I watched season 3 and 4 of Tokyo ghoul it was torture, but i did it to have right to roast it anytime when someone asks about it XD
And i did it with MHA 4
And rewatched Black Butler two seasons because i couldnt believe how bad the adaptation is (not following manga ta all), but it was for fun
All these things made me no patient for future bad animes.
Thanks for the comment. I like your taste too.I've heard the definition of Yuri on Ice before and have just started watching this anime. The first episode was very good, I hope it will continue like this.

Hey man, I'm glad that you're starting to enjoy the series again.
I've seen your thoughts on the show. God damn, will you bloody well love this next cour.
I promise you that, absolutely from the bottom of my heart (Unless the studio behind the anime takes liberties on the story).
1.Thorfinn Id argue is a great protagonists so far, and he gets more interesting as the series goes on but I won't spoil. Given that he was a child those moments when he was a child ( which show him acting like a child) and that contrast with him grown up , showcases nuance with characterization and development more so than askeladd at the moment I would argue , askeladd may be cooler but thorfin is more established as of now, with regards to his characterization. His obsession with wanting to battle askeladd makes sense given their history.
2. I think here you're referring to an inconsistency with tone as apposed to theme. The anime is being alot cause there is alot to the story, there are serious battles coupled with character interactions and the shift with humor helps the story to not be overly brooding and monotonous, helps to emphasize the variety of emotions in shows interactions as those humor moments are in different context to the serious ones. The fighting of non characters is not fully realistic I would argue but you are right in the sense that there is a clear power gap in the characters , this is to establish a power scale in the characters and I don't see an issue with this as long as the characters carry out feats that they have been established to be capable of which they have.
The show takes itself seriously when it needs to and is lighter when the context demands it.
