Heh, they bought back all the sweets, snacks, tea, and treats for the finale. Honestly, this was pretty relaxing although it did feel like pretty much every other episode in the show.

The darker elements of this episode didn't really distract me as it felt like the slice of life elements overshadowed that.

Nice finale.

I'll miss Tori's sniffs for sure.

That cake looked delicious. :3

Lol at that "Found you!" scene.

Overall, a cute and relaxing but also a little boring show. This could have been more interesting, especially without those "warnings."

Honestly, with the way that the OP has foreshadowed the enemy's conflict with Tori, it's just ridiculous that the whole thing was underutilized.

Despite all the whiplash going in Ashram, the Pentagrams do the ONLY one thing that they know best: continue the CGDCT cutesy and relaxing moments with tea time. Even as the enemy slays those whom are against them, I was actually looking forward to the conflict involving Tori, but it never happened.

But then again, I don't expect much from mobage adaptations, so this one is an easily forgettable whisk.

What the hell just happened? I expected that something like a resolve about those warnings would happen but no... Instead it was an open ending which makes me wonder if there will be a second season.
Bad way to end the series after all those warnings imo

Extremely disappointing and anticlimactic ending. I loved the moments with the girls in this show don’t get me wrong; but for the life of me I can’t understand why you’d set up the knights for 3 MONTHS and never have them interact with the girls??

Why even set them up if you’re just going to ignore them? I get that they wanted to promote the gacha game, but there were better ways to do that. I don’t think this will draw any new players in.

I’m not gonna say it was a bad show though. The girls doing cute things every week was very cathartic and I did enjoy it quite a bit. That warning stuff every week just really annoyed me.

Great episode! 'Sniff, Sniff.'
SNIFF SNIFF
SNIFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!
Al and Tori bought a full lemon drizzle cake and the money system in this world looks cool.
The little green guys (Who I have named NIPAHS!) are very cute as always.
Mel still has the whisker for good luck...
Of course it is actually a horse whisker xD.
Later, they all had some tea.
Tori had some trouble opening the container lol.
At least they stopped the jam falling by using magic xD.
The jam went to the chosen one...Tori!
It was nice to see the girls split the scone.
We then got to see a segment of the knights again this time in battle not that I get exactly what they were doing though...

This show was fun to watch and though it would have been good to see what came of the warnings, I do understand that they would want you to play the game to see that (which I believe is releasing in English at some point). I hope we get a season 2!

Going to be really hilarious if they're really planning to just chill for all the remaining episodes and the conflict teased in the opening is just there to create false expectations.

As the official web site says "We bring you pleasant and lively days of girls", those enemies may not be going to appear in the main story.
As expected from the middle of the series, the show finished without battles against the knights. The 'warning' scenes would have been the foundation for future development. As a result, the show was an eccentric CGDCT show or something like fairytale picture books left in an attic. Since I don't like so-called isekai genre, it was refreshing to watch.
  • tea time: scone with a crack, lemon drizzle cake
  • match cut: a door that was opened by a knight and a door in front of Arsnotoria
The nostalgic ED is good too. (You can listen to full length version here.)

I don't think that was Ashram the knights were attacking....at least not Ashram at the same point in time that the girls were there.

What's the probability that Solow and Hammit are all over each other outside of working hours?

Seriously, why are they giving us knights' plotline if they never gonna interact with the girls?

What a huge disappointment for someone who expected the battle between the girls and the knights

It's been 3,000 years! But, finally, we're at the end.

In lieu of addressing all the random "Warning" and knight scenes, they decided to completely ignore that and focus on setting up one final tea party. I can't say I'm surprised. As much as I was hoping for a confrontation between the two factions, it always seemed like that hinted violence was nothing but bait to draw in an audience.

The problem with this show is that he never choose his own path, trying to do something mixed and maybe completely different from the original game.

Being honest, i don't have any problem with the CGDCT or slow slice here, even the "warning" moments, however these two ways doesn't connect throughout the episodes.

Do you want to be a story about girls JUST having fun without any issues? Go ahead, no problem. Do you want to be a action drama about knights and "magical girls" fighting against each other? Goes the same answer.

But if u want to mix both, at least try to make some sense and tie these worlds. We came to the final, and none of the two sides even saw, or knew who was their counterpart.

Well to me Arsnotoria was disappointing and had a lack of identity that takes him down.

Like others said, it was a fine CGDCT anime with rather weird way to handle the story, the way it ended was nonsensical and awkward, felt like a bait.

Looking back, first several episodes you would see only main five girls (which made me wonder if there is anyone else resides in that "abandoned" castle), and only later more girls started to pop up left and right. Feels like creators either didn't a solid plan how to handle this anime, or maybe whatever plans they had has changed during production.

Why even include the knights sub plot if nothing is ever going to come of it?

If they'd taken it out then at worst maybe some fans of the game may have been disappointed it wasn't included but they'd already know the story so it's not like there would be anything lost. But by including it they managed to first startle the people not expecting it to be included in a "cute girls doing things" anime and then confuse and disappoint everyone when it all ended up being absolutely meaningless and not tie into any other part of the show.

I'm certainty going to miss Tea Wednesdays, nothing ever happened on the show but I loved every second from it, the characters were super cute and each one was unique, I can't get enough of how cute Voyniy is and the cute way she talks. The OP was probably my favorite of the season, I liked a lot how quiet it is at the starts and then the petal drop.

A slice of life haters nightmare! lol, but seriously, can somebody fucking add that tag already? This anime will surely leave a bitter aftertaste for some, especially wanting more out of the knight sub plot, but I enjoyed the day to day relaxing wholesomeness myself. Strange anime at times, but I would watch a sequel for sure. 8/10.

If I had to use one word to describe this anime it'd be confusing, a pretty cute with some good art CGDCT bundled with some dark knight fantasy with seemingly nothing that connects them other than a hint here and there.

I thought those black knights were at the castle where the girls were, it was just a test though.

I hope there's a 2nd season, they had the girls engaging the black knights in the opening and there were all those warning signs.

Basically nothing significant happened for 12 episodes.

I enjoyed the cuteness and enjoyed the main girls, it wasn't boring, but I want to see what happens when they actually meet and possible battle.

So the girls are in another dimension on the same world and the knights are trying to make them teleport to their dimension to capture them and find the Kikumono, is that Arsnotoria right? Or the entity the girls saw at the very end? Nah, OP is giving that hint for free.
Even if the Ashram is destroyed the girls wont see any change/damage in their dimension, right?
They have to give us some freaking battles between both sides ffs

So, the great conclusion was... Tori is finally capable of opening the jam jar?!?

I just have no idea what they thought when writing the story for this. It would've been a decent CGDCT without the warnings. It could've been an "okay" action show with crusaders vs. little witches.

And what was even revealed by now?
There was no expalantion of what the crusaders are after. "The one who listens"? Who is that?
Does anyone at Ashlam even know they exsist? Maybe that, but I guess they are just some far away, unimportant villains to them?
What even is Ashlam? How did the girls get there? And why is Tori so important?

So... are all the awnsers in the mobile game? Or will there be a Season 2?
Aside from the show being quite disappointing, I'd still like to know what was even going on.

From beginning to end, this show never failed to leave me confused as hell. The CGDCT is all it had going for it (for me anyways), but that felt bland even compared to CGDCT standards. It wasn't aided by the fact that they failed to expand on the "Warning" parts of the show. It may have been average at best had they not introduced the "Warning" stuff, but the introduction of those plot points and then failing to explain why they mattered really lowers it.

I really just kept watching in hope that they would add something more. Also, the OP was pretty good

And the end definitely felt like they were saying, "Now play our game" lol.

What they accomplished here was making a fairly good, fluffy iyashikei, and then ruining it by mixing bloody murder porn into it. I give the iyashikei portion an 8, and the disjointed ultraviolence a 0... so I guess that averages out to a 4, overall.

All those "Warnings" ended up being one big bait LMFAO. What a disaster.

Terrible series. I have absolutely no idea what the director was trying to achieve with this project. It was incredibly boring as a SoL/CGDCT, very underwhelming as a supposed Action/Fantasy anime and terribly lacking as game advertisement.

2/10 - An absolute waste of solid animation and nice character designs.

However, I won't let them win. I swore the instant I heard it was a game adaptation that I'd never check it out.
I'm fine not knowing what the whole business with the knights was about. It's was a little fun, but still overwhelmingly disappointing.

I also enjoyed the anime as well. I think the problem with most people is they expected the knights and the protagonists to find/fight each other and then transform into a dark plot like madoka or some other magical girls. I personally didnt want that to happen because im not watching this anime for a dark plot but for the slice of life moments so for me it was good.

I don't watch slice of life usually. The only reason why i continued till the end was my hope for the knights eventually to discover the pentagrams and shit to go down. Needless to say it feels like a huge waste of time and I wish, despite really hating spoilers i read them before wasting my time. Oh well.. lesson learned - if something stinks to be boring and doesn't change within 3 episodes better to move on 😩
