| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Another episode, and I've gotta say, it's something too. Only Episode 2, and I'm already cringing from the beginning of all the lamest jokes the main trio can pull off. Do y'all know the meaning of sarcasm? And more into this Gibia stuff, with ugly CGi monsters and whatever weapon that is to find, just because all the characters are fighting in a post-apocalyptic world, and everyone are already friends, first-time or not. I still don't understand really what's going on, but the thought of seeing more killings from the trio's (samurai Sensui, human Kathleen and ninja Kenroku) perspective to save whoever is alive and eliminate all monsters getting in their way before them turning into infected Gibia zombie monsters, that's serves as the basic running plot for now. It's really survival of the fittest in obscenely bad-to-mediocre animation. This Gibia disease truly is infectious to the core. Oh, and being badass for both Sensui and Kenroku is the only way to be outlandish. Like it's to say "This is really the afterlife, and monsters I have to kill just because they're there and that's my sole purpose." What a textbook example of how not to make an anime by hype alone. |

| That's sad for Maeda, RIP old man. And indeed it's confusing, and the fights are very bad to be honest, it's so weird because the monsters look actually decent in 2d but some of them are in CGI and they look HORRIBLE, I just don't understand why the studio still animate some on them in CGI, and also they were too lazy to animate the fight properly sometimes it's only pictures like a powerpoint lol |

| Bro what the fuck is that CGI? That gibia that abducted Maeda looked like a damn slideshow . This may compete with Isekai cheat magician for my lowest rated show Also can someone explain why when the lights go off, instead of running like a normal human being, Maeda stands there with the sword waiting to be abducted?? So far the only redeeming feature of this show is kathleen’s design. Other than that, I’m not even sure how this got greenlit and why CR would want their name on this. God I hate that started watching this, now I have to watch it all the way through. |

| I didn't quite like the way they used the camera in some of the shots. The opening was comically short and underwhelming. lol. The emotions could have been executed better. It was odd that Sensui and Kenroku didn't know about fashion because fashion has existed for quite some time. I did like the way Kathleen wasn't even a match for Sensui. Sensui talked about how blades colliding is a bad thing. It's a detail that many stories seem to ignore. It was nice to see at least one story that mentions this. Sensui's blade also started chipping, and it was not useful against armour. I liked that bit too. This anime has some good parts and a lot of bad parts, but the latter hasn't made me want to drop this anime yet. lol. I hope this doesn't become unwatchable since this is the only anime I am watching this season. |

| The background characters when they shoot their guns really do be wiggling. I think I've found my main problem with Gibiate though. The poses and keyframes are just so stuff and dull, even in the action scenes. I mean if the entire show is going to be stillframes, at least make them dynamic. Also the monster thingies sound fucking horrible |

| For now this anime is super mediocre like @Marinate1016 said I would compare it to Isekai cheat magician but for me is a little better because main characters at least struggle during fights with monsters. | I do not really like this anime. I decided to give episode two a chance and it was not worth my time. Frankly, its just boring. The characters aren't very likable, the animation is not great, and plot is confusing. There's nothing keeping me interested in the series. I'll watch the next episode but if it keeps getting worse I will be dropping it. |

| The plot was dumb. The direction felt weird af. The animation got a super awkward movement everywhere. Obviously the monsters CGI kept its worst. The storyline itself felt nothing rather just showed as a messed up at every scenes. The sound effect burnt my ears too, the transition for the conversation sounds was bad, too late and heard nothing. Idk. Theres nothing good on this episode. Lmao. |

| Yikes, what a pile of hot stinking garbage this is. Horrible animation and CGI, cheesy AF lines and music, crap fighting scenes. Goddamn, absolutely dropped. It would be better if if it didn't take itself so seriously, then maybe I'd stick around. |

| Hum, the story itself doesn't annoy me but the voice acting & the animations clearly are the issues here. Soundtrack also didn't feel appropriated for the scenes they were used in. What amazed me in this second episode was the soldiers' animations while firing their guns. No recoil, sort of unlimited ammo, not even moving an inch : I thought this sort of gun fights animations were beyond old but apparently no. God this was just awful to watch or even listen to. |

| I'm just laughing at how shit those monsters look. Didn't understand the scene about ninja guy dyeing his hair. What was that about? Also Maeda had a real and sharpened sword?... aight. The OST kinda gave me DBZ vibes. |

| I'm not sure if I didn't notice last episode or if actually dropped but it the animation was really bad this episode. Our time travelers adapted faster then they probably should've but well, not like they had time to anyways. |
| I would never undertand why monsters are unaffected by military guns. I mean, if their skin is so strong, they should be immune to sword hits as well. besides that well - bad "animation" (I was looking foward to some fight scenes... what a fool) - I understood what happened but not why. The monsters attacked the camp because of the blackout, but why the blackout happened? no clue. - When Sensui took the sword, I thought he would kill everything, monsters and humans alike (i mean, his eyes turned red) - I will keep on watching: the plot isn't that bad (I've seen worse), but I'm not enjoying it. |

| I can't continue to watch this... CGI is so horrible, the Dialog was like meh and boring... Also the Characters are so unlikeable, and Maeda scene could be impactful, but I don't have a feeling for his death at all (they failed to build up his death) |
