Reporter friend from ep. 2 is in the stadium for a game, Iwamura is today's patient. When taking note, there's no ink to his pen! He saw his tobacco and reminded him of the fire he forgot at home. He said he did but is still worried, He went back and saw that the tobacco was off. While going back to the game, he read the info. about preventing fire and thought about tobacco again then stove. He really went back to check it, which is off. With many worries, he missed the rest of the game.
Wow, the boss, is he another patient for next few eps? Anyway, he was scolded by the boss for missing the game again! Or is he his friend? He said Bando hit two balls or something, so it would have been an interesting report. He thought Iwamura is looking down at the publishing company because it's small. He said not. Then the boss said please write like Number (the magazine that Bando was on for cover).
There he goes again. He's worried about fire a bit, then when he saw his boss drinking, he thought about the water that he washed the tobacco with... He's afraid of flood. He went back suddenly and saw that the water's turned off.
He's reading in the restaurant about his sickness so he went to visit Irabu. Irabu said it's rare for people to know the sickness before coming to see him. He said Kyouhaku Sinkei sho. He even searched for the solutions and he chose counselling. Irabu said it's useless because the life style won't change. Vitamin shot time! The animal form is... Tanuki?
Irabu is in Iwamura's house and saw many books. Irabu said it must be easy to burn. Irabu suggested to quit smoking but he said without tobacco, he cannot work. Irabu said why not throw the tobacco into the water... he throws them into the water!
Iwamura went to ask for job and he reluctantly requested for Homeless. He searched info. and went to the park to ask a homeless. He is still worries about fire when he saw another homeless, who got helped by the main homeless, smoking. He went back and saw fire is off.
The boy with baseball again! He finished the report with half done interview... He asked for treatment but Irabu brought him to another hospital for his own grudge! Iwamura really did it after several times of hesitation.
He requested for doing interview on homeless again... that person smoking made him think about fire again... So... the report helped that homeless "that helped another homeless" to ensure the safety to high school girl students about harrassment...
Iwamura went for that homeless because he used his report to make crime proven to be no crime and is angry. When he saw the light, he's afraid about the electricity at home for causing fire. He went back to unplug the electricity.
Iwamura went to search the homeless again, who is using other posters to "cure" women customers. He caught the homeless, which links to ep.6 when Yuta and other people went to check on the arguments. When homeless tried to escape, he bumped into a girl (who Yuta was going to date but ended up saved by long hair friend of his). Iwamura went to chase him again. He got the bag and almost got hit by a car. When he saw the tire to the car he remembered what Irabu said about breaking the tire to the boss of the hospital he got trouble. He went to chase the boss's car, who he saw someone chasing him, so he speed up. Then when Iwamura is almost got the car, the homeless chased him and the contents of the bag flew, which some got to the car window and caused accident. So... he helped capture the homeless from the papers flew out from the bag (illegal hospital records)
There's a report about Iwamura's doing and Irabu said now he will be famous. He suggested to have a person at home to ensure there's no fire, for example, a wife. He said impossible. He's working!
On the way, he realized he forgot his lighter, which would cause fire with sunlight?
He found a poster about student dorms and someone to care for...
The patient for next ep will be a actor who used to be an intelligent child actor. His action was so funny.

I ♥Two Syaorans from Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE and TRC!!!
I really liked this episode, but it lacked the heart-warming resolution that the others have had. It made up for that with the hilarious cross overs though.
hahaha..lol probably the funniest episode yet...my stomach hurts from too much laughin xD hmm..but it didn't really look like Irabu was helpin that guy..more like he was havin fun entertainin himself xD "let's loosen the bolts on his tires tomorrow"..now he wasn't actually plannin on doing that for real, was he?!?! and lol at the scene where the reporter was chasing the homeless dude and the director xD
ahahaa this ep was just too much fun...next ep seems interestin too^^
On a side note, for those who watched gg's subs, lol at that cat in the commercial.
That cat was soooo cute ^^
I didn't want to hurt you but you're pretty when you cry. I didn't really love you but I'm pretty when I lie.
Very good episode... Love ep. 7 better though.
I know that feeling that you did forgot somth important and get fixated on it. Hope it will not become obsessive. ^_^'
OMG I am begging to worry that I may have exactly the same problem as him. Sometimes when I leave hope I have the feeling I left the door open and go all the way back to double check
It's nice to see that the stories intersect in some way or another. Another great episode in general, cannot really find anything out of place. Guess, it is impossible to go wrong with Kenji Nakamura, lovin him and his works.
A simply hilarious episode. I wished the resolution was different or pulled off better.
The next episode looks REALLY interesting.
A patient who seems just as zany as Irabu.
Despite it being about a patient with yet another obssessive-compulsive disorder, this was a fun episode.
Though, I do feel sorry for anyone who has the same disorder as him. I know someone who had his social life ruined for an entire year because he was always worried that he might've forgotten something or not certain that he had done something right and ends up doing it over and over and yet, his worries are not put to rest. It wasn't until one day when he snapped and realized how he was wasting his life because of this.
Now we know every "random" scene in past episodes are actually overlap with future episodes. Chronologically, they all happen in the same time period....
bla bla bla
The endless debate between fans and haters. At one point, after spending a lot of time on MAL, you just realize it's totally pointless.
Niko-kun said: On MAL, everyone who has used the lame rating system becomes a critic and an intellectual by default, haven't you heard?
This patient was probably the one that I've pitied the most so far, so it was a little bit disappointing not to see a full resolution for him. Then again though, I suppose you could argue that that keeps it truest to real psychology since not all patient's problems will be resolved through treatment.
Must be a really pain in the ass if you've got such a problem, how could you live like that? Either way that ending sure was interesting! lets see what's next.
This was something I can somewhat relate, but at least I don't get such delusions of what might happen. And as always this anime took it to the extreme. That last delusion was amazing :D
Shame he didn't get cured in the end, but damn, what a hilarious episode it was.
So nothing's changed with his OCD in the end lol
Crazy episode with a weird wrap-up as always. Not really my thing but it was a decent watch.
Finally a new disorder next ep.
I can readily sympathize with the character in this episode. I make mental checklists about things when I leave home......but not to the extent that this fellow does. However I never got to become famous like he did....lol.
How exactly would you cure someone who despite doing all these labourious processes still managed to have their house catch on fire?
Jeez, talk about point of no return. Maybe that's why Irabu tried to put a positive spin on his disorder and try to make it less worrisome so he could ride out each of these episodes with less painful angst.
GreatRumbler said: The reporter chasing the homeless poet and then the hospital director was the best scene of the series so far. Just flat-out hysterical!
Plus there's this music playing around when they're at the public WC. I love that.
This episode definitely scored in the comedy aspect! From Irabu's antics to the chase scene at the end, it was highly entertaining to watch! I really enjoy the series so far, it can be both serious and informative, but also whacky and weird or anything in-between. It's great!
There are def varying degrees of this. I have a terrible, terrible habit with locking my car and checking the doors a dozen times and parking absolutely perfect. Some people get annoyed with it.
I've done similar things when I was in school... and still do things like check samples a dozen times before leaving work.
I suppose the big difference is I can try to walk my brain through it when I notice it happening. I'll make sure I'm standing right there, checking with every ounce of observation, and refuse to let myself drive back to work etc. after I left even if I'm anxious.
