Idk, this feels like a dull buildup episoe. Khun does make a decision and decides to become part of Wangan's team. How much he'll contribute...we'll have to see. Viole still walks the path he decides to as Viole. This is start of a new arc but there's plenty of characters involved. Definitely expecting some or even alot to be left forgotten. Sad really. This Archimede game also gives off weird vibes. |

I know I shouldn't get my hopes up and I won't, but I'm sure there'll still be some left deep down in me wishing for better things ro happen. I hope SO SO MUCH they won't ruin the workshop battle. Pleaseeee ๐ญ The new OP looks quite promising in the artstyle at least. It's getting a little bit closer to S1 unique artstyle. Was the red-haired (or golden?) man that Viole saw from rooftop at the end the same as the smoking man again? Can't remember. The new cover image of this season page is looking dope though! |

Wangnan meeting Ryun, and Dan's awakening for him to request Khun to bring him to the Workshop Battle, it's a team of rookie Rankers along with an elite. Khun has no choice but to team up with Wangnan and the others, as much as the others are adamant about him joining and then betraying the already bonded team. But if there's one common factor between all of them, it's Viole, and he's the link between Khun and his present party. Viole being in secret training with FUG and attended to by Reflejo the Fisherman, as with Wangnan and the team being subjected to Khun's training plans and already acting as the de facto new leader. And no matter how much of the strenuous training they did over the week, they're on their way to the Workshop Battle, as is the others with the official invitation. The 30th Floor of where one of 5 Battleships of Archimedes reside, Khun has a rather big bet because he must keep his past secret from Bam and the teammates of the past. Viole on the other hand, with Khun's teammates of Novick and Ran letting them go, and there's already a chase? The Workshop Battle arc begins next week, hope that it'll redeem the entire season as a whole. |

Last ep and this ep seem like they got better For people complaining: over the last week I read almost all of TOG and I can confidently say that the current season isn’t the fault of the anime but the source material. “Season 2” in the manwha is pretty bad. The art is borderline terrible, the setting becomes bland, and the story becomes repetitive and drags on. It’s no surprise that the anime suffers the same fate. The series really picks up and gets good in all areas once they get on the “hell train”. Before that it’s a slog in my opinion. I’ll even say that the anime is doing it better, even with e11 |

Always funny when you shit on something all season then it ends with a good episode, fairs. Actually found myself excited for the Stray Kids OP and Workshop arc. One episode can’t save this train wreck of a season, but this was a good way to wrap the cour. Honestly excited for what comes next even though I know it’s gonna look ass lmao. Khun and Bam swapping respective teams and taking leadership roles is pretty cool actually. Khun had them boys going thru HELL getting ready for the workshop battle lmao. Whole time he just sitting on an iPad watching everyone damn near die “Any team I’m on can’t lose” ahhh the aura. I missed having Khun in this show consistently, next season is gonna be good if this ending is any indication Yihwa training to control her fire ability was lowkey the best animation of the season lol. She was one of the bright spots of the season for me, loved her sm. she might be a lil slow and can’t cook but she’s my idiot. Still waiting on Hwa Ryun to show me something like y’all been hyping her to do for a while.. That cliffhanger! Yea, this was probably the second best overall episode after the ban and Khun reunion and it needed to be for me to maintain any sort of desire to watch this. They succeeded. Still a very big downgrade overall, but this was a nice finale. |

Huh, dunno if it's just me but the animation seems better than average compared to the other episodes...which is surprising, considering it's a setup episode. Still obviously subpar compared to other anime, but for the first time the characters actually felt alive - there was more body movement while they're talking, instead of just still frames of the characters standing with only their mouths moving. The directing as well, with not nearly as many eye closeups as usual and more wide camera angles. Anyways, think this episode did a surprisingly decent job setting things up for the Workshop Battle arc. Khun and Wangnan's dynamic is pretty amusing, looking forward to seeing more of their team chemistry. However, I think the show just doesn't do a very good job of capturing the overall tense atmosphere of ToG - I remember getting goosebumps while reading the part when Viole and his OP team all appeared together, as well as Shibisu and the OG team. Here, I didn't feel much of anything. Welp, I'm gonna have super low expectations for the upcoming arc but still looking forward to it. |

I dunno man. Even though I acknowledge animation being bad (it was actually kinda decent this episode tho), and a lot of skipped material. Just seeing the manhwa adapted and the emotions coming back is surreal. Especially the first 8 minutes with Wangnan's frustrations being so relatable, and Khun just doing Khun things. It it weren't for Oshi no Ko, I'd say ToG was by far the most enjoyable anime this season. I guess that says more about the rest of the shows than ToG, but still. Also, Rak had only 2 lines, but bro is still goated. Can't wait until he meets Brown Turtle again! And Team Sweet and Sour Pork running off to get the room with the sea-view (even Dan), bruh these guys are so hopeless, I can't lmao ๐ญ They are so loveable. |

Well clearly a downgrade in story and animation, but the studio is only responsible for the second one so. Hopefully the battle arc will be cool. I'm still confused about some stuff even though I got some nice guy explain a few stuff before. But mainly what they just said this episode "if the Tower finds out there's an irregular", if an irregular is so hated why didn't Headon just killed him in the spot? I know he was trying to kill him by doing that crazy test but...I don't know, but like red hair girl says "don't let them find out Bam is alive" I get the tower is so against Irregulars, cause they probably have someone like Mazino that does whatever he wants and they can't stop him but, they are fucking announcing to everyone that this guy is Viole and a Slayer candidate, which isn't technically announcing that they want to kill the King? How is this better than a stupid kid that also happens to be an irregular, they are literally announcing he's a strong guy wanting to kill the Tower's king, that sounds way worse! The only thing I can think of, is that people don't really care about FUG, like it's just a cult of people but they don't think Viole is an Irregular, which is kind of stupid? if he's a Slayer I feel like it should be granted he can kill him, or does no one know that only an Irregular can kill the King, such a stupid need to hide his identity is what I'm saying. Do we know who that person is in the op? the one that pops up when they are climbing the stairs and they block their face with light and has a black robe. OH AND RACHEL, why is FUG helping her again? I feel like it's a nice way to get a hold of her, the ultimate hostage, but no need to treat her that nicely...They really are just trying to make her stick long and be as unlikeable as possible. I honestly don't really care about her, I honestly hate how unlikeable they make her just for the fact it makes people complain so much about her, I don't want to see spam of "all my hommies hate Rachel" lol, like it's hate bait almost |

I'm not sure over this but was workshop battle really that short where it could be adapted in the next 13 episodes.. I'm considering the fact that they'd skip a ton, but still, was it? Not even sure what's going on with the adaptation, and hey, let this episode not fool you. Anyway, this being this, I'm extremely baffled over the fact that this second season entry has been split now?!?!?? What.. no, why? With every practical reasoning next episode should be episode 14 and not some random episode 1 lol. Can't even rate it basis the first arc alone because that'd be too harsh over "what-has-become" a walking abomination. I know this website just follows whatever has been done "officially" but this is still weird. |

So "part 2" of this 2nd season begins next week, there isn't any kind of break whatsoever, yet it's split into its own separate entry? What's the point of that lol. Anyway, this season felt like it just kind of meandered and I never really got super into what was going on. Now that they're going into the Workshop Battle, hopefully things get better in the next part. |

As a manwha reader, I’ll try my best not to spoil, but no the tower and it’s residents don’t just hate irregulars they’re scared of them because of their god like abilities. There’s only so many who could even go up against an irregular to begin with—so they allow them even if they don’t agree with the tower. That’s why urek just does whatever the hell he wants. The only capable ones are like family heads and jahad himself, but their identities would be spoilers so I’ll leave it there. Headon knows maybe about Rachel and bam then he lets on so there’s a reason he only did so much. But even that is a mystery still in the comic. There are more slayer candidates then viole like karaka for instance— fug has alot of influence and spies more then the small group we’ve seen in the anime. Ofc the FH and jahad himself knows of their presence, but that’s also just speculation on my part. Nobody knows that viole(bam) is an irregular they’ll just assume he’s a slayer not many tower residents ever met a irregular to began with.I’ll just leave it at this tho— jahad and the FH themselves are also irregulars. So they tells you all you need to know. |

Besides the train arc, the most hyped up arc in TOG, the workshop arc is almost here. And I mean, things just don't be seeming to be getting any better lol. And why. Why split these two entries again? If the main problem is because the dumbasses put the name of the arc, instead of just the season, then it's as simple as just fucking changing the name to season two like anilist does, and not whatever the hell dogshit minding is happening now. Doesn't even feel right to rate this properly yet, but all thing considered, this season was a 1/10, the one simply because of the first episode, the ONLY good thing to come out of this season. If not for it, I'd somehow make it a 0. |

Poor Khun, his new team makes him feel insecure, and it was pretty obvious since Baam used to carry them. Horyang is alive and recovered, and Dan didn't end up disabled, so now Khun and Baam's new teams are heading to the Workshop Battle, where they'll meet their former teammates. Unfortunately, Khun can't reveal that he and Baam are still alive. This season really disappointed me, and I can't imagine how the manhwa readers felt about this adaptation with its dip in animation and production quality. Even so, I'll still watch the newly announced season. |

@IzanaSolos I like the adaptation of s2 of Tower of God. There's a little dissatisfaction of course. But I'm glad they adapted it. You are just a TOG hater. That's all. Tower of God is not for you.
@23rd_Anis Your just wrong lmao. I love the manwha, in fact, I plan on reading it because I think the story has potential, this anime is just shit at showing that or anything else than an anime should do. |

So MAL is splitting the 2nd cour of Season 2 into a new entry huh, that doesn’t feel right lol, I get the arc names are different but this did not feel like the ending of a season, and I doubt next week’s episode will feel like an episode 1, I understand why they’re doing it but it still feels wrong lol. With that out of the way tho, this was actually among the best episodes of the season despite being a setup episode, it felt like the production was better in all aspects, the art, the animations, and even the directing, it all seemed more well done to me, a bit of a weird episode to give more attention to but I’m not complaining, it almost reminded me of the way I felt watching episode 1 of this season, if only it could have maintained at least this quality the whole time, but we were not that lucky lol. But yeah this was basically a setup episode, Wangnan had qualms about joining up with Khun but that was resolved quickly, really liked Khun’s moment there, and also Miseng’s impression of Khun lol. And from here it was grueling training, ain’t no way was Khun taking these weenies into the Workshop Battle the way they were lol, and we also got teased on Viole’s team as well as the OG gang, man it’s gonna hurt seeing them as enemies but I’m just happy they’re gonna be relevant again. And the episode ended on a weird note with Viole noticing a chase in the streets, another reason this doesn’t really feel like an ending but I’m guessing we’ll find out what’s going down next week. And that was the first half of Tower or God’s 4 year return, and man… I think we unfortunately wished for this on the monkey’s paw lol. It really wasn’t bad or terrible overall, but left so much to be desired after what I think is an awesome first season, The Answer Studio just unfortunately isn’t cut out for a show like this, the episodes where not much action was happening were fine but when there was a lot of it they just couldn’t keep up, it really is a shame too because I was so hyped when this season first started but they lost me along the way. But I will say, they have actually reignited my interest near the end of this first cour with this Workshop Battle arc being built up, I don’t think the show is magically gonna get better production so I won’t get my hopes up but I am looking forward to seeing how the story plays out, and it’s not like I haven’t been enjoying this season at all, I’ve had my fun and wouldn’t be sticking around if I hated it (unlike some reviewers in this thread) so I think the 2nd cour will be enjoyable enough as well. One thing I will miss tho is NiziU’s OP and ED, both are absolutely fire, but I’m excited to hear what Stray Kids has cooked up at the same time. |

Won't be everyone's favorite and the animation is a downgrade from s1. However, if you enjoyed s1 for the story and characters, I would recommend s2. |

Going into this season I was pretty hyped since I’ve been following the manga but I feel it’s been a let down so far. I’m praying there’s redemption tho, the workshop arc has a lot of great content so hopefully they do it well and we bounce back |

So this episode appears to be the set up for the Workshop Battle and it feels like it will be a free for all with a bunch of strong characters competing with each other. I'm assuming that Khun will have to fight Viole and their old team so I have no idea how this will go but I'm looking forward to watching it play out. On a side note it was nice to see Kang is alive again so FUG did keep their word in bringing him back, and Dan seems to have fully recovered although I thought he had lost the use of his legs, maybe he's just a little slower now. Regarding the ending of this episode, I wonder who that person was that Viole spotted being chased, luckily this series continues next week so we should find out soon. Since this has been broken up into 2 separate entries I'll give this one a 7/10 since it wasn't as good as S1 but I felt it got better in the latter half. |

Tower of God is not for you. Bro, you are the most obvious, blind ToG simp ever. Why are you calling other people haters when they don't like this season at all because it is genuinely a complete pile of junk? Like, if you can't see the massive problems this season has and with next to no effort being made and just proceed to ignore them while saying this is a "masterpiece", I got some news for you - you are delusional. |
