And I have a laptop that runs on Windows 8.1, which I use for PC gaming. I (almost) never connect that laptop to the Internet. Except for getting updates from Steam.
It is incredibly unsafe to surf the Internet with Windows. Setting aside the NSA spyware, Windows is also incredibly prone to viruses. There is no perfect security. But using Linux is safer than using Windows, that is for sure.
I don't play any PC games, besides Visual Novels (VNs). And these VNs can easily run on a Windows 10 VM on Linux.
ive been taking 5 courses per semester this year and its pretty challenging but i agree with it being better to finish more quickly
it looks great, i really like the design
makes sense that youre in comp sci then
how long did it take you to make?
is your pfp something you created? if so, thats super cool
Hbu? And watching any shows atm?
Socialism is non-negotiable. If one have to foregone socialism when they opened up their country, then it's far more preferable to be like the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
"Global community" my ass. They're all just Washington's bootlickers, doing everything of their bidding. BRICS is far more of an actual representation of global community than NATO, EU, CANZUK, or any Euro/Anglocentric organizations in this world, because they accounted for more than 40% of the world's population. NATO only accounts for below 20%. Unipolar world order under USA is something that I will oppose to death.
Considering r/communism is also celebrating I guess I shouldn't be surprised that you're also celebrating.
Yes yes, let's go back to the days where Russia was like North Korea to all foreigners where the only way to visit was on wonderful guided tours full of propaganda and surveillance.
Gorb certainly was flawed because he was half-assed about what he wanted to do with his country and thus didn't accomplish as much as he should of but fuck whatever the hell was taking place during the later ages of the Soviet Union was a joke.
There's nothing good about isolation from global affairs and history has proven this to be the case time and time again and purely on the basis of Russia opening up more gorb did more good than harm.
Bullshit.

It's not about whether to open the country or not, it's about HOW you open the country. That sole difference is the reason why I like Deng Xiaoping and hate Gorby.
The USSR improved the quality of life of its own people, and changing it to capitalist Russian Federation reduced it significantly. That's all that matters.
Also funny that you mentioned surveilance when the USA also did that, but lied to the whole world calling themselves as "the bastion of freedom and democracy". He Soviet Union CARED for their citizens. The USA? See how they handled COVID? Or how some of their politicians openly said that "Debt forgiveness is bad because being indebted incentivized the students to join the military" (and do war crimes in the bidding of Raytheon and Lockhead Martin)?? Or that child hunger is just the price of the free market? Suuuure thing bro, "just" a price, children starving are a no biggie!!
People who still believe that their "Democratic" countries didn't spied om the citizens after Snowden's leak is purely fucking delusional.
