Btw, I want to recommend some manga, if you don't mind. I'll categorize them into two: Strong recommendations i.e. manga I love or really like; it's a mixed list of manga I love and some that I really like. Moderate recommendations i.e. manga I like or manga I like but not sure where it's going. Please be sure to try some. Thank you.
Strong recommendations:
- Aishiteru Game wo Owarasetai
- Demon King of the Royal Class (manhwa)
- Kusuriya no Hitorigoto (I think you won't like this. But try it if you haven't)
- Marriagetoxin
- Mikata ga Yowasugite Hojo Mahou ni Tesshiteita Kyuutei Mahoushi, Tsuihou sarete Saikyou wo Mezashimasu
- Nageki no Bourei wa Intai shitai: Saijaku Hunter ni Yoru Saikyou Party Ikuseijutsu
- Okiraku Ryoushu no Tanoshii Ryouchi Bouei
- Super no Ura de Yani Suu Futari
- Yuusha ga Shinda
- Yuujin Character wa Taihen desu ka?
Moderate recommendations:
- Idol x Idol Story!
- Kagurabachi
- Kamonohashi Ron no Kindan Suiri
- Night Light Hounds
- Ousama no Propose (I actually really like this and wanted to include in strong recommendations but I've only read like 7 chapters of it)
I wanted to include Gokurakugai in my strong recommendations but I noticed you had read 10 chapters and stopped. So I wanted to know whether you liked it or not? I really, really like it btw. And I love its art style.
Also, here's an anime recommendation. It does have a manga but it's really hard to find because I think it's licensed. And I have read like 3 chapters of it. Try its anime instead, I saw you haven't tried it. The name is: Undead Girl Murder Farce. I'm recommending its anime btw.
Also, you stopped reading Grand Blue. I wanna know what made you stop reading it.
I understand that it wasn't the ending you and I wanted. Well, I think it's more about perspective. Life isn't about what ends/goals you reach but it's about journey or the ride. But majority of the people live with an end/goal in mind. Thus, focusing and living in the future rather than the present and making the most out of it (the present that is). But when they reach whatever goal they had set, they immediately set another goal and start chasing it. I could go on about this xD. What I'm saying is whether it's life or whatever you watch, making the most of it in the present what matters. I don't focus on ends as long as it's not horrible! I loved the journey. And life is about living in the present and making the most of what you experience today.
But like I said if a series ends with a horrible ending even I'm put off by it. But do I start hating/disliking the whole thing because of it? Not at all. The parts that made me smile, laugh or even sad and all such experience will be special to me. For example, I recently finished Golden Kamuy manga. I loved it in the beginning! But omg, the last like 13 chapters were so bad! And the ending was also really bad. But does this invalidate the rest of the experience with the series? Does this mean my time was wasted reading the whole manga? No, not at all. But people who live with goals in mind and live for the future tend to think the other way and their way of living influences the way they do things.
In short, Oshi no Ko didn't have the ending I wanted. But was the end really bad? No. And what about the whole journey I had with it? I love it to this day.
Yes, I kept up with Oshi no Ko manga and finished it. It was a good ride tbh. I already knew that something was going to happen to one of the twins. But I was unsure which one. As you know the first few chapters had that first page that looked like the future. It seemed like something had happened to one of the twins. So when we got the Ruby stab chapter, I panicked so hard. I was like please not her, not her!! Then next chapter whew. But the damn, Aqua's death. I felt really sad. I didn't want either of them to die. But omg, was the death like covered so well! I've never seen a death scene done so well. Of course, I felt more sad due to it. I didn't know the manga was actually ending! As I don't keep up with any news. It had become so unpredictable. And then around the second last chapter, I came to know the manga was ending next chapter. I was so shocked! I've kept up with this manga when it literally started. And when Ai died, I wanted to drop it so bad but I was like let's keep on reading some chapters to see how it goes. And oh boy, I really liked this manga. This manga offered things that had not been done before. It was an eye opener. I really loved the ride. I feel sad about the end but it is what it is. I loved this manga. 10/10.
I hope you liked the manga as well. But I'm just gonna guess that you didn't like the ending. I man it was shocking. And the last chapter may have meh. But yeah, I loved it. I'd love to know your thoughts on the manga and its ending.
