Subs are out. This TV special focused on both Noel and Ninny and what their daily life is like. There's chemistry between the two girls in the episode and we get to see Tite Kubo's style of humor added in for the dialogues. Lol, there's even a Dragonball reference in there with that ringtone. I got some mixed feelinga bout Balgo in this episode though. He's protrayed as a comic relief character even as he got into some major trouble with the supernatural. Luckily, Noel and Ninny were there to save the day. The episode special is overall fun to watch for the character chemistry imo. |

Finally, the One-Shot has been animated! It's weird though. While this happens first chronologically and appears first in the manga, I think this anime prequel works better seeing it after the original anime. Though I might retract that statement after I rewatch the original Burn the Witch later. It's not even that this didn't do a good job introducing the characters and the world, it's just that the original anime did it better. Though again, I might change that opinion after my rewatch. The animation I think was much better for this special. There were a lot fewer janky moments which plagued the original, which is easy when it's only 1 episode. Still, Colorido did a great job all around. Noel is still my favorite of the two and has the best scenes, but Ninny has her moments as well. Balgo is still not much of a character by himself. The world itself is very interesting and raises so many questions, which hopefully we get answers to one of these days. Hopefully more Burn the Witch content comes in the future. Stark700 said: Don't forget about the Sailor Moon reference, haha. I enjoyed that one much more considering they are technically magical girls.Lol, there's even a Dragonball reference in there with that ringtone. |

It's a good episode, just like the one that released 3 years ago. But they can't keep serving me an appetizer dish when what I want is a full-course meal. I want a full 2-cour anime as a starting point of this franchise. No need to create manga first, just goes directly to the anime. |

This is what cinema looks like. And it broke Crunchyroll. A short but spectacularly sweet way to end 2023. Props to Studio Colorido, team Yamahitsuji, and Tite Kubo; their initiative in presenting Burn the Witch as a stylish piece of media through every promotional material to the product itself was impressively executed. This was a passion project by the staff that elevated the source material, and it's heartening to see both Bleach and BtW receive such treatment today. BtW is finally complete in adaptation with Ch 0 getting an anime with the same but noticeably amped beautiful art direction and animation as the 2020 three-piece movie that adapted Ch 1-4. 9/10 and into my favorites. This was just 30 minutes of charming fanservice for fans of Bleach like myself. #0.8 also works better as an aesthetic standalone piece than the sequel due to its more contained story and superior pacing. |

this was funny and pleasant to the eye. guess it's time to rewatch the sequel because I don't really remember what happens next. also for some reason I gave it a very low rating back when I watched it for the first time.. |

The movie was actually much much better than this, not in terms of animation, but storywise. I don't remember Balgo being such a creep. God, he is awful. Hated every moment he was on screen. The girls were fine i guess. |

I was impressed that they used a Dragon ball song, but then Sailor Moon at the end too. That's some money investment for a OVA. SS West Branch feel more simple to enter and more fun to live in. Noel is very cute when she loses her cool. |

Balgo should have gotten the death penalty. Pretty fun prequel with some solid animation and voice work. Unfortunately it’s still probably going to be a while before any more Burn the Witch which is a shame because there’s potential in the series there just needs to be more of it. |

Animation, sound, scenes, everything was amazing. Loved how they connected so much that was just taken for granted in the 3 first episodes like why dragons are prohibited, what happens if a human makes contact or so on. Even scenes from the original ED had scenes in this prequel episode. I think Tite Kubo cooked a really nice, compelling and interesting magical world which this series and I hope we get to see more of it once Bleach TYBW anime is finished. Watched the first 3 episodes before watching this and man... it's so good. It's a shame there's currently no more material to play with. But here's a very interesting IP. Come on Tite, I belive in you! You can do it! (Again!) PD: I lost my sheet when the dragon ball resume theme kicked in haha. BTW, was that Sailor Moon on the last call? |

Alongside Studio Colorido's 2020 3-parter movie showing of Tite Kubo's Burn the Witch, finally comes the one-shot #0.8 Chap 0 prequel 3 years later! Damn, we're so back with Noel and Ninny as Wing Bind's dragon witch hunters after watching the 2020 movie, and although this chronologically comes first, it expects you to have already watched the film before to get acquainted with everything thus far. As for Balgo, he's the delusional kind with dog Osushi...who wants to see Noel's panties, what the heck dude. Itherwise, this is pretty much the daily life of the duo in their quest for promotion to being Sabres. While both girls are harvesting grapes with Niiha's ringtone being a Dragon Ball reference, the extermination job of Osushi's soul extracted and turned into a dragon...it wants to follow under Balgo's wishes as a Disguiser. But even Balgo's childhood friend Selby is also a Disguiser who wants to eat a witch to become immortal, which in the context of Balgo, a cool but unrefined character who is a dragonclad after being bitten by Selby. Also, yet another Sailor Moon ringtone reference as Ninny gets heated with Niiha being on the front page. But still, you can count on both girls to get any job done...if the money's prevalent. It's fun to have more Burn the Witch content, and Studio Colorido redeemed themselves from the 2020 movie with better production values. |

Oh my gosh, I didn’t know that this was going to be released today. The dragon ball reference got me. Also the Sailor Moon one. Anyhow, I’m really looking forward to a full season of this show. It has a lot of potential, and the characters are very likeable. My only issue is the whole pantie thing, but I guess that's their running joke. |

Okay, that ended up being shorter than I expected but it was fun, so I'll take it. We need more Burn the Witch content, though! Damn, they went ahead and actually killed the dragon. Baigo took that way too well, but hey, if this means getting a week each with one of the girls, I suppose that ain't too bad. This is how fanservice is meant to be, solid 7/10! |

I'm so disappointed, I can't believe Kubo himself created such a bad character and decided to give them such an important role in the series. Balgo aside, really enjoyed this one, love the chemistry between Niiha and Ninny, the animation was really good too. Also, Niiha using DBZ and SM as ringtones was such a nice touch! I hope we get to see more of this once Kubo finishes the TYBW adaptation, I'd rather take this over a new Bleach arc tbh. 7/10, because of that annoying character. |

I don't blame homie for wanting to see them panties. Ending or opening was pretty good. Hopefully we get a full blown series. The world building is good as well like disguisers that's pretty creative and the dragons that are disguiser they must be dedicated especially if they have to put up with blonde hair like that. |

The animation and the entire presentation of this #0.8 episode is so much better than the 2-episode main story. It's got a lot of dynamic camera movements that made this episode look even crazier. Ninny and Noel are both cuties! As if the Dragon Ball recap music being inserted into the episode wasn't enough, they even surprised me with the inclusion of the Sailor Moon opening theme! Hahaha! Both have been used as the mobile phone's ringtones. Both of these music.....so nostalgic! xD |

I sense that Kubo wanted the audience to like Balgo but I...did not. He was more creepy than funny, detracting from what was a great showing. This felt like a passion project. The world is alive, down to the finest details and the animation was great. I really liked every other character of the show, including the antagonist despite the brief screen time. Suffice to say, you've got my attention. |

Surprisingly enough, this was actually really good... I hated the other Burn the Witch, thought it was absolutely trash so this really surprised me. Good job Kubo. Could definitely do without Balgo though, easily the worst character in the Bleach-verse. Noeĺe and Ninny were cool though, hopefully we get a manga and full anime at some point |

This is such an appealing pilot im incredibly frustrated that Kubo has kind of been stuck with the bleach production instead of expanding on this. The idea of a bunch of dragons hiding amongst corpses in london is such a great premise with loads of potential and I really dig the main characters dynamcs and Noel is a cool protag so far. Balgo is kind of annoying but also kind of funny cause hes annoying so its kind of a mixed bag there but i could warm up to him. |

@Richlord This is an adaption of the one-shot from 2018 whereas the other anime is adapting the content from 2020, even though this anime is newer its actually the first chronological one that sets up the other. |

I liked that they showed us how Noel & Ninny met Balgo, And about Balgo's childhood friend Shelby was a disguiser(a dragon) and that the real Shelby died seven years old while rescuing his friend Balgo, And Balgo say that if that true then that mean the fake Shelby lived more than the real Shelby and Balgo said: "that you were kind to me so I can't abandon you". The disguiser said "if that so then die". When the disguiser tried to kill Balgo Noel came and helped Balgo and said "you were slightly cool Balgo". and then she killed The dragon and went back to the reverse Landon with ninny but then they surprise that Balgo will stay with them because he is a dragonclad(because the disguiser bite him during the fight when he tried to save Ninny). I liked the story so far, and I loved when they showed us Noel's ringtone being Dragon ball's theme(because I am Dragon ball fan so I loved that part). |
