Why do your responses sound like ChatGPT, then? Suspicious.
Now why would you think that if I make this disclosure:
I'm on the autism spectrum!!! I was also diagnosed with ADD as a kid too.
Don't tell me you never had any friends or relatives that are on the autism spectrum or was diagnosed with ADHD? How did you think I was suspicious of you having autism or ADHD (assuming you're telling the truth) if I didn't know how to spot people with autism?
Oh and before you say "I don't believe you, or you can't be autistic!!!" to me. Well, what do you think autistic people looked like, Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man? Nope, autism can look like this:
And yes, a person can get an autism diagnosed late in adulthood:
How do you think I trained my autistic self to spot autistic people even one that had undiagnosed autism? That's why when you wrote this:
that I fast forward through the boring parts
That's usually a red flag for autism or even ADHD. People who are autistic or have ADHD a lot of time can't stand something or are very sensitive to smallest stuff, skipping a boring part in a good anime usually indicate sensitivity to smallest details. That is usually a sign of autism (or probably ADHD).
That is why I asked you if you have autism or ADHD, when you wrote that you skipped/fast forward the boring part, I know that could be an indicator of autism, maybe an undiagnosed autism. Do you understand now?
I better hope you're not lying to me. If you're autistic or even ADHD but you're too scared to reveal it because you faced discrimination (I'm already aware of discrimination toward neurodivergent exist), then I don't blame you if you have to train yourself to lie and say no to anyone that asked you this question.
I don't ruled out the possibility you may have a undiagnosed autism or ADHD (yes, it does exist. A person who never received a proper psychological examination as a child can have a undiagnosed autism and/or ADHD. It can happened).
Just because other people like it I need to like it, too? What kind of logic is that.
Other people on MAL or whoever is looking at your profile and your anime list can probably perceive you as autistic or ADHD. Hell, I have to assume people are probably looking at your comments and my comments and they may agree with me that you're strange and may assume you have autism or ADHD (they won't care if you were diagnosed or undiagnosed). The fact that you admitted you skip over the boring part and put good anime titles (even one that is critically acclaimed) on the dropped section of your list and giving it a low score may strengthen that autism/ADHD perceivement from MAL users and other people reading this comments.
I don't, but the way you give good anime even with good storyline a bad or low rating makes me question your judgement on how you determine which is anime and which is not. Hence why I can't take you seriously.
The talking parts aren't necessarily the boring parts in an anime. Anything in an anime can be either entertaining or boring. Take Kill La Kill for example. I don't think there were any lingering scenes in that nonstop action anime. I still found it incredibly boring. Conversely, I don't think Mushishi had any action, yet I found it to be entertaining.
You are a weird one, and I want to ask you this...
My free time is too precious to waste it on anime that do not entertain me.
Here's my question after reading this part: Do you have ADHD? Are you on the autism spectrum? If you are, then I can't no longer argue with you on what's anime and what's not anime argument/debate because you have a warped view on that and people on ADHD or some kind of form of autism, you can't changed that person's view, and I can't change your view no matter what. And please don't lie to me that you don't have autism or ADHD, I can spot people who are on the spectrum and judging by the way you said you skipped over the scene even in good and critically acclaimed anime. That sometime the sign that you may have a form of ADHD.
I fail to see what you mean. If an anime is entertaining I rate it highly. When it is boring I rate it lowly. That's all there is to it.
I was referring to your double standard on how you view what is anime, and what is not. But again, if you're a neurodivergent whether you're autistic or have ADHD. Then I'll end the debate because I can't convince you or cannot get you to agree with me because your views are too ingrained no matter how many evidence I can show you. You can't changed my mind because my views are not only reasonable, but I did enough research to know how to distinguish anime, and what's not.
Everyone's taste in anime are different and comparison is the thief of joy.
I don't judge people by the way they watch anime, but for you to argue which title should be anime and which is not and at the same time give classic titles like Lupin the Third, and Horus a 1 on your score and dropping it makes me question your judgement and your qualification to determine which is anime and which is not.
For me "dropping" means that I fast forward through the boring parts, so I usually get to the end of any anime I drop.
Again, how can you watch and tolerate and even judge anime if you can't handle the boring part. Again, I question your judgement of removing Afro Samurai from MAL's database but allowing Cipher to be on the database despite both of them have no Japanese dialogue spoken on there.
Also, I find the fast forwarding through the boring parts comment ironic and I looked at your list and you don't have Street Fighter 2: the anime film on your list. Were you aware that the US unrated release (before Discotek's full uncut release) had the lingering or "boring" scene cut down/remove on there:
review of SF2 anime film said: When the film hit the states, it premiered on VHS and Laserdisc, the former giving the buyer a choice of which version they wanted: the UNRATED version for the older teens, and a PG-13 version for the younger Street Fighter fans. This is the version that is presented here.
As per the usual, the PG-13 cut removes most of the blood, the language that would give the UK version some infamy and the most controversial and hated removal of all fans: Chun-li nude.
You would think that would be it, but there was more cut from this and the UNRATED American version. Any shot that lingers for than three frames was cut. There is a scene where Ryu and Fei Lung part ways. Fei Lung watches Ryu leave, says something, and then walks away. The camera then lingers on Ryu as he walks further and further away. This last part was cut.
As time went on though, there were rumors that there was additional violence, gore, language, and nudity. We were right about the language (the U.K. version had a few F-bombs added to get the rating that would help the film sell) and the nudity (the Japanese version had the full scene).
We were wrong about the violence and gore, but there was something that we didn’t even think about. As I stated in the section about the PG-13 cut, many scenes were cut down to shorten the run time. These cuts were from scenes that had too much lingering. The thought was that American audiences didn’t care about the character development and that they just wanted to get to the action and to see all of the characters from the game.
Does that mean you agree with the US distributor cutting out the "boring" part of this particular anime film when it first came out since you said it yourself, you fast forward through the boring part? Do you agree with the US distributor cutting out the lingering scene?
How on earth can you be an anime fan if you can't handle the boring part? That's why I question your reply post on the LOTR: War of the Rohirrim thread and after seeing your list and your questionable score and also you admitting that you fast forward through the boring part, and put dropped on there. Dropping an anime means you no longer watch that anime because it didn't appeal to you not to say that you fast forward a boring part and give it a 1 on your score. This is why I question your qualification on how you determine what's anime to you and what's not.
P.S: I found it offensive that you would give After The Rain a 4 on your score!!! An anime which has a good story, and a wonderful animation and yet you fast forward the part that didn't appeal to you. I can say the same for Terror in Resonance, you gave it a 2 while you give Death Note a 9. You really really frustrate me with your double standard.
What the hell??? You dropped Horus, Prince of the Sun and give it a 1??? And I can't believe you give Lupin the Third: The Castle of Cagliostro a 1 and you also dropped it too. I would question your qualification of how you classified which is anime, and which is not given the way you give 2 classic titles a 1 and dropping both of them.
S1 still is miles better despite being an rushed worse version of the manga. Production value and performances carries a lot + still a somewhat coherent story.
Root A is a boring snoozefest who deviates greatly from the source material becoming the biggest piece of dogshit I've ever seen.
Not even the terrible :re seasons were as bad as Root A

What??? No way!!! But since you brought it up, I would like to know if you used ChatGPT when you talked to me or on the forum, well, did you???
