Anyways, the mood of this series can really change quite a bit. I think Sata's words made quite an impact there. Yeah, I feel kinda bad for Erika this episode until Sata was able to cheer her up again. |

| Christmas... She wants to spend time with Kuro ouji but he doesn't seem to like it. She actually likes to be treated as a dog!? He's been accompanying her. He said such cruel things (to play on her feelings), which is too much that she acts like she doesn't like Christmas. Or probably he really like her (fond of her) as his pet... because he gave her necklace. Valentine's day. |

| This series is extremely unpopular in Japan. Just now, I checked out the Amazon Stalker points to see whether or not people are placing preorders for the Blu-rays and the DVDs. They are not. I am seeing the lowest forecasts that I can ever remember seeing.** I have a regular habit of looking up the "Amazon Stalker points" to gauge the popularity of a series, including how it varies from episode to episode. Another measure of the popularity of a series is to look for online discussions among Japanese fans. But I am not finding any in the usual places. Usually, it is pretty easy to find discussion boards where fans post still images that they like, quite often simultaneously as they are actually watching the episode while it is airing in Tokyo. | That was quite the roller coaster episode! Erika wanting to confirm how Kyouya feels about her. T.T Kyouya saying he loved her and Erika was really happy to the point she cried. Then Kyouya says it was a lie. Erika wanting to give up on Kyouya after what happened then Kyouya comes to visit. The "collar" was a really cute necklace. Can't wait till the time when Kyouya would stop being mean to this level. Teasing is fine and all but that was too much :( Wonder what reason that causes him to act the way he does! Perhaps he loves her and just can't admit it? :) |

| I hate Christmas & I'm glad an anime character agrees with me. I knew Kyouya was trolling, he's petty as hell. I don't even feel bad for Erika since she's willing to put up with him. So gullible. | I guess the more attractive person in a relationship have a comparative advantage in everything... Sata can do mean things and be forgiven. If Sata is not as good-looking as he is, he will probably be dumped right away. Such is life. Some of you may consider this type of behavior offensive, but it's certainly not limited to men, and certainly happens not only in anime. If Erika has Sata's level of popularity in boys and Sata is as "plain" as Erika, in other words, when the situation is reversed, the same thing could easily happen, except that it would be Erika torturing Sata. |

| The punchline to Kyouya acting nice was so obvious but damn was that an ass move from him <_< Poor Erika. And she he goes and buys her a present XD It's really tough to know wtf this guy is thinking. |

| I really can't understand how so many people seem offended by this anime in believing that sata is abusing erika o.o It's just a romance/comedy anime! Everything is fiction and nothing more .. additionally sata is not really abusing her he is rather teasing her and testing her endurance I think. A lot of anime are more abusive towards women because they constantly picture them as the victim and showing them oversexualized and stuff |

| This reminds me of Marmalade Boy a lot, but it's not as grand maybe. The visuals are sweet and the OP&ED are pretty great. I also like the dominant male lead, since most shonen rom coms nowadays have whiny chibis instead. |

| This is probably one of my favorite shoujo anime I've watched in a while. You know why? Because the characters are not perfect. Yes, Kyouya can be one hell of an asshole. Yes, Erika can be gullible and simple-minded as fk. But that's part of what makes this so engaging to watch. Personally, I empathize with Erika a lot more than I figured I would, especially in the way she seeks to idealize her world and make everything perfect. Character flaws make for interesting explorations and commentary on the human condition in such media as anime. And particularly in the case of Kyouya, the mystery of figuring out what kind of a person he truly is becomes quite intriguing. There is both a genuineness and sickeningly harsh nature about him, that it's hard to figure out what his game and personality really are. No, this isn't a perfect love story. Yes, there is manipulation and deceit going on here, and yes I felt like socking Kyouya in the mouth at various times throughout this episode. Yet there is a genuineness and complexity to it that I don't generally find in the genre. And honestly, all this just demonstrates how engaged I am in this little drama. Add in the comedy, which is also quite amusing at times, and this is honestly becoming one of the anime this season that I look forward to the most every week. |

| Hmm, I feel like I've been becoming jaded over the years. I love shoujo anime with a passion, truly I do. I am a SUCKER for anime romance. But this one just doesn't sit right with me. There's a difference between teasing, and going completely out of your way to hurt someone. What he did was deceitful and then for him to demand an apology... I would have tossed him on his ass outside my door faster then you would believe. How can someone supposedly care for someone, and then do something like that to them? Say things like that? It was cruel, plain and simple. When you "tease", you do so to provoke a reaction, not make them cry. Ugh. It's just really rubbing me the wrong way. He's a bully and this relationship just bothers me. But at the same time, she chooses to go back to him every time, so it's her own fault. I just hope they somehow end up happy. |

| I think the reason she decides not to give up on him is because she starts having flashbacks of times where he was nice to her. starting with, "you're my girlfriend. shut up and be protected." she describes him as "half-hearted" in being kind, which is pretty spot on. There are hints of caring for her despite his cruel actions and words. even if they are small, that's what she's hanging on to. and no one said love was rational anyways. I remember her friend saying in the last episode that you can't help who you fall for. in this episode she even says "why did I fall for this guy?" it's easy to say to just dump him, but she can't. that's not what her heart wants. |
