| Based on the preview, we're going to see Zura and Elizabeth. Elizabeth bitch slapping the fuck out of someone (I wasn't paying attention to who the victim was, not that it matters). This was a pretty depressing episode but knowing the Shinsengumi, they're not going to take this one lying down. Kondo-san has and always be one of my favorites in Gintama. Even though he's a stalker and utter perv who shat his pants during his engagement with Princess Gorilla, the way he looks after and worries about the Shinsengumi like his own children is very touching. |

| What a depressing episode. Though, Gintama always mixed comedy with drama, but now i guess we should say goodbye to old lighthearted stuff . On bright side, Zura will return in the next episode. |

| Decided to save 2 episodes to watch in a row on the weekend, its been raining in my room for the last 45 minutes. It kinda screwed with me when even Gintoki was so broken apart that he was walking toward Hijikata and Sougo with his head down. |

| Hijikata looks cool without his Shinsengumi uniform, it's pretty rare to see him in casual Samurai looking style. And nice to see that Hard-boiled detective with his sidekick as well (Is his sidekick a male or female? I still confuse about that) Anyway, farewell Shinsengumi.. and cant wait Zura in some serious action next. |

| Damn the atmosphere was depressing (as it should be). The art and animation was solid! Really liked how they put some quality into it. Kondo again showing why I respect him as a character, and Toshi's tear was pretty sad. If Sorachi kills of Kondo and Matsudaira he has massive balls. Although I can't see kondo dying. A small wish of mine would be for Katsura to be the next Shogun, just imagine that. |
| So he really died... Matsudaira was pretty awesome, acting all sassy in front of Nobunobu xD. I hope the part where Kondo-san was beheaded was just a dream Hijikata had. |

| I'm not ready for all these sad stories T_T. These OSTs are all so sad and beautiful at the same time. They describe so well the mindset of the characters. Matsudaira has some big balls, but I really really really hope Kondo will not die. Gintoki's eyes were perfect, there are so many emotions in them. |

NOOOO. :'( This is not going good. I know how epic this arc may be but enough. Shigeshige's death is ENOUGH. His death already brought so much and now... I never felt this emotional before. Crap... | Phew, after rewatching the scene I realized that Toshi was having a nightmare and Kondo didn't actually die ... This is depressing as hell though, Shinsengumi disbanded and Kondo + General orded to be beheaded. Seeing Kondo and Gin drink to Shigeshige was so good, Kondo genuinely looked like he'd grown up, a true hard boiled man. |

| Beautiful and heartbreaking episode. The animation was amazing as well as the ost. The whole episode was so depressing starting from the Shogun's funeral, Gin and Kondo paying respect to him, when Sougo and Hijikata saw Kondo in the Mimawarigumi car, Gintoki's limping towards them and "Forgive me" to Hijikata crying. Even the title "The day the demon cried". Everything hit me just so hard; damn Gintama making me cry so many episodes in a row and more yet to come. I don't think my poor heart can take anymore, but I can't stop too. |
