| Man, I think this show has a competition for just about anything. Still, we got a beach episode already. Anna's personality imo is still so fun to watch. Lemon's interation with Kazuhiko was also amusing although I find her character and personality to be more pushy. Episode wasn't without some humorous drama but I find the episode quite entertaining, a good way to get away from the usual school setting. |

| It's time for a beach episode! No fucking way the first three minutes is spent with Nukumizu and Komari arguing about school tap water... LOL. Nothing more than two loners wandering around the school and drink water to pass the time. First half of the episode is largely focused with Komari this time around. Which ofc, leads us to the main even we've all been waiting for... IT'S BEACH TIME! Not all sunshine and rainbows just because it is though. Once again, really love how this show deals with rejection and doesn't just play it off like nothing happened.Yakishio is obviously hurt over the rejection of last episode. Nukumizu isn't too oblivious, but still pretty oblivious. But not too much where it's annoying like other romcom MCs. Also, yeah, these people are definitely a anime/manga club for sure. Tsukinoki rally pulled out that Megumin EXPLOSION!!! But yeah, Komari has more guts than the other two girls in their little losing heroines club. She actually took her shot. No matter what happens, she deserves extra respect for not chickening out and losing just because she couldn't act. Do feel bad for her because she'll obviously get rejected. Because it's pretty obvious that Tsukinoki and dude Komari asked out are secretly going out. Will Komari be joining the Makeine Losing Heroines club? Or the Winning Heroines club? |

But still, i'm expecting an actual romance development down the line, right ? Not just crushes cause some other dude rejected me, also if the MC rejects already rejected girl (and boy do we know it's coming) ... what happens then ? lol. But hey, the beach episodes are a must too, you wont see me fighting that. Tho i need to say that Mari Makinami Illust-, im sorry, i mean Tsukinoki needs more screentime. |

| Hoo boy we get an entire week to anticipate this girl getting absolutly rejected @Swagernator From what it seems like LN readers have said its not that there wont be any romance its just that the Main character guy is kind of not the focus of any of that but I imagine somewhere along the line it will, I just hope it avoids the harem route and just sticks to Anna or something cause thats the one hes got the most chemistry with and frankly just a natural progression of friends hanging out to that is exponentially more satisfying than teasing romance this early. especially something like this where shes basically giving up a life long love. |

| Another hilarious episode! This week we get a super fun beach episode who sees the mc getting a little bit closer to the three girls. Loved all the quirkiness and the ones-liners, and as always loved the little sister lines. What's unexpected compared to previous weeks is that we end this one on a 'cliffhange'r, although I'd be very surprised if the outcome was any different than for the other two girls. |

| A pretty self-aware, kind of outdated hybrid of concepts with the beach/camp elements but executed in a way that while straightforward, wasn't boring to watch. Characters are just having fun for the most part besides a shy and introverted Komari and Lemon briefly who was still struggling a bit from the news from last week. Nukumizu's not the most interesting personality individually but there's enough to his character that keeps the episode from feeling boring and he did have some nice moments with Lemon there by encouraging her to just let loose in the trip here and focus on the fun element more than anything. No real harem hijinx or unnecessary fanservice here even with the whole Lemon-Nukumizu trip there and in that sense, it does feel refreshing. Conceptually, I'm not sure just yet about the longevity this series has to remain fun and not have its progression be too slow or the series lose its luster or if it can maintain that the whole time. But even with some parody and cliche concepts, the series can still somewhat feel relaxing enough to watch. Animation was pretty damn good once again too as a whole with some nice character acting moments there throughout. Cliffhanger does leave a more awkward note with Yomari confessing to Tamaki but at least she did gain enough courage to make the move, even if it took her nearly being blasted in the face by a firework in order to do so. Nukumizu's role as the observer and casual friend in the series so far has been nice but I do wonder if there's more to his characterization and presence in the long run that can have him be interesting to watch beyond the initial episodes. But yeah, normally I can't stand beach episodes with the only notable segment with a beach that I actually liked beforehand in recent memory being from My Dress Up Darling. This episode wasn't anywhere near as great with its beach segment as that particular episode's segment there, but on a whole, a decent enough episode. The losing heroines are still characters I personally haven't found myself attached to that much (especially Yomari) but they aren't bad either and so far, they do work for this series. Yanami being in her own world the entire time with playing around and enjoying meals does embrace the idea of just having fun and leaving the worries behind (which she did literally do as the beach sounds better than the situation she would have originally bee in). Don't think this anime in particular is a standout great for me but hey, it's consumable, light and not frustrating to watch for the most part besides a couple cringey interactions at times and the closet scene from the previous episode. Can do with shows like these from time to time, as long as the end-game progression is well done in the future. |

| A light-hearted beach episode that ended with a bang! I'm really enjoying the interactions between Kazuhiko and the other characters, and him and Komari's moments were especially funny to me, because their awkwardness makes them really hit it off. Otherwise, an excellent beach episode, fanservice and all, with funny and wholesome moments. Each of the characters have their traits that make them endearing, and the subtle character acting moments make things that much better. As for the visuals overall, it's going above and beyond my expectations, and with that, it continues to be one of my favourite shows of the season. Will Komari be a winner, or being yet another losing heroine? We'll have to wait a week to find out. |
| Komari... wow, what she has done is a great courage. Looks like they all had fun this time, and Lemon too, I'm glad Lemon is cheerful again now, However, this time Komari was also shown a lot. So far this is still really fun. Great episode today.  |

| Lemon knows how to deal with people afraid of getting wet, lol. As much as Komori hated it, it was probably still preferable compared to getting her face burned :S Prez's comforting words of were appreciated. Komori should love herself more. That was a crazy out of blue confession, tho. Really good episode again. |

| Time for AOTS! 3 eps in is almost record time for a beach episode, lol but I’ll take it! The lit club “canned” training camp is the perfect excuse for everyone to have some fun in the sun and I ain’t see a single pen being put to paper lmao. Komari is so cute and I enjoyed the focus she got in this episode. Knew she was gonna be a good character when she and Nukumizu started the episode with a water fountain water quality debate. Everyone had certain water fountains they thought were the best in high school lmao. Wish Komari wasn’t so hard on herself though, her social anxiety and awkwardness is exactly what makes her so cute. And there’s definitely a lot of cute girls that join literature clubs so idk what she was on about there 😂 Idk how Anna managed to finesse her way to the lit club beach trip but I’ll take it, she looked really cute! All the girls did tbf. Nice de-stresser after all the rejections everyone’s been getting.. fireworks, barbecue, couldn’t ask for more Yakishio is so damn cute! Her wanting pick me ups from Nukumizu was adorable and after losing with her long term crush I agree she needs a little spoiled Anna spoon feeding Nukumizu is so cute, you gotta waive an extra 200 yen off for that alone lol Wouldn’t be a Makeine episode without a confession and rejection though. Poor Komari probably gonna get her first heartbreak next episode from Tamaki.. can’t wait for next ep |

| Another episode another girl getting rejected or well will next episode. Beach stuff was fun, took em just 3 episodes to give us the fan favourite. Lemon and Yanami looked great in swimsuit, specially Lemon with her tanned body. Things have started progressing with the mc for the two too. |

| Another really strong episode. The quality hasn't let up so far and it's impressive. Really glad Lemon got her moment this week, it was really sweet actually. I just wish Kazuhiko took the damn hint and picked her up. That POV shot of her hands was immaculate. While the first two guys that rejected Anna and Lemon have been more or less non-existent, I'm actually liking Shintarou. He's cool and down to Earth, and had a total chad moment saving Chika. Speaking of, the last 5 minutes of the episode were really well done. Chika being lost in thought could've scarred her for life if it wasn't for Shintarou saving her. And that gave her enough courage to actually confess her feelings. Which is surprising, considering she's the meekest of the three heroines. So good on her. But I think we all know what's coming next week, based on the title of the show. So from there, it'll be interesting where the series goes, because I still don't know if Kazuhiko is going to be a romantic option for any of them or not. Either way, I'm loving this show so far. |

| Another masterpiece episode, they doesn't drop the ball at all. Fun beach episode with no needless fan service + some great interactions between characters, specially between Nukumizu and Lemon. Chika was the focus this episode. She is the most shy but mustered up so much courage too confess. I know it gonna end badly but still great effort. But mainly she almost gave me heartattack by bursting cracker on her face, that was close. Shintaro & Koto are great characters. Unlike other male character who rejects this guy actually has a likeable personality. Koto too  Fellow Isekai trashman let's go.. Kaju is such a sweetheart spreading weird rumours about her brother to the whole market also looks like she is in the same resort. Every fucking Anna scene is great. How tf she squeezed herself in that camp. Also feeding Nukumizu that was surprisingly kind and sweet I was 100% sure she would eat that. Nukumizu rizzing up two girls already. Ik it will be slow be soon he will become side to mc maybe(?). They are also changing ED visuals. A1 is cooking real good. |

| I wasn't expecting a beach episode this early but that seems to be the case for this anime... and I hoenstly can't complain. Aside from the obvious fan service we got to see again some great character dynamic along with bonds being strengthened and even a confession by the very end. Too bad for Komari to walk into a lost battle but we'll see what comes out of it in the next you. Great animation as always whenever it matters. |
