| This season is already giving Yukio an important role and investigating into Saburo Todo and the Illuminati. Rin's class is also busy with their own task. What's interesting is Izumo and her relationship with Shimei this episode. She remembers their time together and how much she helped her. Very interested to see how their relationship develop this season since their personalities are so contrasting with another. |

| Didn't catch it in the last episode, but they mixed things up a bit, so yeah, it feels a tad off. Yukio, the twin brother of Rin and a first-class exorcist, is summoned to the senior meeting of the True Cross Order for an inquiry about Saburota Todo, the mastermind behind the resurrection of the Impure King. Skeptical of the ominous atmosphere, Yukio recalls the words of his late foster father, Shiro. Meanwhile, the candidates are assigned the task of exterminating the Toilet Mucus, but Izumo harbors a certain resentment towards Shiemi. You know what, that OP really grew on me, especially when they paired it with the visuals. I don't have high hopes for the anime looking that good, but the visuals are pretty awesome – except for the art style, which still doesn't do it for me. The ED is pretty chill I guess. This time around, instead of skipping stuff, they added more and skipped less than the last episode, although there were still some minor omissions. Cool Tar is presented like this ethereal demon – not a big deal when there are just a few, but when they gather in large numbers, it becomes quite troublesome. The movie gave that explanation, so I guess the movie is technically canon. Still, it was pretty dull. It seems like they're gearing up for the next arc by focusing more on Izumo, considering the next arc is related to her, if I recall correctly. Mephisto remains the biggest mystery in this anime for me. Also, was that Todo at the end? I'm guessing the next episode will kick off the actual Shimane Illuminati arc. |

| At this point in the manga, I kind of felt bad for Yukio. He seems to have a lot of responsibility thrown at him and has to look after Rin. Leave it to Shima to be excited about this next assignment: the girl's bathroom. Thought that the Evil Ghost was created from all the smack talk and gossip in the bathroom. The collider scene reminded me of Spiderverse. With that last scene, I'm looking forward to the next episode. On another note, having UverWorld back doing the OP with that saxophone 🔥. |

| Loads to unpack here. Yuki summoned to Vatican to give an opinion but really he isn't dumb, he knows they just want him to sign a contract IN BLOOD so he keeps their secrets. I hate organizations that tell you nothing while expecting you to work for them and give your life, it's just counter productive. Their new mission is to exorcise a ghost in the girl's toilet, that only appears before girls so the 2 girls have to work together, which is a problem for eyebrows tsundere. Let's just say at the end, I was Laughing my ass off at the guy's backup plan, just like the girls. The super collider messing with physics reminds me of a "religious fiction" novel by Dan Brown, where the Vatican wanted to shut stuff down because CERN (Swiss research lab) managed to make a "God Particle." Stranger things have happened ... but if they did nobody would tell the general public about it, right? Thus conspiracy theory sites, anime and speculative fiction novels. |

| Its a bit rough after being gone for all these years picking it up again and trying to remember about the anime. But its slowly coming back to me. I wonder if the pacing is done this way to try and get you back into it again as well... |
| Poor Rin and his one-sided love </3... Seeing Izumi getting closer to Shiemi, albeit slowly, is nice. Hopefully, this season will bring them even closer. |

| Lightning out here playing 5-D chess and no one will even know about it until 2, maybe 3 seasons from now. Takara and Shima looked the best in drag IMO. |

| Damn today I realised that it was UVERworld's song for Opening 💙 I thought Mephisto's ability was revealed without much hype and all but at the end it looked quite cool. Seems like from next episode this arc is going to get into action, looking forward to it. |

| Shiemi is absolutely beautiful, but I don't like that she is the love interest of Rin , because she clearly likes Yukio, they fit way better for each other. But Izumo is the best girl here anyways so I really don't care. Only 2 episodes but this is already WAY better than the shit-ass Kyoto arc. |
