| This is sooo weird yet it had me laugh out a lot in a lot of scenes XD Urabe laughing in the class was crazy!! I actually thought she has some kind of fetish or something. I freaking knew Tsubaki would lick Urabe's saliva on the desk. While it looks kinda disgusting, it actually feels kinda sexy and erotic in a way!! And I really did thought Tsubaki had a virus and that the only cure for him is Urabe to kiss him everytime. Lol she chews her saliva like it's some gum!! Well that's one way to confess your love to a girl!! Did she really puke a lot of saliva like that!?! :P The dialogue is even weird as hell!! It's some sort of erotic play between lovers, music even goes a along with it! And yes Urabe's voice sounds unique as hell!! It doesn't sound like a typical voice actress. Never knew she was an actual actress in real life :D Her voice really sounds like what a Japanese Woman would sound in real life. Just cold hard facts and straight to the point. I love it!!! I do hope she does more roles in the near future!! Looks like this series has some saliva "action" :D I expect more weird and awesome things from now on!!! |
| The uniqueness is very refreshing to watch. This seems more like a drama than your average romcom. Plot moves quickly, as expected from a 1 cour anime. |

| Well I will say eating supper while watching this wasn't my best decision in my life, but starting this anime was a good choice, the girl is reminding me of a 90s OVA, and I love it. |

| It's weird and I enjoyed every minute of it. I'm on board to see this through to the end. The pacing was great for me, and the unique story definitely has me interested. I'm a huge fan of Mokoto already and it's only the first episode! |
| Ah yes, another one of those "only in anime"....anime. I think I'm going to enjoy this a lot. And the voice acting for Urabe's is probably the most natural I've heard in any TV anime (it's a lot more common in anime movies). Even more natural than Kumiko's from Hibike Euphonium. |

| I love Urabe. Her weird quirks might make her seem crazy to the casual observer, but my impression is that she is actually much more sane and rational than most anime girls. Most girls, when faced with romance, respond with hysteria and/or panic. Urabe knows what she wants and actively goes after it, and she is actually nice and cooperative. She is great. I also love Urabe's voice. She sounds mature beyond her years, which fits my impression of her personality. And it's also a pretty sexy voice. I'm not sure about Tsubaki. He spent the whole episode being confused and off-balance, so I don't blame him for being a bit weak. He was nice at the end. I hope he grows. :) I also noticed another nice thing: They have a scene where a girl is rolling around on the floor, and we see her from different angles, yet they avoid the temptation to throw in a panty shot. I appreciate that. (I like some kinds of fanservice; I just don't like panty shots.) I have a hard time understanding why people are just ok with this without even pointing out that this dude just f*cking licked the drool straight from a girl's finger 3 times in this episode. What the hell is this and what am I even getting into anymore ? I mean, ok sure, people kiss, but that shit's just gross man. Well, I'll give it the benefit of the 3 episode doubt since I see it has quite a high rating. |

| This was really, really great! Loving the characters, the show looks good, the ominous yet inviting music is fantastic, the romance is different, and way better than most that I see. First anime episode I've watched this year, excluding rewatches (Detroit Metal City). Pretty glad about that, I loved it. Urabe is the best. |

| I can definitely say that this is by far the most unique "first" episode I've seen so far in anime. It began pretty normal but when he actually licked the drool I wasn't sure wtf was happening lol. And then Akira gets fever because he needs more drool and is in love Mikoto? That went all over the place but it's enjoyable to watch. I was not ready for her to have such a drool explosion at the end. Reminded me a little bit on an different genre in anime haha. At least Akira and Mikoto are now together. I guess from now on there will be a lot more funny moments between them. |

| This is actually what I call a "perfect start". So many things that were presented to viewers that didn't make much sense, many mysteries that will be definitely explored in future episode yet the story is surprisingly engaging from the very beginning. Not to mention about beautiful visuals - character design is great, animation too, details and shading are insane. I don't know why I didn't watch this series yet. |

| Oh... What? Well, this probably is the weirdest anime I've ever watched. I want to drop this anime after seeing Tsubaki lick Urabe's drool, but might as well stick for a while. The ending with drools made it a lot weirder. |

| 10 years after this came out and gone by, I have now finally watched it and wow I will go crazy with this one since this is right up in my alley. Though it might not be the more popular anime that came out in 2012, you can tell this was a unique one from the bunch back then. Animation that I thought I'm watching a 90s show, a sweet but rather fast progression from meetup to confession for a romcom anime, and the noteworthy natural voice of Mikoto differing from anime girls at the time, also a Hoods anime that is known for softcore hentai stuff. Though to not waste my time I will not be posting any more stuff on forums after this episode, I will tell you this, Nazo no Kanojo X is a refreshing and really funny show. Yeah its weird but it wears it at its sleeves, and at this point it is somewhat an underrated show, I hope a lot more watches this rough gem. That's it for me a one-off impression to this show, have fun binging with me if you see this. |

| Wtf did I just watch? What's with author's obsession with saliva? Disgusting... Has been recommended to me because of memes. Now I wonder how weird this gets. For now I'm not sure I can watch all 13 episodes. Also, Star Mars, lol. |
