I'm just another person who ocassionally gets around to watching anime. I like to form my own opinions and I'm interested in trying a variety of different shows. Currently planning to get through most of the anime I've heard good things about from people I've come to respect the opinion of. I might also go through some of the most popular series just to get a good grip on the medium in general and get a decent catalogue to draw comparisons from. I don't consider myself an "otaku" or "anime-fan" by any means, just someone who enjoys good stories, atmospher and suspense, with no prejudice towards animation being strictly for kids.This means my views on some shows will be extremely different to the average member on this site, as some very typical anime tropes may not sit as well with me as with you.
