| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Not bad, the race still is intense and I think the episode captured the magic of that. In addition, there's some anxiety at the commentaries. The determination is strong though. Also kinda liked the insert songs they added to the match. I thought that was kinda neat. Takeru really took the game for the team. Nice. I think the teamwork was pretty evident this episode too.  |

| Shimono-san's character lend Suwabe-san's character the uniform, but too small. Very heavy mood. The bond... Shimono-san's character cheered her up. First attack, about having a brother who is very good at running. The sempai pair went pass them even if they gave unnecessary pressure. Nice, showing my wonder. Shimono-san's character asked him to run for him, but as sub (lol @ the end). Shimono-san's character cheering Suwabe-san's character up while running. The guy who looks like a girl with twintails and with two different hair colors sounded harsh, but seems like the most reasonable guy in the team. The most evil one in the team is the relationer. Nobu's character is fast that the opponent was surprised. They won. Is IN the cw of OP (haven't listen to the single yet...) It also went over OnoKen's character's trust to Suwabe-san's character. Then another photo shoot. Idol team (after ED) saw Suwabe-san's character's return. Summer camp next. |

| So Honan is facing "intimidatingly-annoying" team. They really ARE annoying especially their Relationer, Dozono. And Kuga is now "trapped" with the Photography too. |

| Was that the best race so far or what? So much fun to watch!! I super love that shot when Kohinata slid under the platform that Himemiya was jumping over. Kinda glad there was at least one decent person on the other team which made that team more believable. Both Nana and Kohinata were really cute in their yukatas lol <3 |

| Himemiya, the trap of the season; also a badass for turning off that radio. Best race so far. Riku didn't really perform as great as the others but regardless, it was quite a rush. Also loved the animation towards the end. |

| The episode got a little cheesy with all the connecting emotions talks but it was still a nice episode. The race was really enjoyable, I especially love it when they do all the flashy cool stunts. Riku still has brother issues, Sort of an inferiority complex I suppose. The Heath-Kuga exchange was awesome, Especially when Heath started speeding up after Nana told him to slow down. Takeru owned his run xD Kohinata trap is always good XD Next episode looks like fun. |

| I liked this episode more or less. But really, this episode especially, the cheesy lines like "running is about connecting feelings" and like 10 of those "I can't lose right here" lines kind of got on my nerves. I really want to see something from Rikus brother. |

| lol omg Kuga-senpai is so cute. "Look Hasekura!" That team they faced was so annoying unlikable. Although I liked the pigtailed guy, he was on point. |

| First off, Kuga is way more likeable than I initially thought he'd be, I am soo glad. Second, when will Heath be paired with someone who isn't a master in blocking. Really lookin forward to seeing him go all out :c (Though there was definitely a tiny teaser of that right at the end of his section when Sakurai told him to slow down..) |

| This was a pretty good episode, aside from some of the cheesiness that made me feel like I was watching a typical, by-the-book shounen (I feel like this is shounen, but MAL doesn't have it in the genre). This race felt more intense and epic than the previous ones in my opinion, which is a good thing. It was so satisfying to see that asshole Relationer throw a bitch fit because his team was losing. Anyway, looking forward to the next episode. |

| Man, that moment when Takeru started sprinting...it made me realize that I relate to him the most. It seems like he's constantly challenging himself and always aiming for greater heights on the brink of insane. He's not the friendliest guy (far from it), but he probably has the greatest passion for Stride. |

| That was probably the best episode of the series so far. I love Kuga's character and design. It was a very good scene when he connected with Kohinata was a great scene. Can't wait for the next episode. And I am sure that Yagami's brother will return. |
| Eh... Wish they'd focus more on excelling at the sport physically and with strategy instead of all this corny feelings and emotions bullshit. Props to Takeru for being a beast on the anchor leg and not being all in his feelings like everybody else. Making all the characters on the other team just straight up assholes just to make it clear that they were antagonists made it feel really generic. And what the hell was up with that Trap Card?!?! |
| Better episode than previous ones. It was a match against a team that pretty much brought out the qualities in the other, but it was a nice setup with Kuga and whatnot. |

| Im starting to lose interest in this anime. It doesnt really have the things I like in sports anime. The series focus too much on team strength. I prefer sports anime that focus on the main protagonist's individual strength and put team strength on second priority. Actually it doesnt even feel like this series has a main protagonist. Also the pacing is really fast. You cant really feel for the characters. There's hardly any character development. All the characters so far are shallow and uninteresting. |

| Oh man the theme of this episode is so original. Absolutely love it!!! Seriously though really? "Stride is about connecting your feelings". I'm sorry but that's just a little too cheesy and cliche for me. The episode was fun to watch though. I just can't take it serious sometimes, lmao. |

| All the cheesy stuff about feelings aside, that was a great episode. Especially when Ayumu was running alongside and cheering for Kyosuke. In general, any ep. that gives Ayumu and Hozumi time to shine is a great ep. to me. :D |
