| Haha, the man service in this episode is hilarious. Ushiyama is no pushover for sure this season. This episode has a theme of survival and fits well for the overall story of this series. It's so unnatural to see cocoons at such a season though. |

| Ushiyama as the Pussy Monster with Chiyotarou, HAHA that's quite fitting. The Pet Monster arc continues with Hijikata being "dead" for quite awhile, and with Ushiyama's disappearance, the tattooed skins are still as valuable. Everyone's finding for them, including Kadokura who got called out by Sekiya, the latter thinking that he got Kaokura cornered. It's a shame that they let him get away. Instead, they found silkworm cocoon, and used that as a bet against Sekiya who still withholds Hijikata's whereabouts. For Kadokura who was born in the star of unluckiness, this is not the place that he would have desired to be dead, injesting pufferfish fugu poison. But he did, and while his death is imminent, it's Hijikata who has the last laugh with both of them eating two of the same poison to neutralize one another, leaving Sekiya slain by the master himself to death. And this is the end of the Pet Monster arc, let's see whats's next. |

| Honestly really liked this episode, it might be actually one of my favourites of the enitre series. I shall never underestimate the power of anything when it comes to Golden Kamuy. I hope Obencho gets to meet the kid again though, their small relationship was wholesome to see. Hijikata continues to be my favourite character alongside Sugimoto though and I wouldn't mind more episodes being dedicated to him. So far this arc has been great though and I'm excited to see what comes next. |

| This was probably one of my least-favourite "diversions" in the series. Perfectly serviceable for what it was, but the show has done better in the past and will undoubtedly do better in the future as well. |

With sidecharacters like this you don't miss the main ones. Awesome episode, Hijikata ftw. Btw, I love how vulgar, masculine and raw the dialogue is. | So dick sensei Ushiyama is now the pussy monster. The series never ceases to amaze me with its deadpan humor. Hijikata never stops being a badass by playing possum and getting after Sekiya. I guess thanks to Ushiyama they won't bully that kid anymore. The OP and ED are both bangers. |

| Ushiyama getting a nickname like that from the rich kid had me laughing a lot. It's another reason why I love Golden Kamuy's style of humour. =) Kadokura's luck went his way for a change when it mattered the most, which helped him recover from being poisoned during Sekiya's trial. As for Sekiya, he severely underestimated Hijikata and paid with his life. Once again, Hijikata proves how much of a badass he is, but also shows why he's very dangerous. Once again, this was a nice episode. Hopefully we'll get back to Asirpa and the others next week. |
| Most of this episode was Golden Kamuy comedy gold with Ushiyama the pussy monster and Kadokura being a goof, it was also kinda sad when the skating kid had to do an equivalent of Old Yeller to Ushiyama lol, but it also had an intense bit near the end with Sekiya and Kadokura. I liked that backstory for Sekiya too, it definitely adds more to the way he is with testing fate. And I also loved the big brain play from Hijikata, and I was afraid that we were gonna lose Kadokura here but thankfully he had insane luck for a moment and got rid of the poison in his system while trying to die faster lol. And while the OP is growing on me I absolutely love that ED, they picked a really good one. |

| this Golden Kamuy show really stands-out when it comes to comedy and action! Kadokura's lucky really paid-off by eating another poison because he wants to ends his suffering but instead that 2nd poison was a neutralizer for the Wolvesbane! 5/5. also LOLZ at Pussy Monster! |

| It's good that the writers of this show design a whole "side-arc" to reintroduce team Hijikata to the viewers. It was fun, entertaining and thought provoking at the same time. Comedy and serious plot was, once again, nicely blended. Despite this, I'd love to go back to the main plot, especially how Ogata develops. |

| I was wondering last episode how they were gonna get out of this predicament, then this fucking madlad Ushiyama- I mean Pussy, just rose from the grave like it's nothing lmao. Another glorious episode of Golden Kamuy. The dissonance between that intro scene and the opening was hilarious. Kadokura, another madlad. It's amazing how every character in this show is so damn great, friend or foe is a concept that does not exist here. Well, I guess Ogata, that cunt. I wonder if we'll see Rock Lee again, and he finds out that Pussy is still alive lmao. Golden Kamuy has no ceiling man, it just gets better and better. |
