Props to Kohaku on her tactical mind. She made an important decision in the neck of time.

Obviously, the same could be said for Senku and he saves his friends and prepares his own trump card. The biggest threat this episode is Mozu making his appearance, which definitely has an impact in the arc. They managed to add in a lot of humorous moments to made the episode entertaining imo.

All it took was Yuzuriha’s revival, and then we literally had people waking up one after another… props to Yuzuriha’s skills tbh, and enough nitric acid of course. Though after the bombshell last episode dropped about the true identity of the village chief and everything, we honestly needed someone to convey this piece of information to Senku and the gang.

Amaryllis might have took the comfort of commotion and slipped away, helping Senku and everyone with the happenings which transpired, and that in itself helped them figure out the existence of one and only petrification weapon and how Kirisame and others are oblivious about the truth of village chief being a statue, but… but someone tailed her, and it was Mozu, the man who’s quite literally the last person who would’ve come to know about our science people.

Though I liked how Gen played with the brain of Mozu there, which might not look like anything advantageous for Sneku and co. at first look, but he somehow convinced Mozu to join their side and moreover even had him place a deal with these people about how he’d make a mess of that harem palace and help them get close to the petrification weapon, albeit the ownership would be his.

Dude in the greed of power and making every girl his own, has kind of fallen prey to the tricks of Gen and everyone lol.

Mozu is someone who shouldn't be underestimated.

Exposed as a stone statue, Ginro suffered a fatal blow from Ibara. Due to Kohaku's quick thinking, they both willingly petrified themselves, awaiting help from Senku's group. Meanwhile, Senku revived his comrades one by one and obtained the ace in the hole, the drone for counterattack. Amidst the chaos, they heard information from the just-escaped Amaryllis, delving into the enemy's secrets. In the midst of it all, the strongest warrior of the Petrification Kingdom, Mozu, suddenly appeared before Senku and the others.

Witnessing more people being depetrified was nice to see. It seemed like they were petrified in stone for an eternity, though in the world of the anime, only a few days had passed. Additionally, it felt like the first time we truly witnessed Gen going all out, and the outcome was truly spectacular. Yuzuriha was nice as well to see.

We’re getting closer and closer to the final battle!

Thank you Gen 🙏
I'm sure Moz will permanently join the Kingdom of Science in the end
And now I'm really curious about what that science spear can do

Nice story progression but hated how it was padded out, especially with alloting a dialogue for the main 5. Gen mind games would have been much better if it was presented after the fact.

Question outside the scope of the episode. What does this sign and the number next to it mean? When I click on it, the shape changes, and the number increases by 1.

I thought they were going to de-petrify Hyoga while Gen was buying some time. Hyoga could probably battle on an equal footing against Moz; that said, it would have just been trading one evil for another at the end of the day.

Gen is def one of the key players in the Kingdom of Science, using psychological manipulation to not only keep Moz from killing them but to actually work for them. Also, Moz's night raider getup is pretty cool ^^

After what happened to both Kohaku and Ginro, Amaryllis was quick to get back to the hideout and tell Senku and the others about what had happened. While the info she gave them was crucial, she didn't realise that she was followed back to the hideout by none other than Moz.

Considering how strong he is, Gen worked himself to his limit in negotiating a deal where both Senku's Kingdom of Science and Moz can work together towards a common goal. Despite his strength, Moz's goal of taking out Ibara would have Kirisame going for him with the petrification beam, which does contribute to him agreeing to help Senku and the others in their plan of taking the petrification beam away.

Now with a new weapon and a cool outfit, Moz is already taking down the guards with ease. Hopefully this plan will work out for both Moz and Senku's group. =)

Bruh. Moz randomly surfacing from the water almost gave me a jumpscare.

Sasuga mentalist! It was fun watching Gen being Gen again.

So that old guy Ibara is just as big of a scumbag as he looks. Not surprised.

The Kingdom of Science made a truce with Moz. I wonder how long it'll last. I do hope Moz will switch sides eventually. He could be a great asset for Senku.

The way Mozu showed up out of nowhere was genuinely terrifying for me, the guy just out skilled Ukyo's hearing, what a great ally (temporary), the Kingdom of Science is in dire need of warriors, besides Kohaku they are lacking so badly, Magma is strong but that's it and Kinro has yet to prove how strong he really is, I wonder who would win between Mozu and Tsukasa, hopefully we can see Tsukasa back thanks to Medusa.

Yuzuriha, Chrome and Ukyo are revived!
That episode went by so fast.
The Medusa device is ranged, looking at it from outside its range will not petrify as shown with Amaryllis, the rule was probably made up to prevent the Petrification Kingdom residents from simply knowing about it.
Time to attain the device by exploiting Moz and Ibara's power struggle, it's up to the Mentalist.
They sent Soyuz off with Moz, so will we find out Soyuz's connection to the master soon or did he return before Moz got their new weapon?

Gen was definitely the MVP this episode for that negotiation, they may be under Moz’s thumb as a result but who is actually under who’s thumb when you really think about it, and Gen’s reaction after the fact was great too lol. And Amaryllis managing to make it back and tell everyone about what they learned was huge too even if it lead Moz to them, it didn’t click at all for me that the enemy only possessed one petrification weapon and that is game changing information.

And as upsetting as it is, I did really like Senku’s initial reaction to Kohaku and Ginro being turned to stone, the man rarely gets angry but when it even slightly shows it’s pretty haunting. And lastly, it’s very nice to see some members of the kingdom of science again after a long time like Chrome and Yuzuriha, and of course Ukyo the sonar lad. The gang is slowly being reassembled, definitely looking forward to seeing everyone back together again.

@Dan_ALves Nah, Ibara just likely doesn't want the villagers to know how people get petrified.

It's always nice to have a smooth talker part of your crew. Someone who can wiggle you out of situations where you're clearly not strong enough to beat someone. Gen the Mentalist coming in clutch once again with his manipulation tactics against Mozu. Using multiple methods to trick Mozu into at least not killing them right away, each of the kingdom of science generals piecing together information. Mozu clearly knowing who the infiltrators are but still letting Ginro go see the master with Ibara. Mozu following Amaryllis to the cave instead of just killing her, he has motives beyond just keeping the status quo on the island like Kirisame has. This three pronged gridlock that Mozu, Ibara and Kirisame are in keeps things stagnant but not improving for anyone. Mozu can't just go after Ibara and vice versa, not with that petrification weapon in Kirisame hands. Mozu easily could destroy the entire kingdom of science right now but if he wants more control over the island then he has to work with them. Using their science to further convince Mozu they can be useful to him. With the most powerful warrior on the island with the kingdom of science things might be turning around.

Well they still are playing with fire, teaming up with a primeval warrior like Moz.
But at least the true enemies they have to focus on is pretty much defined for them to have a clear goal.

Another amazing episode, though this one feels less impactful, I didn't cry as much as last time.

the thumbnail for the episode on Crunchyroll spoiled that Yuzuriha was being revived, though she clearly needed to be revived soon since she is the best at putting together statues.

I wasn't expecting so many people to get revived this episode and i also wasn't expecting Amaryllis to go to the cave but it makes sense why she would, Ibara and Moz knew she was close with Kohaku so she was not safe at the inner palace.

I didn't think Ginro and Kohaku told anyone about the master being a statue and looking like Soyuz, but I guess I was wrong since Amaryllis told Senku and the others .

I think it's cool that a lot of people got revived, but I think I would prefer if it was more spaced out. This episode felt like it was going faster through the story than it should have. If they spent more time focusing on each person being revived and saved the reveal that Moz followed Amaryllis for the end of the episode and ended it with that, it would have been a lot more impactful and made me cry like the last episode did. I can imagine the ending theme beginning as Moz shows up and me thinking of what might happen next.

Based on the opening it looks like Hyoga will be revived and the entire island will be attacked by the petrification weapon later on in this season. I am very excited for what will happen next. Usually if I'm watching a show week to week I want as much as possible to happen in each episode, but that's not the case here as I would prefer this episode be split into at least 1.5 episodes. Take everything in this episode until the point where Moz shows up and stretch it out to where the episode ends when Moz shows up and then pick up the next episode from there.

When Moz showed up I paused to think about what might happen. I said that Moz was a selfish anti-hero who only cared about cute girls and his own entertainment. I wasn't fully correct. He still seems to be an anti-hero, but he's motivated by more than cute girls. He wants to take over the petrification kingdom and kill Ibara.

I was impressed with Senku when he figured out that there was only one petrification beam and that Moz wanted to kill Ibara. Seeing everyone's thoughts from the top brass was really cool and relatable.

After seeing Gen use his mentalist manipulation tactics to get Moz to work with him I was impressed and decided to start giving out a Scientist of the Week award. I didn't give it out for the first two weeks so I will now. Week 1 goes to Ryusui. I was very impressed with him reviving Taiju so that Taiju could pull Kaseki out from the sand. I was also impressed with how he used the Morse code for ふ to ask for revival fluid. Week 2 goes to Kohaku. Getting herself and Ginro petrified to save Ginro's life and relaying to Amaryllis that the master was petrified and looked like Soyuz was one of the greatest things to ever happen in anime, not just in Dr. STONE. Finally this week the award goes to Gen. His mentalist manipulation techniques were crucial in getting Moz to not only spare Senku and the others, but also to work with the kingdom of science to defeat Ibara and claim the petrification weapon.

I've been thinking and I'm gonna check the wiki to see how many chapters have been adapted in each of these episodes, because it feels like its been going faster than it should have.
