You've read it right. I'm not really going to be that active on here that much anymore. I have quite a bit of bad memories and while I did enjoy my time for many years, it's time for me to finally move on ^^ but I'll still be on to check comments such as this one, so don't worry, I'll still be around! Have things been going good in your life?

I confess, I've been pretty busy. . . I got a full scolarship in computer sciecne, I got the top 3% of grades in all my classes in two semesters and all my professors have highly recommended me into the STEM (basically super advanced) program. I'll also be traveling abroad relatively soon so I can work with this technology too. I didn't think I was so smart, honestly, I thought I was quite dumb for most of my life lol. The stuff I've learned about computers, woof, it'd drive you crazy. That's another reason I wont be that active on MAL.

It's a fun place so far! I'm meeting some new faces and learning more about modern anime to which I've been avoiding for the longest time, it's giving me some interesting new perspectives about the medium for sure. Though I confess, it's been an adjustment, but luckily I've found a buddy I've clicked with easy already. <3 <3 <3 I hope to talk to you again soon Shreya dear!

Speaking of school, I got a message from my college today saying that due to scoring in the top 5% of grades for the past two semesters, they’d like to offer me a scholarship! Holy crap!!! I didn’t know I was this smart C__C

I'm pretty similar to your best friend if that's the case haha! I don't really follow any groups' content though so I don't know if I'd consider myself a stan either. I really just listen to the music and if I can go to a concert for some of the groups, that'd be pretty cool too lol

I listen to way too many artists lol. My Spotify wrapped said I listened to nearly 500 artists/groups and I know for sure most of them were k-pop haha! If I had to choose which ones I listen to the most, it'd probably be Oneus, Dreamcatcher, Exo, Itzy, Sunmi, Day66 and (g)-idle! Who do you listen to?

And yeah as someone who is a bit of a hedonist (when it’s earned) and has a passion for food, it was admittedly quite hellish and I got depressed for a bit. The worst part was: I didn’t LOSE my taste entirely, but could only taste and smell “one” thing. It’s like no matter the nuance all of it was lost. I’ll give you an example: I love coffee. I have exactly 36 different types of coffee in my house. I am able to tell, exactly, what type of coffee you’re making just by smell alone because my palette is just that accurate. But when I had covid? It all smelled and tasted like: “Coffee.” It was so fucking tiring. Ugh. I hope I never get that again.

Awe that’s something awesome. The same thing happened with me and FMA 2003, it reminded me of how great anime could be–....... T-that the time period it was made in has long past… ironic lol. I recently rewatched Bebop too, and it actually became one of my favorites! I grew a whole new appreciation for it at this time in my life where I’m becoming a little more stoic and closed off from things that have happened to me, but still smiling. Say is the Haiykuu manga still going or have you read it at all?

Oh man a cold at the start of tne new year?! You got some horrible luck there. =.= How bad we talking? Uh, speaking of colds... in December, i got covid and it was so weird! The first night was awful, it felt like I was trying to breathe in and out razorblades. Then I got bad headaches. Then that all settled on the 3rd day, but suddenly lost my taste and smell which luckily all returned in a 3 weeks. Crazy stuff. =.= But at least I have the antibodies now, so it's nearly impossible to catch it twice haha. I ate so horribly after I got all my senses back it's insane lol.

Me? Honestly I'm getting back into anime - rather, the anime that got me INTO anime. For my birthday, my family got me a 4k TV IN MY ROOM! So I'm collecting all my favorites in 4k to rewatch them again. Shreya, you HAVE to see how good these old, hand-drawn series look in 4k. Bebop and Ghost in the Shell look better than almost everything released today it's insane lol. Oh god, and don't get me started on Evangelion.

Also, I fun fact: I play almost no games through the school semester, they take away too mcuh focus from my study so I don't even play an hour during the week. It's a bit extreme, but I'm a trial-by-fire person lol. But I DO allow myself to watch series. I'm going to rewatch Legend of the Galactic Heroes! It'll probably make the semester fly-by.
