| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Is it just me or did the setting especially with the forest felt like a bit of fantasy? Well, if you add the fireflies at night, then it becomes kinda enchanting... Slow episode but it introduced most of the main guys again. I really hope they add in a bit of variety with the music. Lol, the white horse. Classic. |

| The series started with the Quartet Night's song, like 2nd season. "The dice are cast" . The first ep. is mostly reintroducing all members because it's a new year and everyone are back. Meeting ST☆RISH on the way during a spring night. lol @ some intimate moments from each member, too. Syo's was so straight, even though it was for practice. Then Quartet Night's turn. Ai actually feeling something when he sings her song?! Their moments are just the main girl being nervous around the sempais. Shining's appearance never bores me. And that involves other two teachers, too, this time. Super Star Sport? and Quartet Night are singing opening as host country and she is to make music for them. Rare chance, so ST☆RISH wanting to participating, too. lol @ Revolution x8 before the Revolution ED in live. |

| Alright. My guilty pleasure anime is back with a third season. first episode is as slow a always, but it'll pick up soon enough. That whole "Revolution?" "Revolution?" thing was kind weird though but whatever. And then we got the new starish song at the end. To bad I couldn't hear it over the "KYAAAAAAAAA!!!!!"ing from the screaming girls. |

Instead of make scene with everyone in panels saying "Revolutions" they made caps for everyone saying it xD Ending is GOOOOOOOD as always, but I dislike CGI parts... ;( Just NO to CGI But song, dance is just SO GOOOOOOOD! |
| That was quite the long night with everyone letting themselves out. It felt a little dragged when one member does something, every other member has to too to be fair. The Triple S tounrmanet. The ending blended so well with the mentioning of revolutiuon that I thought it was part of it... I miss this over-the-top president, he's just quite enjoyable... |

| Mostly re-introductions. Does anyone else think they said Revolution? too much XD I'm looking forward to the music and animation as always. Obviously, STARISH is going to get to sing at the Triple S. Sometimes I wish this anime wouldn't be so predictable and whatnot, but the music and animation make it worth it I guess :P Ichinose is definitely still my favorite. It'll be interesting to see how each of them tries to get even closer to Nanami... |
| that was so boring. i kept on waiting for the episode to end. the animation during the characters' dancing didn't get any better either. i'm just watching it for the voice acting cast at this point |

| Introduction episode as usual. Ending is fabuluous, but the loud screaming makes it difficult to enjoy the song. There are some improvements on the dance animation, cgi is annoying but at least it's still okay-ish Guilty pleasure of the season |

| Best things about UtaPri are 1) pretty good songs 2) that it makes fun of reverse harem/shoujo cliches. This episode lacked both, unfortunately. The introduction was so dragged it hurt (although Camus had the golden moment) and QN's op song was weak, sounded like the ending of Kamigami no Asobi :/ Which I disliked a lot. I really hope that the next QN's song sounds more like Poison Kiss (which is one of UtaPri bests, AND the lyrics are straightforwardly about sex, interesting choice) rather than this shit. I won't rate the ending song yet, because I could barely hear anything, but Maji Love 2000% was so good I loved it since the begining, I don't feel the same about this one. Hopefully at least Mamoru Miyano will show how things should be done, both Orhpeus and Canon were so good! <3 |

| Ugh what's with anime and CGI these days :I the last two seasons had more bizarre movements but were animated by hand, but eh the episode wasnt that great, but quartet night <3 I hope for the return of HEAVENS. |

| This first episode was mostly about re-introducing the characters again, which made it seem pretty slow. However, the songs that Quartet Night/ Starish sang were really good. Hopefully along the way, the pace will speed up. I still have high hopes for this anime, considering since its one of my favorites. (Yay utapri!) :) |

| I know that I'm not the only one who shipps Tomochika with Haruka. I mean, come on, she gets more exciting talking to her bff than with the boys. Eleven guys hitting on her and she's like "oooh, friendzone is such a good thing :D" ww What was that quartet night dance? I have to admit that I don't like Quartet Night. Ranmaru is cool, Reiji is annoying (Morikubo Showtaro suits better in a sadistic character if you know what I mean// cof Okita cof), Ai is another shota and Camus... Well, he's kind of funny xD I haven't played their routes in the game yet, so my opinion might change someday. When I first saw UtaPri, I screamed. The same happened with the second season's dance. But that MMD effect was disappointing. |

| wowww. the world's slowest 16 minutes ever. like stark said it definitely did seem very fantasy-like at first with the lighting and all. the execution was just so awkward though. i can imagine that this was meant to happen with only one of the guys, but the show wanted us to see this scene with everyone. but with all the introduction it's as if they thought we forgot the cast after 2 seasons of this. the dance moves in quartet night's song was also awkward to watch. haha i guess it's been a while where i watched a show where the selling point wasn't necessarily plot. that said, their song was pretty amazing and i'm looking forward to hearing the full version. <3 also dat cgi. i can't even with this show. it looks awkward with mecha; it looks ten times more awkward with humans. but it was nice to see some sort of a plot going. i'll be bummed if starish straight up steals the spot from quartet night though. hopefully there's some idealistic ending where they both get a chance to perform or something. :u |

I think they might redo the dance in full 2D for the final performance, but still, it's the key dance/song of the S3... I like the uniforms, they look nice... but again kinda generic for a male group. (Nice hand movements too.) But I couldn't get hyped enough to fangirl. OTL I really hope it's at least full 2D for the finale. |

| its great the Uta no prince-sama series has started again, but although I'm excited and all I feel episode 1 was kinda slow in story progression. well it's just the characters re-appearances at the moment so maybe in the next episode things will shift into a higher and cheerful tone, right? :) |

| So my guilty pleasure is back for S3! I can't believe Haruka is that much of a ditz that she didn't realize she had 7 men confess their undying love for her and then have 3 more hint at it! Tokiya is still my #1, but after this episode my #2 is now tied between Ren and Cecil! They all still tug at my heart though! Great beginning to the new season, new Starish song at the end! Too bad I couldn't hear it over the screaming fans! |

| OMG the CGI in the ending!! horrific T_T It was a slow first episode but good enough for everyone's fangirling feels! Because they'll probably focus on the characters one by one as usual after this so at least all the fangirls start out happy at first ^^ I liked the OP a lot! ED song was quite nice too. JUST NO CGI PLS T.T well... at least they didn't use CGI for Ren's playing cause I remember i thought it looked hella strange in season 1 xD Everyone is back! Haruka's male harem is back! ^o^ Looking forward to the next episodes! |

| Really slow episode, I kept seeing the seek bar and thought when this episode end :/. Still wondering since when all the senpais had an eyes for haruka, the last season barely shown any senpais interaction with her. Oh well, but after that slow introduction everything went fine, especially the revolutions part. In the end it seems utapri never fail to amuse me hahaha |

How did I never think of that her and tomochika go really well together. At a point I think in like s1 I shipped her with ringo-sensei the most but yeah her and her best friend would be really cute too. :D |

CAMUS PLEASE haha i loved it. the most boring first episode to the worst anime ever. but i shamelessly indulged in each moment of it. YES CAMUS yes more Quartet Night. Because I love them more than STARISH i am looking forward to this. My fav are Tokiya and Camus over all but ngl it pains my soul to see Tokiya and Haruka (yep i am that person). i not too worried about Camus though. as for who Haruka best matches... i always thought her and Masato as well or her and Otoya. oh also i am really tired i understand why but i am really tired of this anime having to reintroduce everyone each season! haruka is so not into Cecil it hurts. it's so obvious. and nacchan(s intro was so out of chracter! i don't even cae if he was having a tender moment at the tree he was so out of character right there. masato is so awkward i thnk iwanna throw up for him. |

| Well, this time around they didn't even care about a plot for her meeting everyone again, did they. Tokiya is as lovely as always. I really hope that the vibes I got from this episode mean we'll get more focus on the senpais, since they incorpored some of the elements from their routes (Camus being an over-the-top noble with his horse Stallion, Ai starting to have feelings, Ranmaru and his loneliness, Reiji being less cheerful and innocent than he seems to be) Quartet Night's new song is nice. I like both the music and the video. That CG with Starish, tho... |

| UtaPri fandom, it's time to riiiiiiise. Not gonna lie, I was way more excited about this series than I should be. UtaPri is my guilty pleasure. Looks like this season is going to focus on the Quartet Night boys more. I'm glad, Ai is my favourite! I kinda hope HEAVENS will come back at some point too though I doubt it. Hmm, the new ending song is alright but I prefer 1000% and 2000%. It'll probably grow on me by the end of the season though. Quartet Night's new song is pretty good too. Hyuga's face when he and Ringo are wearing the angel wings. Everyone was cute. Glad to see them all again. |
| I felt like it was a little pointless spending pretty much the entire episode on re-introducing everyone.... It's not like many people would really start an anime from the third season, so for those who have seen the first two seasons, it's pretty much a waste of time. On the brighter side, it was interesting how they chose to use Quartet Night for the OP song. It gave me (false?) hope that they would play a bigger role this season. (More Ranmaru please!!) I liked how they used the BGM to illustrate each character's different musical styles. Some familiar tunes like Tokiya's BGM made for delicious ear food. Ren's saxophone solo and Masoto's piano score were great too. I can't say I enjoyed this season's ED as much as the first and second one. The melody and rhythm definitely didn't feel as catchy as its predecessors. I especially disliked the use of the MMD-esque 3D models, which were reminiscent of Sailor Moon Crystal. Why couldn't they have kept everything 2D?! The animation was perfect if disregarding them.... Let's hope they surprise us this season with more memorable songs (that I can add to my car playlist)! <3 |

| I thought this episode was a little boring, but then again it was introductions again xD I was somewhat confused if it was going to focus more on Quartet Night first, but it looks like the main cast is still going to be the center of attention. (I'm fine with that since it's good for me ^^) The ending song was able to make to squeal like a little girl again like last season's episode OTL The 3D CG effects will have to take a while for me to get used to though. |
| It was sooo boring. The only thing that was great is the start of the episode like, seriously, QUARTET NIGHT is way better than STARISH. I got excited when Saotome said Nanami would write QUARTET NIGHT's song but those jealous boys couldn't accept it, I suppose. xD I hope episode 2 to be better tho. |

| AND THEY'RE BACK! Nanami's doki doki moments with each guy is so cute, especially Syo-chan's and Ittoki's. Ittoki was suuuuper close in confessing his love but DAMN IT! And then Syo-chan has like, the best confession scene lol. My bias <3 Oh.my.God. Mikaze's voice...so beautiful. *sigh* These boys just can't sit back and watch can they? Well, I hope things will get interesting soon :D |
| The episode was annoying. I mean, first and second season were similar on that part, but I didn't feel it so much then. But now... maybe my tastes had changed. I like cheesiness in general. However, what the characters said... no. Just stop. That repetition of 'revolution' word was just frustrating. Every one of them had to say it, really? It was so unnecessary. Just leave the part when they all say it, that would be enough. And the ending. 3D. I know I should get used to this as it's everywhere, but still, I didn't like it. Well, I think I will watch the next episode, just to give another chance. 3/5 because I got to see Cecil and Ranmaru. |
