I hope 2024 brings you lots of love, laughter and joy <3
Happy New Year!!!
I noticed yesterday that your location says Netherlands. I was wondering where you might be from from because we've been in regular communication for a while now. As for me, my current location is Northern England, and I'm a British citizen, but I am also half Middle East ethnicity. Some people might think I look 100% Middle East, and other people won't think I look it at all, but like somewhere else completely different. Just to let you know a little bit about the person behind the Rukia mask - yeah, I'll fess up, it isn't my real face or a lifelike drawing :)
Carnival Phantasm and the Grand Order version are still on my PTW list. Also, I just realized I haven't seen the Grand Order movie yet, and there's also a Fate Babylonia spin-off movie. Mash was a likeable/nice character so I don't mind seeing more of her. Have you got to the end of Fate/Extra yet? I'm interested to her your opinion about it because it can be a divisive one.
Yeah, I would say Ichigo Kurosaki was more mature than his shounen rivals. What about Meliodas from 7 Deadly Sins though? Hahahahaha. Seriously though, Shippuden era Naruto was more mature than how he started out a the very beginning of the story (he still eats ultra spicy ramen for breakfast though), and he was probably at a similar level to (first series Bleach) Ichigo as Shippuden reached the halfway mark. And what about Boruto? By that time Naruto is working 9 - 5 in the office, plus overtime, and doesn't even have sufficient free time to spend quality moments with his wife and kids. I mean, that's as 'mature' as you could possibly want to get lol. Asta from Black Clover didn't seem too bad in the English dub but he lacks the charm and likeability of Naruto or Gon (from HxH). I've only seen 20 episodes of Black Clover so maybe it's too early for me to be able to give a firm and definitive opinion.
It was great to see Rukia finally get her moment in the spotlight with the latest Bleach episode. It kinda made it worth sticking with the Rukia avatar for all this time. Hopefully she'll get more attention in upcoming Bleach episodes and become one of the key players in the overall story by the very end of this arc. The visuals in the latest episode were really impressive/outstanding and has set the bar for battle shounens. I didn't know Pierott had the capabilities to do something as amazing as that. Also, how cool is that opening sequence, with the hard rocking tune and the characters in a different context and setting like that.
Agent of the Shinigami arc? Which one is that again? Is sounds to me like it might be the very first arc, where Rukia gives Ichigo her powers. How would you rank Bleach arcs? I'm anime only and it's been ages since I've seen some of them, but from past memories I'd say:
1. Arrancar/Hueco Mundo/Battle of Karakura and Arrancar Downfall arc
(this combined very long arc can be overly protracted in places but has some epic peak moments and interesting antagonists)
2. The Soul Society arc (a great starter arc and introduction to the Gorei 13, I was really enthralled 12 years ago)
3. TYBW arc (an estimation on what I've seen so far, this has the potential to go higher or lower)
4. Turn Back the Pendulum arc (short but a real delight, and you got to see the old Captains and the origin of the Vizords)
5. Zanpakuto Rebellion arc (anime only but a lot of fun and Muramasa was an interesting antagonist you almost felt sorry for)
6. New Captain Amagai arc (an entertaining filler arc and self-contained story, and Princess Rurichiyo was cute)
7. Agent of the Shinigami/Substitute Shinigami (the very first arc and anime season, I liked seeing a nice amount of Rukia)
8. Fullbringer/Lost Agent arc (I've only seen this once so would like to rewatch it, it had a totally different vibe from the others)
9. The Invading Army arc
(it's a bit lame when they use the 'fighting mirror images of themselves' trope - with the Gotei 13, but it was still OK overall)
10. The Bount arc (the 3 mascot mod-soul characters were amongst the highlights lol)
And the watch order ahahahaha
Ooii noww Bleach is too peak man omfg like Kubo is getting his manga done justice like ppl wouldn’t imagine this shit is happening right now!! Whoooshhh nahh but Kenpachi next ep?! 💀💀 ppl aint ready.
Yhh been reading one punch man for a long time still, yhh the manga is pretty good art is amazing shit is next level man. Should defo check it out. Still waiting for s3 😂 got announced & shit.
Ahh yhh, but yh Zom 100 has been pretty enjoyable so far, would recommend to see if u like it or nah.
Yhh am doing good man, same for u too! Atm, have to give it to Bleach but … when Shibuya arc starts being animated end of august for JJK … my opinion is gonna change still hahaa.
I have been enjoying Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, the animation is pretty good though the new art style is going take getting used to but it's all good the material is pretty solid I love the hidden inventory arc Toji's a wicked character and its' cool getting to see Geto as a good guy and the ending to episode 3 was pretty wild the way the cheery music abruptly cut off still made the moment shocking even though I knew what was going to happen, gives me hope that the Shibuya arc will be good.
Yes, I do intend to read the rest of Vinland saga, might put it on the back burner for a bit as I want finish collecting the Hunter x Hunter and Kaguya-sama:Love is war manga's but I should be caught up with Vinland saga by the time season 3 comes out.
Anime wise I've been watching Kaguya-sama:Love is war which has been pretty good, I like the manga but the anime really elevates the source material the sound effects and voice acting do a great job of exaggerating things to make the scenes funnier once Im finished that I'm thinking of going for another comedy maybe GTO or grand blue.
And of course, I've been watching Bleach TYBW as well Shinji's fight with Bambietta was pretty cool we got to see his bankai and he even got his own theme!
too bad we didn't get to see more before Komamura took over, episode 4 was probably my least favorite episode so far but I loved the shot of Komomura walking towards the camera with his bankai behind him a big reason this episode wasn't as good for me was mostly due to the screentime mask de masculine got, I personally can't stand this character and the title card for next week means he gets even more screen time which is quite frustrating because the wait between episodes is agonizing, I kind of wish I could just watch it all now but ultimately I know it's better for the show if they release it this way.
What are you thinking of watching next? and don't worry it's all good I don't mind if your reply's are short.
Jjk has been good so far man, yessirrr animation for ep3 was nicee! Wait so u dont know anything about the shubiya incident? Which is gonna take place after ep 5.
Bleach yessir, cant wait for Shinjis bankai tomorrow!! Yh the op is visually amazing but the song will have to grow on me can’t lie.
Ahh yhyh, remember I told u before that the anime they changed some stuff lmaooo .
U watched zom btw??
