| Holy fucking shit this episode was AWESOME. I just love Koyasu's over the top performance as Dio. The guy is having the time of his life voicing him. my only complaint is how they made it seem like Dio can fly(???). What's up with that? Also the change with Kakyoin's death blow: in the manga they immediately showed the version of the scene with the stopped time. Initially my thoughts were "they changed it and that sucks 'cause change is bad" but after thinking about it for only a little I realized just what a great idea it was to show that scene from the perspective if Kakyoin and Joseph first. Really brings out their sense of confusion to the viewer. Well done. |

| A fucking FANTASTIC episode! God, JoJo just keeps on getting better as we near the end of the season. I did shed a tear when Kakyoin died. He was a great guy and seeing him die was really sad. I'm guessing Joseph died too. Can't wait till Jotaro ora oras the fuck outta Dio! |

| I know that my man Kakyoin will die once they told us some back story of him, but i can't help but feel really sad when he did die in the hand of dio.. he's one of my favorite crusaders after all.. But at least his die isn't in vain and he even capable to understand the ability of The World and just like i thought it's a time manipulation technique, the ability to stop the time to be exact.. Afterward we saw Joseph fought against Dio and while he still has his hamon, it's practically useless now.. In the end he also fall in the hand of Dio, but at least the narrator still haven't said anything that he is died like they did to Kakyoin so i guess there's still hope to found that Joseph hasn't died yet.. In the end Jotaro finally meet Dio and Ora Ora Ora vs Muda Muda Muda definitely the best part of this episode.. They said that both of their stand is very similar, with close range combat and great physical attack.. Now i'm wondering, what if Star Platinum still have one last secret ability and that's ability to counter time stopping.. I guess it could be the key to beat dio if he does have a secret ability since i can't think any way for jotaro to beat dio at his current state.. Overall, yet another excellent episode.. the best episode in the series so far.. While i'm sad with kakyoin's death, i like how JJBA does it's final battle with several deaths of relevant main characters which is extremely rare in battle shonen as far as i know.. Rest in peace Iggy , You always have shown pride and selfishness but when in need you too have shown not only once but twice , and you valued your friends lives above you Also rest in peace Joseph , my actual real gateway to Jojo you will always be missed , As I miss you , I still have a lot of memories with you and I will keep checking them again and again. Edit : What I wrote just now made me cry even more. The photo just makes me so sad , Looking back at them having their happy bizarre times. The 2ho wiki says Sakuya's first appearance was in Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, which came out in 2002. Jojo came 10 years before. Sakuya is a very obvious (to Japanese people) reference to Dio. |

Whether it works as a radius away from Dio or a length of time since he touched it is not really made clear. It even works on things with simple moving parts too (eg: if Dio had a revolver, he could fire it in paused time and the bullets would freeze after they left the gun's barrel). |

| Best episode of Part 3 so far and one of the best of the JoJo franchise. Damn it was hectic. The OST was amazing and the action was awesome. Dio constantly showing why he's one of the best antagonists. ZA WARUDO! Can't wait to see more of MUDA MUDA MUDA vs ORA ORA ORA ORA next week. |

I know it's the most nitpicky thing, but still. This kind of thing happens all the time though. Part 2 had Joseph's "1 minute of blood" that lasted half the episode. There was also the scene with Cars and Joseph falling down the cliff, when the narrator said "5 seconds until they reach the bottom", which lasted a few minutes as well. More recently, during the D'Arby the Gamer race, there was "2 seconds until they reach the tunnel", during which D'Arby had enough time to practically recite a speech. It's just one of those things that doesn't translate well into anime at times. In the manga, the flow of time is subjective because the reader controls how fast they go through the story. In the anime, however, you have a discrete time duration for everything. Often anime directors can bypass this or hide it with clever tricks, but you can't do that with Jojo because of how monologue-heavy it is. All that dialogue needs to be said in a ridiculously short amount of time, so David Pro just animates it as is. |

I wouldn't say nothing happened but I mean I wouldn't say it's very different at all from the "a wild pokemon appears!" formula prevalent throughout most of SC. |
