| Ack. I hate too see Gintoki lose (for the moment at least), but those Yato are just crazily powerful! Kagura to the rescue, I hope, but she's pretty battered already and I don't think they'll let her fight again anyways. I'm curious how this'll be resolved. Kid chose a convenient moment to deliver his little speech, but I guess that's the way of anime. At least Housen didn't wait until Gin had recovered to deliver his final kneebutt. Ah, poor Gintoki. I wonder if there's any chance of Kagura's dad showing up XD |
| Well I kinda get what the kid wants to say but he was kinda annoying... he stole Gin-san's awesome moment of epicness of holding himself against Hosen... As for why bad guys would let them finish their talk; it's because the emotional blow for the others around Gin (or the "hero" in general) is bigger after he said something emotional/cool/moving I guess.. |
| Amazing episode.. Gintoki was owned. I'm really waiting 'till Kagura comes. Definitely the best fighting arc for me. For most emotional, I want to see the development between Kagura and Kamui first. 5/5 |

| I think the next episode we are going to see the demon gintoki really is in battle. How the hell can a immature comedy show turn into something so intense and so badass out of no where and work so well? |

| Gintoki is so bad ass in this episode, and that's done without making him super powerful! He just IS! What i like about him is that he's not superhuman, he doesn't have any special powers, he's just a normal badass samurai. He CAN get hurt, he CAN die, in fact he often almost does but he never stops fighting for his friends which is why he always wins in the end! (If only he learned that Ultimate Technique from the spirit in his sword which he rejected xD) Anyway, Gin is such an awesome character! Definitely one of best in all of anime! Oh yeah and what a nice moment at the beginning with Kagura and Shinpachi, there's some real character development going on in this arc and i love it :D |
| Oh man this glorious counter attack that's coming up will be sweet. This arc is very moving. The messages it sends out to people watching it are amazing. Gintama at it's best. 10/10 episode. |

| Well, at least the talking felt appropriate in this episode, unlike the last episode which was filled with relentless monologues peppered throughout the entire duration. The only part that felt off was the kid doing his stupid ignorant kid speech about how he acknowledges his own uselessness but refuses to escape to safety for who-knows-what reason, but that can be explained away by the fact that he's a stupid ignorant kid and doesn't know how to read the situation he's in. You'd think the mom would dash out there and take off with the kid instead of watching him sit there and shout like an idiot. |

| Of course Gin-chan isn't dead. How could she die from a shitty kick from the King of Dicks Night? Though, he's way too powerful. Gintoki managed to pull out a clever swoop, but it won't work twice. Damn, what Hosen was saying was so crude. I hope Gin-chan beat that shitty grin out of him and shove his katana up his ass. I didn't expected Seita mother to be dead... That was fucking sad :( In the preview, we hear Tsukiko voice. She'll have to ask Hosen for that pipe back x) |

| Poor Kagura, I feel so sad for her when she said that she lost to her Yato instincts. T_T I don't know what Kamui's upto, he helped Seita meet his mom and doesn't hesitate to kill others. What is he doing anyway? I feel for Seita, his mother died while giving birth to him and his substitute mother was forced to live in Yoshiwara to protect her son. Those mother-son feels moment were great. Gin's speech of him being with his friends rather was great, those flashback scenes means so much to him. Wow, Gin is fighting with two swords, I've never seen him fighting like this before, BA! But how is Gin supposed to fight someone this strong when all he can do is defend from Hosen's attacks. My eyes hurt everytime when Gin gets hurt. T_T |

| Gin-san vs. Housen. Sure their power level difference is pretty big, but do I have the feeling it is not over? And of course Gin-sans appearance absolute bad ass. This arc is getting better and better. You can't even expect more.....normally ^^ |

| GIN! No he wears a real katana, he can't die like this. The kid was annoying but his speech was good and the reaction of Gintoki just before the kick was perfect. This anime is really amazing 10/10 easily. |

| I felt a lump in my throat when Hosen was taunting Gintoki for losing to Amanto and therefore losing their land and women. I can't imagine how Gin-san must have felt at that moment "Don't turn me into a loser again" :( |

| First of all: REAL SWORD REAL SWORD REAL SWORD REAL SWORD I'm very impressed by this arc! The writing in these serious arcs definitely keeps improving! The kid's little speech did hurt things though. I would've preferred him just running off while expressing his gratitude rather than making Gin stop in a middle of a deadly battle to speak to him. Speaking of the battle, this situation seems completely hopeless. I wonder what will happen? |

| That fight was badass as hell. Reminded me of the beginning of Benizakura with Gin getting his ass handed to him. Looking forward to seeing how he fights back, since Housen seems more like a brute force type of guy rather than using skill. Agreed though that the kid was pretty annoying at times. Every shonen anime always gotta have the random street kid with a dead/imprisoned parent who learns a lesson from the main character. Although I feel this kid was implemented the best out of all of them, and he felt pretty organically inserted into the story. Also the Shinpachi x Kagura bait at the beginning was amazing naturally |
