What a cliffhanger... wtf.

After such a sad episode you can't do that -.- As if such an end on its own wouldn't be bad enough.

poor leánnan sídhe having to deal with that (even though it was just a matter of time) and instead of getting just that in this episode they have to ruin in and show Chise coughing up blood.

Like just let people enjoy that touching story and show the new "sub-plot" in the next episode. It's not like people could do anything with these 5 seconds anyway.

I really hate that it's such a common practice nowadays. It doesn't even make sense anymore. People are not going to stop watching because an episode ended with a concise end. Actually I get the feeling more people stop to watch because of too many cliffhangers nowadays.

That was quite the sad episode, more of a bittersweet episode actually! Quite liked it but it sure was touching! Looking forwards to see what's next, especially with such an ending :o

lol..... the Chise kitsune part was so short lived. I kind of wish she didn't remember Elias for a bit just so that he could chase her and try to win her back ;/ A little disappointed with that, but it's okay I guess, hah.

Star-crossed lover stories never fail to tug at my heart strings TT_______TT
But ZAYUM, Joel. Youse a playuhhhhhh lmfao. Having 2 wives waiting for you in the afterlife hahahah. I bet his other wife is hot too. You sly lucky dog, Joel XD

I'm glad he passed peacefully :') Redccurrant is sososo sweet and loyal ;A;

POOR CHISE THOUGH D; Please be okay. Elias specifically said not to overdo yourself v__v

Sad story, bro. :'(

What the fuck is that ending?? more than likely a tease that leads to nothing just like the last cliffhanger.

Between Chise turning into a fox and my favorite succubus returning, this was a great episode.

An alternate reality where Chise gives into her animal instincts would be an interesting spinoff.

Man, Joel really must've been dying. In front of an attractive barely-dressed woman who would've done anything for him and all he does is grab her hand. She should've gave him some Viagra.

Another great episode, RIP Joel!

Oberon seems pissed behind that facade though! Hope Chise is okay!

The second part is very poignant, where one sees the vampire who is not set aside as one could hypothesize after not having seen her again for some episode. The first part was intriguing, pity it lasts so little, the character of Hai no Me, is very interesting, I hope to see him again soon. Cliffhanger again, wow!

Apparently being a fox is not that great after all, who would've thought. Chise is in trouble now, though who decided on this taboo?

The song when Joel left was heartbreaking. This anime really has one of the best soundtracks.
The loss of a dear one is treated a lot on this show and i really like that.
Elias is slowly starting to become more empathetic.
That ending was sudden and unexpected, I guess shit's gonna go on now.

Ngl, I kinda like Chise as a fox. She's adorable.

Also, Elias is daddy as a human. Damn.

RIP to Joel. Poor Leanan. She's alone now. No matter what she says, she loved him. She loved him a lot.

The love story between Joel and the Leanan sidhe came to a sad and bittersweet conclusion of sorts, as with the help of Chise making Fairy Ointment to help the Leanan sidhe have Joel be able to see her, just for a little bit before his passing, they both got to lock eyes again, have a little convo and have Joel give her his blessings before passing on to the afterlife. Chise spent so much time and energy (especially with no sleep) making that Fairy Ointment, which was confiscated by King Oberon after Chise and Elias were returning home because that ointment is like a mini-taboo, but she puked out blood and the ring broke in a cliffhanger.

I do feel like this particular story could have been developed a bit more, but it was good nonetheless. Good music too during the farewell scene, and quite the intense cliffhanger to end the episode on out of nowhere.

Also, it was nice seeing Chise run around like a fox but realize that her real home as said fox was still in the Elias household, basically showing the Ashen Eye that Chise truly did care for Elias and recognize that place to be her home without him holding her hostage there essentially. That apprentice bond is real shit there.

idk why but i busted out laughing when she had that hematemesis at the end

anyway, Joel and that fae was just a bit quick. like, oh, i knew it was you. i researched what you were long ago. take my life, i want you to... i mean wtf where did that come from? honestly, she seemed to care for him more than he cared for her. she just filled a void in his life, whereas he was her life

by the end of the show you forget all about the rather meaningless fox stuff at the start. she runs away for a minute then the familiar and skullhead track her down and POOF she's back to a human and wants to stick around. the end. just like that. super lame

i had decided to drop this show during the episode. this show is ok. some aspects of it kind of move me. but it's also a bit odd/creepy (old dude + 15 year old love story?), melancholy and kind of slow at times. both MCs english VAs are so monotone and listless, and this girl has no confidence, no value of self worth, nothing. oh well

Welp, so much for a good night sleep. Trouble comes in the middle of the night as Redcurrant asks for help. Poor Joel.

I really like how this episode capitalizes on how otherwordly characters can feel human emotions. Not to mention, the episode felt emotional as Chise strives to help make things right and help Joel.

The moment when Joel sees Redcurrant also felt really emotional.

Yeah tell me about it. I was tearing up a bit during that whole exchange between them. So sad, but I’m glad that Joel finally got to see Redcurrant at the end like that, just before he died. So that way, he can really rest in peace now.

And that was impressive of Chise to really be assertive like that for once. For something like this, I really don’t blame her.

That fox deal got wrapped up pretty quick.. and here I thought we'd be spending a couple of episodes on it. First time I've an issue with the pacing.

Joel and succubus part was emotional though, that kind of love story which never saw its conclusion. I still couldn't get enough the way they designed succubus character, a bit too x-rated lol.

Fucking cliffhanger once again.

no fucking way the succubus episode got me tearing up, such a good follow up to the episode about them from earlier. it is too bad we didn't get an entire episode with chise as a fox though, i feel like that would've been interesting

So beautiful. Amazing love between two different creatures. One is able to see the other but can never be seen while the other can never see her but feels her presence. Man shit made me cry. I'm weak to beautiful romances.

Ah of course Chise. Nothing ever goes normal with you. At this point I'd surprised if she doesn't have a tree fall on her house after saving puppies from a fire.

Redcurrant is such an underrated character. She loved Joel for YEARS because he saw her ONCE when he was younger. I'm so happy they ended up actually getting to say goodbye to each other.

WTF do so many anime studios need to do Spoiler previews??? At least give a freaking warning or something so we know to skip that part like with end of episode preveiw

Also, same "i don't understand the logic of others", I will ask: WTF are every last story treating humans becoming non human like is one of the greatest and unacceptable taboos. Guess what? in just this 14 episodes there where tons of femele who where non human, even have husbants or are solo or whatever. But no one care that they are non human. On the contrary, they live preactically for hundrens of years, they are more powerfull and this is can go on exactly because humans are inferior. Yet, even the not human not anything MC, when someone suggest for the girl who has little to live, who has a fragile body, who is powerless, to become non human, the ideea is not even a possibilitaty. Despite the black dog being a perfect exemple how one can still be human, yet non human.Or what, if people saw how the "beatifull woman" essentially killed other guys before Jeo, would they still be able to feel sad for the vampiere? Ah yes, We only make judgmand depending what we see and avoid thinking

So again, in a nutshell, I do not understand, why any story, regaldess what it is, always behave like human becoming undying, powerfull, no risk of dying due to old age (= organ failure), super power that are not human, more perfect form that are clarly not human, are a majore "NO!" even if practically every one else in said series are non human, who lived for ages, and no one has any issue with them being non human. And let me not even start with how many anime have non human MC. So again, what I try to point out again and again, the ideea of "human becoming non human WILLINGLY" is a taboo (the ideea with willingling is because most stories where humans become non human, it's always the same scene: it was an accident, curse, or other NO chose, and the MC has a life goal to turn back human). And of course, let me not even start with Isekai or other stories that have Level up, class change, and skill learning elements, where again, it's the absolut proof that this "taboo" make 0 sense. Ancient old mage turned up? MC skelet head should have looked for this ancient make exactly to turn soon death wife into an non human who will live for who know how many eons together
