| I decided to read it because I saw it in the top doujins and then saw everyone saying it's not what it looks like. Indeed, it's not, but it's still misleading and has some very disturbing lines. I didn't like it. |
| Well, somebody mentioned this in MAL in a positive light as a surprising piece and I decided to give it a go... ...I didn't like it. Regardless of the always too invasive aspect of perviness and risky stuff, it turns that the twist is not particularly well delivered, and neither does the situation look real or thorough enough. It was a nice curiosity at most, but I didn't get invested on the characters and their erratic relationship, with a writing that seems more focused on delivering and revelling in the troll to catch the readers off-guard than on actually making interactions look natural. 4/10 |

| I really liked the short story. Though we don't know if she's dead or she lived and used the uniform that her father gave her. Still he looked a little aged and even had bleached hair, though the author put is that the story was an inconclusive end. So that means that this short story is up to your interpretation. Personally tha argument that she lived is strong as incense is also used for killing bugs, the father wasn't crying from the the video(expected especially when the kid you raised dies), and looked behind himself. |

| I guess that I spoiled myself reading the genre tags before reading just so I can verify what I'd be reading but they still got me in the first half not gonna lie. I nearly teared up over how he spoke about his plans to be with her every step of the way past her surgery. I was glad that she somehow made it but reading the other posts here and rechecking the ending only to see it making sense was an oof. Damn. |

| It's interesting how this mangaka keeps having this style to have odd, creepy or perverted concepts turned into comedy with legit drama at times. It's kinda funny, and bittersweet, but soothing in the end for the fact that the surgery is successful in keeping her alive from her illness. Funny, I actually thought this was a creepy sexual harrassement type of story from the cover for a long time. Decent One-Shot. 5/10. |
| Honestly, I didn't think it was all that great. I mean, for what it is, it certainly isn't terrible either, but I really think it would've benefitted from being a bit longer. :\ Am I the only one who didn't think it was that sad? Like, I understand that the subject matter is inherently sad, but I just couldn't get attached enough to the characters to really feel anything... :\ |
