This one was really weird. It made me want to know wtf happened there with Nonoka and her friends. Noel is so cute. She's like the cuttest thing ever. I would watch the anime just for her.
The most mysterious this season for me it looks like.

Seems interesting, but the character designs are overly cutesy to me. Surprised there's actually a dude in the little group of friends; seems more like a "cute girls doing cute things" vibe.

I'll keep watching if only to find out what that shiny circle in the sky is. Hopefully the drama in the show won't be cluttered with silly misunderstandings.

Also, doesn't Nonoka know that she lived in that town before? She's acting like she's never been there for most of the episode.

Why is everyone commentating about the lolis?! It makes me feel like the only one interested in that disc above the sky...

The loli fanservice is still nice

Sensing drama in the near future. B/c she didn't tell her friends she would be leaving. If so, it would be a little annoying to watch.

Disc like thing in the sky is interesting. Probably related to Noel. Liking this so far, the characters are too adorable ^U^

So that bitch lost like all her memories after only a few years? The 3 year transition from elementary school to middle school just fried her brain.

Noel is absolutely fucking adorable. oh. my. god. I think I was going blind from all the cuteness. Already trying to be best girl of fall 2014.

I feel like this is going to go the way of Ano Hana. Bunch of separated friends are reunited because of the special girl. Noel is probably an alien or some kind of celestial entity. She might be able to grant all of Nonoka's dumb wishes, but her ultimate wish is probably to be reunited with all of her friends and have fun when they were kids. That ultimate wish is the one Noel is meant to fulfill, then she vanishes. Just like how Menma wanted all of her friends to be happy and together again, and then she was able to move on.

Oh god please. Now I'm stuck thinking about it...I don't want another feels trip! :'(

Cant wait for the next episode of Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko: The Sequel.

the art is stunning, all the girls are super moe~ art kind of reminds me of NagiAsu and Boku wa tomodachi ga sukanai at times. I have a feeling this series will be an overdramatic slice of life fantasy series. they introduced a lot of characters at once ._.

Yea I loved that show too. She looks like a mini Erio!

Still shitty that the creater of Denpa got fucked over multiple times by both the anime studio (which was why there was no season 2) and the publisher of his LN (they axed it for no reason).

I am very mixed about this. This anime will either be really good or really terrible. I will say that for a new studio, the animation looks amazing.

Been hyped for this anime and yup, it was as good as I expected w
Tho the drama on this ep caught me off guard making me feel a bit awkward about it o-o

Anywho- I was wondering why the bgm somewhere in the middle was almost similar to one of Mirai Nikki's osts (even the timing). That's when I found out the music was also by Tatsuya Kato. That made sense wwww tho it feels a bit like it's recycled

Overall, nice animation for a new studio (like others said), Noel's so cute, music was really nice and relaxed (my cup of tea), VAing's great, Noel's seriously cuuute, and finally, this'll either end up as a ride to feelsville or somewhere else--

Oh and P.S> Noel is so cute.

Let's be more detailed about our posts rather than just posting "Enjoy'd" or "2/5 dropped" etc. Consider posting more details about scenes or why you enjoyed or did not enjoy a certain character or the episode in general.

Very AnoHana like, I am curious if Noel is living or is a different type of entity as well as how supernatural this anime will get. The floating thing in the sky makes me curious and I am enjoying all the characters.

The character models give off a very.. Nagi no Asukara feel. The girl working in the shop has a similar structure to Chisaki from that series. I do hope it's as enjoyable or even more than the two shows mentioned :)

The ED and OP were great and I think are my favorite so far of this season.

I really just can't see myself watching much more of this one, it's got moe and loli all over the place, and it's ate up with kawaii-ness... and that's about it.

It seems like the whole saucer in the sky thing is candy to make you sit through 13 episodes of "hey look at me, I'm adorable and do adorable things!"

Maybe I'm just too old for this kind of thing, but I seriously kind of felt like pedo-bear watching this one.

The animation is good, no complaints there. The OST wasn't horrible. The VA is better than I anticipated, and doesn't kill my ears. But there just doesn't seem to be much story other than young girls doing young girl things with a disk floating in the sky to make the audience think they're gonna get some big plot later that probably just isn't gonna come.

So, I think I'm done here. First series to be dropped of the season, I normally try to tough them out a few episodes before dropping them- but this one just doesn't seem like my cup of tea.
Odds are I'm not going to find my way back to a thread after my first post, it happens on occasion but not often. So, if I say something that offends you and you feel the need to force your opinion on me because obviously everyone should have your opinion or none at all, feel free to post it in the thread that I'll probably never see again. However, if you are interested in intelligent discourse, feel free to message me.

Okay, so we have plain character designs, (forgivable- for now) flat characters, a giant flying saucer in the sky, and some sort of tragedy in the past. Eh. How old are they supposed to be, anyway? That was a lot chores for what looks like a middle-schooler.

It does indeed have Anohana vibes; although I'm not so sure that's a good thing. This doesn't seem like it would appeal to me, but I suppose I'll try it for a couple more episodes at least. The premise setup was okay.

Wow, a bit more drama than I was expecting (was expecting none), but I am intrigued by the mystery vibe it gives. I thought at first this would be the cute happy slice of life of the season. Seems I was a bit off. Some sort of magical ghost or something (I've got the feeling she isn't normal anyway), a big thingamajig in the sky. Nah, there seems to be more to it....
Even though I only watched the first episode of AnoHana, I get the same vibe too. Well, nice cute art, so that's also something going for it.

This was nice, I sense some potential.

Another cute girls are doing cute thing type of show but this time I see some overlapping theme of friendship in it. Getting all old buddies together will sure be nice. And in the center of it we have cute alien.

And I just have to wonder what really happened there and who is able to see that disc. Why someone is remembering her and some of the children forgot? Well, questions, questions. Definitelly will watch this.

I'm getting some serious P.A. Works vibes from this, really liking what's there so far. I can't help but suspect that Noel might be a ghost or the like since no one else seems to recall her and she wasn't in the flashback with the group. Well ghost or not, she's just flat out adorable. Looking forward to how this mystery unfolds.

As the first episode to have a little exaggerated as I see it, too dramatic, though not because of anything happening.
For now, the plot seems to have to turn on the promise made between the two protagonists at an early age.
The drawings are not fully realized, but do not denote any sign of sloppiness.
The opening and the ending, as the OST, they look pretty right now.
For now, my vote is 6/10!

I don't mind the "How moe can you go - the moeverload" feeling of this as much as the average, but the fact that they tried to reach for a tearjerker in the first episode was pretty cheap. Plus, they really failed.

Other than that, seems half alright I guess, but very predictable all around.

Guess I'll give it 2 more eps.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who was reminded of Anohana, cause this reminded me a shit ton of Anohana. MC's mom is dead, MC being reunited with friends (s)he long lost touch with, group of friends who gathered at one special place when they were young, random girl who appears to be a spirit or something other, forced melodrama - totally Anohana.

The difference? Anohana didn't leave me bored out of my skull. Oh dear heavens this was a real struggle to push through. I'm not even sure what exactly is going on, probably because I couldn't even force myself to pay much attention through half the episode. I'll keep watching, but damn, this had better improve.

The art is great though, I'll give it that.

Hmm this show might be tóó dramatic considering the first episode was already very dramatic.. but I thought it was nothing to be dramatic about. x)
It is véry similar to AnoHana. When I watched the ending you see that Noel can't be seen by everyone (yet), which was one of the keythings in AnoHana.

Anyway the animation looked good and I might give this a shot.
