Don't get me wrong, i've been fan of Bleach for 15+ year but basically every TYBW Bleach fight just goes like this:
-Character A start doing some crazy combo on B, B has a surprised Pikachu face during the combo
-Character A finishes the combo with a big explosion, thinks he won
-Character B either appears behind A back or just get up and basically say "you thought this was all what i got?", A does a surprised Pikachu face
-Character B start his revenge combo on A, A keeps the surprised Pikachu face
-Character B finishes the combo with a big final explosion, thinks he won
-Character A either appears behind B back or just get up and basically say "you also thought this was all what i got?", B surprised Pikachu face
-Character A starts his revenge combo with a big final explosion, B with a surprised Pikachu face, but this time A wons
And don't forget, during the fight characters would be constantly shit talking about how they're more powerful than the other. I wish Kubo could write something different in fights (and i know this is a original but Kubo is heavily involved with the anime), but i guess, put some good animation on it and no one even notices lol

| @Shinuki_n_Reborn You just described a lot of shonen anime. It's difficult to make decisions that might upset the reader or viewer. You gotta realize that Japan is notorious for attacking manga writers, or anyone in general. |
| Okay episode. I must say I progressively get less and less thrill out of these fights and the abilities used. Crazy power spikes, explosions, the same Quincy abilities - quite the repetitive formula. "Gottcha" "No, I gottcha" but "Haha, I double-gottcha" then someoneelse joins the fight and takes revenge for whomever. And who could have foreseen Renji loosing like he always does. At least his updated Bankai rocked in terms of aesthetics. The homefield advantage was not as drastic as they talked it up tobe. Ishida using spirit particles as a booost is sth. that could have also happened in Seiretei. I am really hopeful we see sth. even more impressive. Every bit of dialogue and interaction between characters as with Kurotsuchi and Zaraki this episode was very entertaining though. The fact that the shinigami invaded and Shunsui didn't pay attention where his two aces were is hilarious. Good thing Kurotsuchi is in the mood to gather some reasearch samples and Zaraki was quick to jump to action. Askin Nakk doing his thing was also funny to watch - semi-serious as per usual and mostly lookin to stayin alive. He's got my sympathy with everybody else here being eager to fight to the death. |

| Askin is one funny and cheeky fellow. Grimmjow has never learned of his recklessness. The Uryu and Renji fight was super well done. Even though Renji lost, he shined in a few moments in that fight. |

| @Gator Not lucky, if you've read the manga Ishida just has a more relevant role in the future of the series, so Renji's defeat here was mandatory. Still it was a good fight, I like how they managed to make they fight with new powers rather than just use techniques etc we already know, which is a typical filler thing. Renji 'easily' defeated Mask with his new Bankai, Ishida is a Shuzstaffel so superior to Mask, it would've been bad to see the same match. It really seem Tite Kubo is behind this re-writing sort-of - of the show, can't wait to see more. Next episode seems to be Ken-chan + Mayuri which was super cool in the manga, same for Urahara and Shunsui. I hope they will manage well the fight of Byakuya VS Gerald and the various fights again Haschwalt, which were kind of 'skipped' in the manga. 4/5 episode to me, maybe the best of this 3rd 1000y season so far. The only thing I didn't liked much was the goofy race of Grimmjow etc, not a fan of this NERD-humor, goofiness in Bleach was cool in older chapters and specific situations to me, as a Inoue doing naive stuff or Rukia teasing Ichigo etc. I think this new season is finally becoming interesting, it happened the same with 2nd one and maybe 1st, boring episodes them a good second half. |

| Really cool fights, but I was definitely reminded of old school shounen where the tension died based on who was fighting who. Uryu is protected by plot armor. Nothing Renji could do would be helpful. And because Quincy powers make no sense & can just be whatever they need to be in the moment, all that hard work & training Renji did was going to amount to nothing in the end. After all those massive attacks & direct hits, Uryu was basically unscathed, rose up from the ground & just pulled out another variation of "fire lots of arrows" ftw! Definitely don't miss this side of shounen, but not enough to dislike the episode. Still great seeing these characters animated in such fun battles. |

| Damn Ishida counting shinigami bodies like crazy man, I don't now what to expect now with all this new development since it's Kubo's vision how he really wanted to draw it if he wasn't rushed during the serialization, will see how it goes. Next Mayuri vs Pernida, this is a good one boysssss |

| geez, this Grimmjow chase scene was so incredible dull. Apparently it was played for laughs, but for me it fell completely flat. And while him destroying the poisoned ball rather than dodging it is completely in-character, it was embarassing to see him go down like it. Also I can't in the slightest sympathize or even empathize with Uryuu. He displays absolutely no charisma or personality. And maybe being this cold-blooded killer now, driven by revenge, is exactly the point, but I'm just not enjoy watching him. The fight with Renji was still spectacular. |
| This is why I love Mayuri lol. Though it's a difficult start, some other ones are just getting sniped and killed like that. Now Renji vs Uryuu f*cking delivered, it was awesome, even though Renji couldn't make it because Uryuu is too OP at this point |
