It felt like a punch to the stomach when this suddenly popped up in front of me! Woah, new Steins;Gate! So, just to be clear, it's this one episode, the next we'll get will be Steins;Gate 0 which is yet to be announced? |

They should change S;G Zero as sequel for this special, not sequel for the original one, huh? |

Although I was in a fit over the idea that Kurisu would not be in the show, because of her death. Can someone, then please explain to me the part after the credits because either that threw me for such a huge loop and quite frankly, I don't know anymore and it's hard to say whether I want to watch this season when it comes out. |

Oiacz said: They should change S;G Zero as sequel for this special, not sequel for the original one, huh? I think it technically still counts as both, since this episode just serves as a bridge to the alternate future timeline of Steins;Gate 0 which is called the "true sequel" to Steins;Gate. So in a sense, even though 0 is a different time-frame this episode still connects them and by extension 0 is still a sequel to the original game/anime. |

Ah just seeing Steins;Gate again makes me happy. This definitely still had a lot of emotions poured into it imo. The ending particularly was interesting and I think sets up for at thrilling ride that will be S;G 0. Can't wait! |

I only just finished Steins;Gate a while ago then this suddenly comes up! Sadly, I didn't think much of this episode though. Not close to as great as the original episode 23. However this does lead to Steins;Gate 0 which I'm hyped for! EDIT: I typed that up before the after credits, I change my opinion now. This is now at least a 6 rather than a 4 or 5. |

I picked (I liked it ) instead of(I love it) option because they made me re-watch the death scene :( But I'm like most of the people hyped about it and I'm very happy that S;G 0 will be a different route rather than a continuation to an already well polished and finished story with the first season + Movie |

I really hope we'll get the English translated VN before the anime airs. I'd love to play the visual novel before watching the anime, I'm not sure if I'll be able to hold back if anime comes first. |

Unsurprisingly there are a lot of questions left unanswered here, but hey that's why we have a whole new game/anime coming up~ Either way it was pretty awesome to see more of Steins;Gate after so long TragicRomance said: Well that and the lack of video mail from the futureMayushii's actions changed the entire timeline, wow. Dat girl is, in a way, Goddess of timelines if you ask me. patrykvan said: Well Steins;Gate 0 will definitely the most high priority game on the market for translation upon release, but even so it'll surely take a while to translate. So it depends on how much later the anime airs compared to the VN release. If they do it like Utawarerumono: Itsuwari no Kamen did this season for example and release them both effectively simultaneously, then there's no way the VN will be translated in time for the anime's startI really hope we'll get the English translated VN before the anime airs. I'd love to play the visual novel before watching the anime, I'm not sure if I'll be able to hold back if anime comes first. |

That ending though really. Steins;Gate 0 indeed. As a side note, this alternate episode 23 is really sudden and surprising though overall. But being a gate to Steins;Gate 0, it is really good. |

THEM SON. my favorite anime is back, but im very doubtful. i hope they dont fuck things up or they shouldve just let everything end in the 24th episode. i mean, that was one of the most satisfying ending ive ever watched. i even feel like the movie was unnecessary even though it's quite decent |
why am i so well drawn into time travel stories? do i really have that many regrets? |
