| After all these years, finally, we have new Konosuba content! That first explosion (with vocals) after like what, 4 years? Was absolutely exquisite. It's nice that Kazuma is narrating this. Now the wait for season 3 is even harder, but at least we have Megumin for the next few months. Big booba master though. |

| So we're up to Megumin's backstory at school and how she went to learn the explosive magic and all, well it just needs to be treated as a simple bonus to just see more of Megumin I guess because without the other characters this show doesn't have his charm, it's just a simple fantasy/magic story xD |

| I thought this was the third season, but it's a prequel spin-off for Megumin and Yunyun. Well, this will be enjoyable for sure. I've already had a smile on my face throughout the whole episode, so it's going be hilarious for the next ones. |

| No fucking way that elf mage at the beginning is the same woman from Konosuba season 2 at the hot spring. Konosuba is back with a spin off and it has an explosive start! I'm going to say this: it feels very different from Konosuba. Less jokes and looks more tame. Granted this is the first episode so I'm waiting for more, definitely! |

| Great start. Good to see this adaptation is putting care into the more emotional part and doesn't overly focus on the comedy. This makes me hope that the 3rd season from the same studio will actually manage to tackle what's gonna come properly. Megumin story already got done dirty in the movie it would be awful if the payoff of vol 8 was also turned to comedy. Now I just hope the anime makes Megumin less like an asshole. I felt that way quite often when she interacted with yunyun in the LN but today episode is restoring some faith. 4/5 good pilot, nice opening. |

| Remember when they made a spinoff of Friends about Joey? This has exactly the same problem. It stars the comic relief as a lead, when they only really work in contrast to the rest of the cast. The interpersonal dynamic of Konosuba, its literal strongest point, is just gone. And this change in studios isn't worth much either, I swear that rose-haired girl near the middle lost a facial marking during her scene, how does one even go off-model in this day and age? Sad, but it's out. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| This anime is going to be very popular, I'd wager... But for me the first episode was a waste of time. It kind of shows how Konosuba only works because of the system effect between characters. Megumin just isn't good enough to carry a whole show by herself. |

| Goddamn, of course we'd start the show with a huge... pair of tits. I remember seeing her in the main series in a brief scene but I didn't remember her having them that huge. No wonder that was one of Megumin's wishes lol. Holy Arue's thighs! That panning starting from her thighs and going up should be illegal. The most developed of the class indeed. Looking forward to more of her. Yunyun is the sweetest girl in a village full of weirdos in which she is the weirdo. you can't help but feel bad for her. It was so nice how Megumin helped her get a partner for the practice. Hearing Rieri as Megumin again was so good! This first episode was quite fun, looking forward to Megumin's chuuni adventures with her chuuni friends and chuuni teacher and chuuni family in their chuuni village. |

It is weird because the more clothes on her was draw in a way you can still see even her belly button, like they did the original design, but someone said they should cover, so they just added a few lines and change some colors. Now she looks as hawt if not hotter and they even made her boobs bigger lmao. |

| I guess it's safe to say Kanasaki isn't going to board a single episode. It does feel like a downgrade, but at the end of the day, it's just more Konosuba and the episode did felt like it flew by, so guess I'll continue watching for now. |

| Well, that was boring. Not sure it's because I watched Kamisama Katsudou before this one or the original LN is just unfunny. Megumin is still nice, but I'm not a biggest fan to watch this only for her. |
| This felt oddly safe for the first episode. Not much happened really. But I am happy to see Megumin again. I'm also excited to see all the other cute Crimson Demon girls too! |

| A new Konosuba season is what i need in my life rn. I'm interested to see how this season will go being exclusively Megumin focused, but if i remember correctly, her village is kinda made up of natural comedians so i'm sure they'll be able to cook something good up. Also, idk whats with these modern classis suddenly getting new seasons after a good couple years, Ancient Magus' Bride Season 2 and a now a new Konosuba season after like 5/6 years but i'm all for it. Man do i feel old as shit tho thinking about it. |
