| Technology has evolved to the point where characters can alter their lives...but on the other hand, seeing the kid playing like that on the piano was rough. I have to admit, this episode showed that in their society, everyone has their own personal struggles, regardless of age. |

| I like the moral ambiguity of this episode. The last few eps kinda had an objectively correct answer. Today however,Yuta and the dad’s situation were tricky. On one hand, Yuta was clearly going down a dark path and he likely would’ve killed someone had they not tuned his personality. He’d become far too obsessed with the piano. On the other hand, is injecting false memories into someone to put them at peace right? This show is criminally underrated and really deserves more attention. Some really good philosophical and relevant moral questions being posed here. |

| There are no correct answers, and I like that about this show. Would you choose talent over a normal life? Would you choose to lose a part of yourself in order to change? But the real question this show is asking is whether relying on AI too much to solve our problems is a good idea. The power of "will", "tenacity", all of these traits humans tend to turn a blind eye to in favor of an easier solution. That's human nature. |

| Well the dad surely got treated badly by the previous AI Doctor, he even had bad dreams and to the point of him sending money to an supposed friend. So Sudou confronted kinda that doctor or something. I am skeptical about that cactus plant, idk why but since the dad said that he got it as well as an gift from that doctor. That kid's rage was rather unexpected to see, he only loved the piano and nobody else around him, that's quite sad. Sudou only had one option and that is to change his emotions to something else, where he can control his anger and it seemed like that worked, he still loves the piano and even made friends along the way, and he even send the piano files to Sudou, which he promised. Sudou really loves them. |

| Artificially changing a person's whole character on the spot reminds me of lobotomy. Maybe a lengthy therapeutical process could/would have some eased Yota's psychological issues...or maybe not. The bottom line is that after the treatment Yota gets to live peacefully without having to fight against his brain, his mother and his peers, but at the same the fiery and uncontrollable rage that burned inside him and animated his piano playing is now gone forever and his recording will never be the same as before. |

| I know this seems to try to convey there isn't really a right answer but there is middle ground here. Adding false memories is more questionable than just erasing memories or making memories lose detail in that it's more like living a lie while having forgotten or unclear memories and knowing you may have forgot something painful is just more like what it is to be human, though surely this wouldnt really have been the only way to heal someone you also could just weaken the emotions associated with the memories (this is actually a thing of research currently). The boy with the problems in his emotional And behavioural control didn't exactly have to be altered as much as he was, he could have been left with some anger but more manageable levels and given more impulse control and the passionate frustration he puts into his music would still be there. |

| The Matsumura family in question, their husband has been caught up in a state of altered memories, though Sudo knows where to find the doctor through an old friend of his: Seto, who last treated on him with a modded neural net treatment. The side effects are showing up now, and Sudo has to treat them, though how ambiguous Seto has been forthcoming with his words, it gives one some thought from creating falsehoods to maintain sanity. Yuta's mother comes to seek Sudo's aid about her son, though tuning is needed to cure his emotional ourbursts. Albeit the treatment's review, Yuta is not doing well socially, and it's worse at school where his classmates are trying to reach out to him, and he's locking them out. And for a kid who still as much to grow, unequivocally, his mother accepts Jay's treatment, and Yuta keeps his promises of sending more of his recordings to Sudo. In the end, he's able to control his emotions for the better, and his mother is able to breathe a sigh of relief. To be human, that's the question of maintaining sanity. |

| The ability to alter people's memories and personalities can be beneficial. But it's also deeply disturbing and isn't something I see people agreeing with any time soon. This was a great episode! It gave me a lot to think about. |

| i really appreciate the episodic nature, every single one is a complete story (or two) that consider deep questions about AI and our humanity. this was another good one. Yuta-kun turned out for the best i think although i'm not sure how it will affect his performances. still i think happiness is more important than perfect art. |

| I have to say the way conflicts are solve in this show aren't in, "Everyone is happy yay!" But more so, "Well I solved but everything may not be perfect." I like that approach and this episode was more of that. I am really liking this series. No Frontier is a perfect to start my Fridays...even if I'm watching this on a Saturday due to issues. |

| What's the point of having humanoids if they have the same problems as humans and need to eat human food and go to school, that's just increasing already existing problems and how exactly does their body process the food!? This is stupid. |

| Yuta essentially had a lobotomy and I share the doctor's reservedly-expressed sentiment on the matter - It's a crying shame. That entire storyline of the episode was essentially about neurodiversity and whether it's right or acceptable to forcibly purge neurological differences from the human genome (yes, I know the kid in question was a humanoid - doesn't matter as it's the same concept except more easily facilitated due to the existence of the neural net with presumably more manually manipulable features than purely organic tissue) in order to foster better societal cohesion and harmony, and accelerated and improved acculturation and assimilation of the individual into the whole and the neurological minorities into the neurotypical majority. And right and acceptable for whom? The collective whole or the unique individual destroyed? An extremely relevant question for those who are or close to someone who is ASD, SPD, and other CNS aberrations. |
| I thought the side effect of him being nicer would be being crap at piano playing, but to an untrained someone like me, his piano-playing post-treatment didn't sound bad. |

| This keeps reminding me of Mushi-shi except you replace the mushis by AIs and technology., and not just because of the hair of the dude :D Wouldn't be surprised if the grey/silver hair has a deep meaning in Japanese culture, like being related to wisdom while never really being attached to things, hence not being "tainted" by other colors. |

| What's the point of the humanoids/robots/whatever if the topics are some PSA about the things humans go through but with the twist of being able to fix them because, well, they're not completely humans -_- like if that kid was being a pest just send him back to the factory he came from. |
