And thanks to you for proving ReZero has a blind/toxic fandom, Everyone defends this anime like it is their long lost fiance from 2 years ago that got hotter than Emilia Clarke. While I've defended my fair share of really toasty piles of feces, it’s extremely annoying when people see pass the faults the anime has and how flawed the characters, the story or lack thereof, and world have become. While I can't speak on behalf of novel readers because I haven't read the novel and whether or not it is good is not a matter I particularly contend with, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Re:Zero the anime is overwhelming flawed. It's hard to argue when people insist that the cast is amazing when they're not even as interesting, unique, or developed as casts from animes like GATE or Sword Art Online. Okay, maybe more developed than GATE, but they have nowhere near the same level of humanity and personality we see in a subpar anime like GATE, which is less known for its characters than its action.

And Shounentards refer to yourself that has Naruto on their top 10 anime list.

The thing is there are a lot of characters with a lot of flashbacks and this arc is really boring and progressing like a turtle.You dont need to make an arc that long in order to flesh out characters. I know re zero has its unique points but using them again and again is utterly boring. And why others view would change my opinion on rezero S2 Part 2 ? it's my own opinion others won't affect me, and this is a FORUM so i should speak whatever comes to my mind, basic logic.

If the show constantly needs flashbacks and conversations to explain why the characters are the way they are, then maybe it's just bad writing. I'm sorry but I don't need to know why Petelguese went crazy or what happened to Garfiel to make him so aggressive. I mean, the flashbacks are neat I guess in a "oh so that's what happened, cool." kind of way, but I feel like they're not providing much beyond that.

You can have a great character without having to force feed a backstory. For arguments sake, Sayaki Kanamori from Eizouken is a perfect example of a great character with no explanation needed. Sure, having flashbacks and giving a backstory helps but I feel like lately, that's all Re:Zero has been is backstories and explanations.

So you're telling me when Garfield prevented anyone from ever leaving the sanctuary again! Listen to him as scream-shouts in anguish about this whole situation is psychologically acurate in real life ? i just want to enjoy the anime as it should, it doesn't have to be realistic and i could care less about realism since it was an animation ! hence Isekai anime that's the selling point which i'm a fan of.

Did i ever mention i hate this show ? No, i didn't, it's because I've had high hopes about Re Zero i feel like they could've done so much better in plot terms, and i wouldn't compare it with SAO, why ? sure both fall in Isekai genre but the whole concept is different SAO was more of an adventure part, i would compare Re Zero with Steins;Gate instead in terms of Psychological/Thriller genre and the whole concept of going back to the past to change something in the future.

Sure give your best, i know someone is losing arguments when they bring up irrelevant subject into the argument, and btw i don't give a fuck about what you think about my anime taste, once again this is a forum so i talk whatever according my own opinion, i don't care about yours and don't expect people to respect your opinion when you don't respect others.

The dialogue is a fucking mess, full of repeats and bloat with a minimum of substance. Emilia and Subaru said “liar” and “I love you” back and forth to each so much my eyes almost rolled out of my skull and exploded from the force of impact. Like it would’ve gotten boring even if had been some kind speed-based shouting match. It was unbearably bad and I can’t believe anyone thought that scene was ok, let alone a good idea. Subaru’s big wager with Roswaal was similarly bad because Subaru not only made a big autistic speech, and put ridiculous conditions on Roswaal that no one would have accepted, but he didn’t even really say anything. Beyond the absurd conditions Subaru basically said he would win and that was it. And I’m sure, I’m very sure, that the justification for Roswaal accepting this bullshit is a mix of his total lack of sanity and him not thinking Subaru could actually win. The problem with making such a stupid bet though is that Roswaal is just strong enough to ignore it. Sure he would be breaking his word but if he actually lost he suffers no real penalty for just killing Subaru and resetting the loop. This is not a winning strategy, you can’t really force Roswaal’s hand if he can just kill everyone. He has no reason to abide by the conditions of the bet once he loses.



it does great for character development and shows us deeper backstories, the whole show was kind of slow. compared to season 1 which in my opinion was so much better than the second. In the first episode of season 2, it kicks off with rem being forgotten in existence so we expected the plot to go deeper into that and save Rem. However, 24 episodes into the season, we are still in the same old sanctuary. The plot got old, it was in the same place over and over again. so in conclusion you're the one who's blind. imagine watching the entire season with the same old plot.



Basically here are the problems with Re:Zero season 2 part 2. The dialogue is still ass. The pacing is still terrible. Long scenes of painfully boring dialogue are still commonplace. We are still stuck on the same challenge. Nothing truly interesting or exciting has happened. The audio, between Garfiel’s shouting and the horribly inappropriate music is the worst it has even been in Re:Zero. And when Subaru should have failed in episode 3 he’s saved by a big fucking lizard at the last second, which even does a fuck you victory cry, because the show is just that blatant in how few shits it gives. And if that doesn’t tell you everything you need to know about why I almost tapped out so early, then nothing ever will. It had a good hook and showed some promise, it even delivered on that promise from time to time, but I just can’t slog through all the shit it takes to reach the good stuff. Not when I can watch so many other shows that don’t subject me to the same terrible craftsmanship and frustration.



First season of SAO is a pioneer of isekai Anime, that explains why is the show is really popular not only in Japan but in the entire world eventhough it went downward after the 2nd season but still enjoyable, and about Mushoku Tensei, i did say that the show might kick off in the future because it has a lot of potentials but could be bad too if the plot get old and bland like re zero, so then what's your point ? I'm going to say it again, if you don't get the essence of what a good isekai anime should be then you don't have the right to critisize my taste when you're watching the entire 2nd season of re zero and trying to justfy everything, because for the life of me I can’t see why anyone would put up with that garbage anymore.
