| Deathtopia, having died five times trying to find a way to eat Shinobu, realizes she needs a more drastic approach. Despite her hunger and frustration, she decides to change her mindset and strategize a new way to handle the situation. Her loyal subordinate, Tropicalesque, is searching for solutions, but Deathtopia takes it upon herself to look after Shinobu, ensuring she remains in good condition. The story of Shinobu, the vampire who we've all known to be iron-blooded, hot-blooded, and cold-blooded... this was so beautiful it gave me chills. And to think this episode was setting up for an unexpected reunion… they're on a whole different level. The story was incredible. Deathtopia was such a cool character in this arc as well. You can really see why she’s the one who named Kiss-Shot. She kept dying and getting smaller, I also loved how her voice changed as she got smaller. Simply amazing. Best arc of the season so far. NO doubt about it. And next week, I think it’s finally Shinobu Mustard from Shinobumonogatari, I guess? Which would mean HE would appear after so long. P.S. No episode next week.... NOOOOOO |

| I mean her name is indeed “Suicide-Master”, so yeah, one way or the other, the person does take after the trait their name is based upon right? Because in the name of consuming Acerola, she was doing nothing but… plain suicides lol. You know, the best part about this series is how a character we didn’t even know about yet in the story becomes as much as likeable as any other character in the matter of just a couple of episodes. If it still wasn’t obvious, now we definitely know from whom and how Shinobu learnt that way of talking and that manner of laughing lol. Still this arc has been as poetic as it could have been, I mean when you know what led to Shinobu deciding that she wants to be a vampire, and kind of simply asking in the end, you can feel she didn’t have any regrets… might have a bit but not after that name lol. Props to Suicide-Master for coming up with such a badass name xD The last bit with Suicide master biting Acerola and the whole corpse castle crumbling down felt like a passing the torch segment lol. Until they meet again, but yeah what an arc this has been, and this coming after Sengoku arc says a lot about the series. Animators animated with their hearts out. |

| Probably the darkest episodes in the series. It was nice to see how Kiss shot came to be. And now the question is what kind of role will Deathopia start to play since these episode seemed like a prologue to me. I expect that we will see more of her especially with that ending. |

| Have to give props to Tropicalesque. Saw his master withering away and decided to handle the problem himself. Great to see her origin story but I'm a bit curious how suicide-master heard the news about what happened to her in Japan. Their reunion will be fun to see. Plus I'm curious how Araragi is going to react to her. |
| To me those vampire names sounded extremely silly / cringy. I don't know guys but this arc felt the weakest from this season, though it will continue, so there is still time for its redemption. |

| The birth of Kiss-Shot-Acerola-Orion-Heart-Under-Blade... truly glorious. It was very interesting to watch Shinobu's story come to life, how she became a vampire, and where she got her mannerisms from. It was a very unique arc in this series so far, with the medieval aesthetic, as well as overall visuals and direction. It is amazing how Studio Shaft followed up the Nadeko Draw arc with another beautiful looking arc in Acerola Bon Appétit. The voice acting from both Deathtopia and Shinobu were fantastic, and even having not known anything about Deathtopia up to this point, the storytelling in this series made it so she was likeable even without much development. Shinobumonogatari is likely the next part of the story that will be adapted, and it will likely close out this season. That means a certain someone we all know and love will return, but we'll have to wait an extra week with the special program scheduled for next week. Can't wait for it. |

| well yeah its based on ln, nadekomonogatari is a whole book 256 pages (only 1 arc nadeko draw), meanwhile wazamonogatari has 4 arc in there cruel fairy tale (prolog) , arcerola bon appetit , so for shinobu past story only half of the novel, well if after this they will adapt monster season and skip the rest side story off season then we will see monster season first novel is shinobumonogatari maybe it will took 4~6 episode |

| Well this arc ended a bit faster than I expected, I thought there would be at least one more on it, but despite the shortness it was very very good, super cool witnessing how Shinobu became Kiss-Shot after all this time of knowing her. And looks like I was right to wonder if Suicide-Master and her minion Tropicalesque would survive this arc, Tropicalboy didn’t make it unfortunately, he took matters into his own hands and paid for it, but he was at least of use to his master one last time as nourishment. As for Suicide-Master, I was surprised to see she survived, I was thinking the vampirization would somehow kill her but she’s apparently still around to this day, and has even heard of what Shinobu has done in Japan, and the end of the episode revealing that she has plans to meet Shinobu definitely has me interested in how an interaction between the two of them would go after all that’s happened, should be cool if that’s what’s next. And damn man, the scene where Shinobu became a vampire looked so good with that massive moon in the background, Shaft really did a banger job with this arc altogether, really loved the whole aesthetic and vibe, felt different than how the show usually is. And Shinobu’s reason for becoming a vampire is both kinda beautiful and kinda fucked at the same time lol, doing it so she could eat those that gave their lives to her is noble sounding but realistically messed up, wouldn’t have it any other way for a vampire story I suppose lol. And unfortunately no episode next week from the looks of it, I’ll gladly take Monogatari in Fall season tho if it ends up bleeding into it, this arc in particular would have fit the spooky season so well. |

| No OP in this episode. Kinda expected it. Suicide-Master taught Princess Acerola how to talk and how to laugh. She also prevented her from gouging her eyes. Seems like Shinobu owes her a lot. But I wonder if it would've worked and Suicide-Master was just spouting BS because she didn't want Acerola to ruin her beauty. Guess we'll never know. Tropicalesque died. That's a shame. He was a good minion who cared about his master a lot. I wonder how the poor sod died. I don't think Acerola killed him. So, it's possible he just killed himself after unfortunately seeing the princess by accident or something just like the villagers. But Suicide-Master wouldn't let his death go to waste. Literally. She ate the leftovers. Bruh. And that inspired Acerola to become a vampire herself. Tbh I didn't think this prequel part would be over so soon. But it was really well done. This episode was great. I'm glad the show is moving back to the present day. I assumed Suicide-Master would've died permanently at the hands of Kiss-shot when she became a vampire but I was wrong. Seeing her visit Shinobu in the present day sounds amazing. Her meeting Shinobu's "prince" is going to be an amazing interaction for sure. I'm wondering why she still has the loli body tho. I assumed she shrunk in the past because she kept starving herself to death. So, her body was compensating. Anyway, can't wait for the next episo- *hears there's no episode next week again* Welp, that sucks. |

| This arc is just magnificent. You basically have two characters talking non-stop (which I normally hate) but the impact of the dialogue, the voice acting, direction, music, art animation are just so far ahead of almost any show you can mention. Brilliant. |

| @nanashi796 according to the leaks, this season will adapt a bunch of "Off season" arcs and one "Monster season" arc. But there is a high chance for 1 or 2 more seasons to cover the remaining material. |

| I can't believe one of the best arcs in the series was so short ç.ç but still very epic until the end. Please tell me the next arc it will be Suicide-Master going to Japan. She became one of my favorite characters in the series. Also Maya Sakamoto did a great job with the voice change from Princess to Kiss shot. |

| This arc might've been only two episodes long, but it was really impressive all-throughout. The chemistry between Acerola and Deathtopia was intriguing and fun to watch, where we can see some of the mannerisms that we know so well was taught to Acerola here. I do feel bad for Tropicalesque for the way he was killed off as he was incredibly loyal towards Deathtopia, but at least his death wasn't in vain as Deathtopia made sure to eat him up. It played the part for Acerola into wanting to become a vampire from her own free will, which led to Deathtopia giving Acerola the very name that we all know and love by now. Hopefully we can see the two of them have a reunion of some sort, as I've really enjoyed Deathtopia as a character and how dedicated she was with her plan towards Acerola as a whole. Fingers crossed that this happens soon! =D |

| @_YukiNoHana_ Basically, Acerola convinced Suicide Master to eat her as an expression of love, rather than simply as food. In this situation, Suicide Master biting Acerola and turning her into a vampire is a kind of spiritual equivalent to the musician chopping off his hands: an extreme and destructive manifestation of the uncontrollable love and admiration that Suicide Master feels for Kiss Shot. |

@IzanaSolos I wondered about that. When we first saw her, she was the same size as the Princess. By the End of the Episode, she looks like that Loli Vampire Princess in Arifrueta. Or Claudia from Interview with The Vampire.

| Lowkey Princess Kiss-Shot reminded me of the "kind" version of Beatrice lmao. I'm curious how the reunion will go. Kiss Shot is my favorite. Her writing is bringing nice past references but brought it to life beautifully. |
| Oh my fucking God man, that was amazing. It was truly amazing to see how Princess Acerola became the Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade then Shinobu Oshino we know and love. She got her personality traits from Suicide-Master. I wonder if Kiss-Shot acts like her Princess self, her curse will kick in again or turning into a vampire completely negated the curse? I guess it's the latter , since we've never ever seen the curse again in the present time, though to be fair, we've never seen Kiss-Shot act all elegantly as well. Man, this made me want to rewatch Kizu. I'm surprised to see that Suicide-Master is still alive, now I cannot wait for the reunion. I am really curious to see how current Shinbu would act around Suicide-Master. |

| Looking back to when Araragi encounters Kiss-Shot after becoming Shinobu's master (like the alternate timeline, or when Seishirou was resurrected), Kiss-Shot always laughed with the "Haha" instead of the "kaka", and this makes way more sense now after we find out Deathtopia taught her to laugh that way when genuinely happy. |
