants to die, whether you're a human or a Shiki. Shiki needs to go though since their only food source is human blood and they will only grow in numbers with no natural deaths. They'll die anyways when humans go extinct.

If you can't justify Shiki hunting humans, then I can't justify humans eating animals.
