One thing that put me off was the 3D animation. I'm starting to get used to it now in the third season, but it doesn't feel the same. In addition, I miss the incredible original soundtrack from the OG series, and as you mentioned, it lacks blood and emotion. Having said that, I really enjoy the English dub and they added a few things I found interesting. And, for crying out loud, I began to accept that Shun is a girl now. Oh God

LOL. I was a child and Seiya was in a wheelchair, and now I am an adult and he is still there lol I really wonder if he will. I honestly can imagine Kurumada deciding to keep him in the wheelchair forever and making Tenma the new protagonist (not happening, right?). Yeah, Hyoga and Shiryuu have always been my favourites but growing up, I started to appreciate Seiya's hustle; he never gives up, does he?

I am glad the story is finally coming to an end after all these years, even if there are parts of me that think it should have had more chapters to wrap up and so much more that could have been explored.

Yeah, it makes me nostalgic; they added a few things, but not that remarkable.

manigold from lost canvas seems to be a mix of ikki with his sense of revenge for the ones who caused pain to him and defy the gods, and scorpio knight powers making the soul of the dead work for him and that is interesting. yeah, deathmask is one dimensional 😭

Haha, just saw your forum pic and came here to say that manigold rules! but if it weren't for lost canvas I wouldn't like him that much since the original never fleshed out the character properly 😎

Exactly! I think Saint Seiya was really popular only in certain places and quite some time ago, now I don’t hear anyone talking about it. But it’s still one of the most loved classics 💛

True on the stillshot comment, but anime is anime and it uses the old adage of a picture can convey a thousand words. I also dont read manga, so I care nothing about whats in manga compared to what is represented in its visual form

Hi, Gundam 0079 is a very traditional mecha anime in that mecha battles are present in every episode. If you find the story pacing to be too slow, you can watch the three compilation movies thay summarize all the plot.
