| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That was great. I like this season's OP song as well. The way this episode started was intense. Chaika gets into a duel already with another mage. Ah, and her appetite was amusing to watch. And seriously, Akari trying to get close with Tooru in the bedroom was just priceless. Good to see Fredrica back as well. Anyways, I'm happy to see this series back. Shame it will be only 10 episodes :( Vivi's changed a bit but I think I can get used to it. |

| Chaika is finally back! The new OP for Chaika was great, definitely dig it. It sucks that it's only going to be 10 episodes...but hey, it's better than none I guess, right? Anyways, very intense start to the episode. Can't wait to see more of Chaika's cute, clueless expressions and hopefully some badass action scenes. |

| Shocking Truth is back! More than a first episode it seemed like an instant follow up from the past season <_< About the episode it felt quite meh, the interesting thing is that spells can be shortened. Hope they can get the fragments from Claudia >_> I want to see more about Chaika´s past >_< |
| Epic intro and Ane Epic Ending song. Also the first episode did not disappoint it started of great. The Mystery is still present if anything it made even more mysterious. Gaz was definitely planning something before he died and still dont get how the chaikas are made and fit in all of this and Guy still the mysterious informer. Also dont worry they adapted the first part of vol 7 and it is going well. :) Also next week red Chaika will be back and trust me it will be even better than she showed up last time |
| Yes It's back! And only 10 episodes huh? Well anyway it's still good to have it back as they announced last Spring Season. At the Prologue We've finally seen Emperor Gaz and his back story. Also they don't really waste the time and put a fight already but in the end it's actually a mock battle just to take back the remains. And as I thought Vivi was really a Chaika too. And yes the Red Chaika is Back! |

| Claudia is quite OP with her short incantation magics. I like her courtesy though, much expected from one of the 8 heroes. So, Vivi did turn into Chaika! Guy appears and reconfirms her current identity. Plot if taking quite an interesting turn. Battle begins. Toru and Akari are just as badass as ever. Hopefully Chaika will find a counterattack against Claudia. Good start. Both OP & ED songs are awesome. Looking forward to Red Chaika's appearance next week. |

| Oh man it picked up right after the last season. They're keeping the excitement level up high and everything about this season seems better executed than the last season. Satisfied. People try. Recommend. |
| Strong episode, I'm glad this got a second season. It's always refreshing to see a show where "just try harder and you'll get better than your opponent overnight" doesn't just magically work. |

| It was fun just like in the first series, but the fact that there's going to be only 9 more episodes made me kind of sad. I haven't read the LN so I don't know how the situation looks, but I expected much more chaika vs. chaika action, since they're "appearing all over the continent" and stuff. I don't think you can fit much story into 10 episodes, but maybe I'm wrong. By the way, what's up with the emperor's body? How did they cut it up into 8 parts (1 for every hero I assume) and some dude ended up with eyes and another with just a hand. Is there some dude with a whole torso? |

| I've missed this show! I mean I read the novels (that were translated), started the manga, and the spin off manga, and I've been rewatching it with my roommate... But its nice to get new episodes once again! Even if its only 10 of them... It was a nice episode! I wish more of Vivi and her issues would have been shown. I'm with everyone else though, its funny and ironic that Chaika can't shorten her spells. I don't think the mysterious man on the cliff was Gillette, he seems more like Shin Acura, the saboteur who trained Toru and Akari. It would be interesting if one of the Eight Heroes was a Saboteur, we would get some pretty awesome action scenes. I think the reason the animation looks better is due to the fact that BONES isn't airing 3 shows at the same time, and there's less episodes so they can make the animation better in the ones they have. Anyway I'm looking forward to the rest of this series! |

| Good intro. Felt kind of abrupt to be suddenly seeing the trio in battle mode though. The action scenes were enjoyable as always. And the mystery of Chaika continues. And yeah, what's Shin doing in the shadows? |

| FINALLY!!! How I miss the adorable Chaika and Akari's deadpan jokes XD So Gaz was actually real and Chaika might really be his daughter. I wonder how and why Vivi only half-transformed. I thought they were all clones but now it doesn't seem so. Certainly didn't disappoint and they went straight into action! The animation seems to have improved too. I hope they don't rush this seeing as there are only 10 episodes. |

| Wow. Just wow. Chaika is back... with kaboom. Hopefully it only gets better from here... can't wait for my questions from S1 to be answered. Also, it's first time I've seen in non-book non-videogame fantasy works that main character is defeated in spellcasting duel not because of pure power difference, "because the story demands" or similar reason, but because of spellcasting speed. |
