The pandemic has gotten me back on MAL. I really appreciate these replies, even if it takes years to exchange. Sharing life across the world that is otherwise impossible a few decades ago.
You hit so many milestones! Almost PhD, lawyering, and marriage. I myself is moving in with my SO at the end of the month so getting close to marriage, but not quite there yet. I'm guessing the next milestone is having kid(s)?
Look at us, two people changing the world. MAL always surprise me in how many like-minded people I've come to known living our distinct and unique lives. That's good you're happy. I am happy as well. There are always areas for improvement, but being in a state of happiness is a great thing.
I see you are watching Guilty Crown, I expected you to have finished it by now.
Really, to me the first episode didn't leave a good impression at all, just average at best...
Oh my god, I keep dropping the ball on replying back XD
6 years ago, wow. Yeah, I've been an OT in the last 3 years. Been enjoying it overall. I guess you can say I've found the "calling" of what I'm meant to do. What about you (job/location-wise)? What happened in the last 6 years?! You're like my long lost pen pal over the ocean!
The pandemic largely didn't affect me too much. It was nice to get some government money when I wasn't working but I'm back now working full time-ish.
Lol, you might not remember me, but we had some brief profile comment exchanges in 2012 and I'm JUST looking at it now and realized I never replied to such a well-thought of post of yours. Heh, I dunno if this will ever get read!
Here was our exchange: http://myanimelist.net/comtocom.php?id1=67115&id2=29726
I feel like I might rewatch Honey and clover again, though just thinking of certain sad bits would make me cry like a baby. And I think I'm kind of too sensitive to drama in fictional settings.
Golden Boy was great, lol. And yeah, there were some valuable lessons here and there. He was a cool guy. The bike race was RIDICULOUS. To this day I'm amazed of the race and will likely show it to anyone else again. One of my top 10 comedic moments.
I see honey and clover and baccano still on your top 5, good stuff. Still 80% comp. :D
I'm guessing you've moved on from anime?
Was läuft bei dir so?
Not a problem at all. I interspace my replies quite often too....lazyiness / forgettyness and all. Actually funny you bring that up. I'm moving to Calgary now on in May. Just need to now save every penny. Going to be movng in with my best friend.
I haven't really been watching anything lately again.
Just Pokemon occasionally. I WILL watch all 800 episodes. I will.
And Azumanga Daioh with my little ten year old sister. She's been enjoying it a lot.
It's alright, like you, I've been busy in real life myself so I understand, but it's better late than never, right? I'm glad you're doing fine, I am too. I've also decided to start anew and as you can see I've deleted all my blogs and I've also decided to tone down on my swearing since I know people will definitely get the wrong impression of me if they hadn't known me, hehehehe ^^;;
And no, it was iM@S back then. I updated just recently :)

My interest in this site is completely gone these days, I just use it to track what I've watched and then go somewhere else these days.
Ah well, times change.
Happy Birthday.

It's slowly getting there. I wish it was more hours though. I'm a quarter of the way to having enough money to move though. Thats nice.
It's really worth it. Really. -pushes it more-
