| Great episode. I thought Rock was just going to be another of those bland anime leads but he showed he had some backbone and put "Rebecca" back in her place. And nearly got killed doing it. The cigarette kiss was a perfect way to end the episode, the literal kiss and make up. There was so much LOL in this episode. Balalaika editing a po*n vid and Revy saying -"Is she taking it up the as*? Yup!" |

| Loved this episode, my favorite so far probably. I love the contrast of Rock and Revy, and that Rock actually stands up for himself. Super entertaining show with interesting characters |

| great episode. and yeah he was able to decipher the smuggled drugs by the cleaners. lol at the edit porn, Revy was soo interested in that :P also it seems Rebecca is her full name huh??? that Eda nun is scary :P ahahaha Revy giving her the finger _l_ still don't like Rock though. the guy is freaking annoying, but at least he made Revy realize that Violence is not the answer for everything. while the cigarrte kiss was good, still don't like that Rock guy. |
| I thought that Revy wasnt able to kill him..... but rock only survived cause he bravely faced her.... it seems difficult to revy to accept someone facing her like that.. With rock in the team... black lagoon will improve his methods and cure the "insane-agressive" side of Revy |

| Definitely the best episode of the show so far. Love the relationship between Rock and Revy and how they worked their conflict out. Nice to see Rock standing up to Revy and while doing so reaffirming a certain moral character, without becoming annoying like a lot of shounen heroes are. |

Overall perfect ending with the "kiss", awesome lines ("want me to teach you how to smoke through your forehead?", "there is no medicine for violent idiots.") and great scenes (the nuns scene, the porn editing scece) Perfect.Perfect. |
| Great episode. Dutch is a genius, forcing both Revy and Rock on errand boy missions so they can work on their sexual tension. Plus it's nice to see the early stages of Rock's verbal badassery. Plus that indirect cigarette kiss between Revy and Rock is the most romantic thing I've seen in an anime. |
| Freaking amazing episode! Nice to see Rock stand up for himself, and it was also nice to see resolution between the two. That ending will be the closest we get to a kiss. :( |

| Am I the only one who thought the ending was strangely touching? I never thought I would get the same smile on my face as I would watching a romance. I'm beginning to like this series a lot more! | Favorite episode so far. Revy's face when seeing that porn was funny. Also both Rock and Revy showed multiple sides here. Rock being a whimp, sharp observator and negotiater, and finally badass in that standoff. Revy kinda came from the other side, she was bitching around to the point of being abusive in the car, she was surprised by and curious that porn despite her colorful history, got reduced to statist in the church, and finally Rock won the fight/argument. Neither is Rock your average useless male main character, nor is Revy all-powerful. She doesn't know some things, is almost useless when violence doesn't help, she is physically weaker than Rock, who only was office worker (but she probably has more endurance and certainly better reflexes), and while she started out with guns blazing, she resorted to throwing that bottle with chopsticks down and even child like arguments like "you are the bigger idiot" (so at this point she basically accepted that she is an idiot..). |

| This was one of the best episodes i've seen in any anime. I really loved the background we got on both Rock and Revi and I loved how Rock is finally showing some balls. |

| The first half was pretty funny, but that second half...all i can say is WOW! It was just so well done. I got so much more respect for Rock now. He stood up for himself and told Revy off. I'm glad she snapped out of that mood she had been in for several episodes. Very nice ending too in the police car. |

| i couldn't stop laughing at revy's expressions when they met the Russian lady uhh "editing" some... movie.... really aired some laundry out... you gotta love revy, she can only kill and steal. nice and simple. never thought cigarette lighting could be so romantic. rock's right though, if revy didn't take him from the boat that day... his life would have been rat race hell again. i'd like to see them do a drinking contest again ;) |

| Another great episode, absolutely delighted to see Rock stand up to Revy like that and pretty much prove that he isn't just your typical weak male MC who gets pushed around all the time, if it wasn't already clear anyway. |

| I must be one of the few who didnt like it that much. I agree though that the drama and character development are good and are also really good for the show. But I just cant see how Rock was able to stop revy like that, especially when she had just shown us how she could kill dozens of soldiers in the blink of an eye. I take comfort in thinking that she was too moved to be able to kill a rabbit like Rock. |
