Has anyone else gotten bored of one piece

I caught up almost 5 years ago and watched the series on and off. But I haven't watched an episode for 2 years now, I'm not sure why exactly but I just can't be bothered to even after having have watched over 1000 episodes.

yes, Manga is really exciting. Maybe a little too fast for me, because so much storytelling is being done in each chapter.
Can't wait for next chapter, always on a cliffhanger.

@TransferUser Good choice, I regret ever investing so much time into it. It's unlikely I'll continue either, I'll probably just look up what the one piece is when it finally ends after 10 years lol.

It has been boring since the Fish-Man Island arc which started somewhere at episode 517 or so. Before that, it was quite enjoyable in my opinion.
But it's less than 20 minutes of your life each week, sometimes there's a break with no episode that week so it's not that hard or painful to continue watching.
Can't believe they actually re-made that crappy arc during this 6-ish month break.

I've definitely gotten bored of these short and sour eps Toei puts out. I come back every few years or so to binge the last arc. I can easily say that's the most comfortable approach for this elongated adaption.

There might be some reasons-

1. You've been watching it for a very long time, anything watching for a long time can cause boredom. Take a break after wano & watch it again when the ending is close.

2. You might not be a weekly watcher, there are many people like you. Some people tend to enjoy a show most when they binge it.

3. Or something bad is going on in your life which you need to give more attention to. Take a break again.

4. You might've watched it for the hype, now that the anime isn't currently airing you might not be feeling it.

Trust in Oda. He is the only guy who can bring out something special from ridiculous. Besides, in the latest chapter we saw a nika form that exactly looks like blackbeard. So, there is a theory that ongoing nika is kind of like a symbol that might not only be owned by luffy.

Caught up past wano after 2 years and just felt burnt out. I really enjoyed wano so much, but it has been a long journey. I don’t have any want to watch egghead right now, so I am going to wait once this arc finishes to start it. I think I will continue this cycle up until the end. Just wait for an arc to finish then watch it.
