That was quite the pleasant surprise. From the synopsis I expected an echii fanservice anime with little substance. Let's hope it keeps up the quality through out the rest of its run.

I think the idea behind this anime is really interesting, and I’m definitely curious and will watch the next episode. There’s not really anything bad about this anime that I can think of, but it’s definitly not something that strongly grabs my attention. I like the characters so far, they’re pretty unique.

But an invisible bunny girl just walkin around? sounds pretty cool to me. interested to see where this goes.

Well, that was dry and boring... What's the point in animating this if they're just going to walk and talk for the whole episode and not do anything interesting? At least with monogatari they change up the perspective and things, but here it was just the same boring crap, and low budget crap at that. I'll give it 3 episodes but I'm thinking this will have the same problems as Sakurada Reset.

Intro song sounded nice.

So we're suposed to forget we have seen a bunnny girl, huh? Oh boy, Sakurajima-senpai, you tease. I like you already. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Joke's aside, I like Mai Sakurajima. Understandable charather. I'm sure you would get sick of everytime people are fangirling over you. I also like the male main charather because I like his attitude. So far he's not cringy like most male main charathers are.

Iether way, first episode was good. The whole "Adolescence Syndrome" thing is wierd and it's also wierd why people are ignoring Bunnygirl-San (that's her nickname for me now, since she don't want to be called 'senpai'') is if she's a ghost, but we'll find out I guess? Little sister is cute too with her bear outfit.

Can I say I enjoyed the first episode? Yes. Let's hope it keeps that way. Looking forward for the second episode of Bunnygirl-senpai Z!

Surprisingly really good.

Setting is quite intriguing especially with the whole Adolescence syndrome stuff. The dialogue is both intriguing and kinda fun at the same time and the characters are great. Already took a liking to both Sakuta and Mai, Kaede is cute and the science girl at the end was cute too. Well well well. XD

Definitely looking forward to seeing how this progresses, I'm not even sure what the story is gonna be like from the first episode but it has me interested.

The parts where Sakuta was moaning when Mai was trying to touch his scar had me laughing. XD

Well, I liked the first episode, so I partially regained my trust in CloverWorks. Supernatural elements are somewhat distracting, but in general I like the similar focus on the dialogues like in Oregairu or Saekano of the same author.

In the end, it reminded me so much of the adaptations of classic school LN, that I'm with you.

hard to shake off the similarities of Oregairu with a added mix of monogatari (or Sakurada Reset. ) , having said that i enjoyed it seems interesting, no idea where it's gonna go besides other girls will also have supernatural abilities

hoping it turns out good really don't want another Classroom of eite's case where MC is Mr perfect kun

OP is great and that cover art is doing this a disservice

I totally agree. Sakuta and Mai are a lot like Hachiman and Yukino, just cranked to 200%. Seriously, the "What the fuck is your problem? Are you on your period?" savagery was just wonderful lmao.

Anyway, looking forward to the rest of the show, it definitely piqued my interest.

Not a bad debut I'm digging the melancholic high school atmosphere and all the teenage allegory. I do like Kaito Ishikawa's voice acting, and while I have seen some range from him he's (ironically) just doing Kei from Sakurada Reset again.

Gives me clannad vibes like the side story of the girl who disappeared. Now the explanation doesn't really gel but it's still interesting plus I love the art. MC is a dick but at least he's interesting, which is desperately needed (looking at YOU DEMON LORD). Can't wait to keep watching!

I'm downloading the chapter right now but I still have doubts. Please tell me if this is more like a normal romantic comedy with a little weirdness instead of another basic scholar LN trying to be "serious", dramatic and comical in a very bad balance like Oregairu or Classroom of the Elites.

Good intro song, good intro episode. My main issue were with the subs. A lot of fragmented sentences and simple grammar mistakes. For example,

"In any case, quickly left the cafe and went home.". Obviously missing the word "I" before "left".

And earlier MC said "That's the kind of pace a school is...". I couldn't hear the JP well enough to say exactly what it SHOULD say but it was one of these two things:

"That's the kind of PLACE a school is"
or
"That's the kind of PACE as school has"

School is not a "pace", it has a pace, though.

When my biggest issues with a show are with the subs, that's usually a good sign. But I counted like 4 or 5 total grammar issues so I hate the actual subber/editor (Hulu/CR).

Don't worry, at least the materials that the movie (which will come after this presumably 13-ep season) will be adapting ends on a good note. Though the LN seems to continue after that, if we dont end up getting more, it's still a good ending for the anime.

When I saw the synopsis of this anime, I wasn’t to keen on it. I gave it a go and man, was I wrong. To be honest, I had low expectations and thought it was going to be some ecchi harem thing. Now let’s talk about the first episode (Before anyone says I read ahead, I Have Not! It’s a Light Novel...very hard to get them online...) In the beginning, our MC here is alone with the bunny girl (forgot her name) and she says “Why don’t we Kiss” in his mind he uses the word “Girl” meaning that he doesn’t know who she is. He even says, “Wait, who is she?” So when he wakes up, it gives us the date of ‘May 29th’. He reads his notebook and which says that he should remember it, and that it’s all true! It was about a wild bunny girl he met at a library on ‘May 6’ Remember that! He sees that the name is forgotten or he doesn’t remember it. It shows very blurry to us and to him. So, what does this mean? Well the whole episode is about what happened on May the 6th. And when the episode starts, we see the future! Our MC doesn’t remember who that bunny girl is! Remember, May 6th is when he encounters the bunny girl which many people don’t see. Then on May 29th he himself is confused about it. His expression says it too when he reads his notebook. His head is slightly tilted in doubt. (Really hope people understood what I just said...it was confusing for me to explain this...)
Edit: Apparently there is a manga. My bad on that one.

Interesting info! No wonder I like the character interactions so far, as well as the mundane atmosphere. Sakuta and Mai definitely reminds me of Mio and Eita (although it should be the other way around since the LN began first). Few people mentioned that it felt as if there was almost no bgm, and I didn't even realize that, but it's probably why the episode felt "slow" and the atmosphere mundane. Honestly was going to skip out on this upon seeing the key visual, but glad I gave it a try after reading through a thread prior to the release of the first episode. I thought the little sister would be cringey too after that first scene, but so far, she's actually been okay, I even like her a bit.

Anyways, I'm quite intrigued. Again, character interactions are up my alley, love the tone so far, the character designs are really nice, and the "mystery" of this Adolescence Syndrome makes me curious. Also, Ishikai as MC, yes. And monotone MC, no less, lol. No wonder it reminded someone here of Sakurada Reset.

Wew I had the same vibes too with all that chara designs and similiar sounding VA.
But still gotta love the show as of now with that bunny outfit fanservice even though they integrated many characters on the first episode.

I enjoyed it as it seemed to cut through a hell of a lot of bullshit in the first episode. The main male lead isn't a constantly nervous blushing buffoon and the girl isn't infinitely stubborn. I especially enjoyed him fucking with her with the trope of being in pleasure and her pushing back. Good banter fun dynamic. Felt refreshing. Not sure where the story will go from here but the first episode cleared a lot of the table of reasons why I'd find the series boring.

Oh, and his friend's girl being a bitch but him calling her on it. despite the supernatural/odd atmosphere so far the depicted humans are actually acting human for once.

When her sister, after receiving those messages, her skin began to be cut by itself. That was chilling!... and at once I wake up a lot my curiosity, for a moment I had an air as normal, but intelligent as Hyouka, but suddenly change radically! I was in the world of Haruhi!... a wonderful and strange world! xD... and then we fall back into the dynamics of a world rejoined by the logic of the Physical Laws, but where concepts such as the electron behavior and the Theory of Measure, intersect and break the collective thought of "what you study you change it..."what is observed only exists insofar as it is perceived by the senses...?

Now I understand why it's called Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, Bunny Girl... this has a unique relationship with the concept of Schrödinger Rabbits, how far below the rabbit hole can you get?

This series will be a crazy trip but very interesting!

I hope you all prepared with your good knowledge of Quantum Physics, Quantum Dynamics Systems and electron behavior, Effect of Interference and Universes-M

What is the matter?... Why does Mai excite me so much?!!???? xD

It's intriguing, yet boring. The two of main characters acted calmly most of the time, yet still acted over the top when it's tied to a scene where anime trope usually happen(e.g. when the protagonist disrobed himself). It 's quite clever with some of the dialogues, yet some dialogues felt robotic & some felt like bad anime dialogues. The premiere felt like a clash of opposing ideas every step of the way. It's not bad, it's just straddling in the middle.

I do not think that's him messing with her. That's what he actually felt. So, it's just another trope scene dressed slightly differently(no excessive blushings). Unless I missed something that indicated he was just messing around.

The characters definitely not as odd as the circumstances, but I wouldn't say their personalities so good that they're humanly. There were still some bits of bad characterizations(e.g. the little sister trope, the protagonist suddenly blocking someone who tried to take a photo of Mai without any good reason). I appreciate the effort & definitely better than other anime with chokeful of tropes though.

Strong start.

Was expecting ecchi trash on the premise, but it proved to be a nice surprise. Solid writing with equally solid comedic timing, though some of the dialogue comes off as too polished - not a big complaint.

Good chemistry between the leads and I'm happy the little sister thing is shown to be something more than the typical "imouto" character.

LOL! Picking up this anime only looking at the MAL score and the cover art, without reading the synopsis, genre tags, and reviews. :v
I was expecting an ecchi comedy anime but ended up watching a supernatural one.
I guess the risk came out good after all. XD

Anyway, interesting first episode.
The supernatural element really made me pay attention.

It really didn't gave me that "Oregairu" vibe like a lot of people said (even though Oregairu is my favorite anime), aside from the main girl looking like Yukinon and the art style looks like Oregairu S1 (weird coz it's not Brain's Base who made it).

I really like how they foreshadowed at the very beginning that the MC would forget the girl eventually (with him reading back on his own diary entry) and then revisited the diary entry at the very end for emphasis as well as to clarify who wrote the message. Can't wait to see how it all plays out

Oh God, a SNAFU and Monogatari cross-over? Hell YES i'm on...

Wow is this an intriguing episode, Sakuta (the MC) is literally like Hachiman 100%, only more blatant and witty and insensitive, and Mai is albeit like Yukino, but more like a visible (but invisible) character. See the usual troupes (e.g. imouto) that come out? Well sorry, Sakuta *shots fired* them out the next second.

Pretty impressive considering the author and illustrator worked on Sakurasou, this "Puberty Syndrome" is legit society-based even if it's not very apparent.

The synopsis is very misleading, and the opening episode just gave a very different picture, left me a lot of questions in the build-up. But it definitely laid the groundwork for future episodes to follow, really anticipating more of this series to follow.

So Puberty Syndrome...And Mai is pretty much invisible to everyone except Azusagawa and Kunimi...And Mai is a celebrity on break...If she happens to go back to showbiz during this series, will she be visible again? Well I don't know where this will go, but I hope it develops well...

I can see where you're coming from. While the protagonist's archetype was quite similar to Hachiman, it's not written as well. So the vibe of the anime overall could be affected by that.
