| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- On the way to the old house. lol @ Nyanko-sensei coming along!! First to the place he stayed a while to get the key, but is also afraid of youkai in that house (wanting him to write a mouth). The child of that family didn't like him for the constant action that caused by him seeing that youkai. The family talks bad mouth about the family right now, and Natsume got caught by the youkai. Nyanko-sensei saved him. Mushikui, they grew by eating insects and eventually eat humans' dark heart. The girl told her true feeling (felt that he acted like that so he can take her parents away), and saw that youkai outside, so he led it follow to prevent it from eating them. Nice memory of their talk. When searching for the house, the youkai got into him!! "Must return".. |

| I think that this is by far the best cliffhanger this series has had. Can't wait for next week! I'm kind of sad since know we know that next week is the last episode, I guess that it was to be expected following the preview. But for some reason I feel like he won;t actually get to go see his house. Anyway I can't wait for next week! ------ For those that are reading the manga and are up to date with the latest chapters, do you know if it is approaching an ending? |

| Nooooo Natsume! :O What an evil cliffie haha XD. I have faith Natsume will get through it alright with a little help from Nyanko-sensei ;). Looks like the finale next week will dwelve further into Natsume's childhood. I really hope there's going to be a fifth series of Natsume Yuujinchou. This series is just too awesome :). |
| That cliff-hanger is very frustrating and it was finally getting a bit better with him. Miyoko also seemed to be able to forgive him. It's a shame that spirit was around else she would have gotten a entirely different opinion of him a much better one. |
| Wonderful episode <3 So beautiful looking back on old memories and seeing faults. It's going to be a great climax and ending next episode! The ending of this one surprised me for sure :) Does anyone know anything of a new season coming out? I'm really anxious for one ^-^ |
| My heart can't take this, Natsume is just too cute, I loved when he said his dad was really really nice. That cliffanger made me sad, but next episode seems like a happy one, with Natsume and all his friends (yay Taki!) Oh, I can't believe next episode is the last one, I'll miss Natsume so much ;_; |

| Such a wonderful episode. When Natsume was saying how nice his father was, the excitement in his eyes... so touching yet so lovely. Miyoko was a little girl. And it was understandable of why she would get mad at Natsume. It often happens with young children when they think they are not getting enough attention for some other kid. But seeing the change in the way she thought of Natsume... well his good looks helped a bit, I won't disregard that... but to see that she is willing to understand that she was only a kid herself back then, was nice. Also, for us to understand how much her parents cared about Natsume, it goes back to a different time. Remember that Natsume was a teen when he used to live with a family of three where his distant cousin was the only one who was nice to him. Recall that muffler episode? From where the Fujiwaras took him in from the hospital? While Natsume lived with Miyoko's parents, he was just a child. Miyoko's family keeping the knowledge of Natsume's whereabouts after all these years, and the Fujiwaras meeting them before taking Natsume in, tells the entire story. They really did care for him. And I have a feeling it was because of Miyoko he had to move on. But we cannot blame her, because she was so young herself. :) Next episode is the final episode for this season. And with the way we want it, this is not going to be an end. There will be another season, and then another, and another. I refuse to believe Natsume will come to an end. I hope Midorikawa-sensei keeps on writing on her Natsume Manga. T_T The friends show up in the next episode. I so adore their friendship. <3 10/10 And it will never change. Oh! and damn that cliffhanger! |

| This episode was so very anxiety provoking! I was like "DONT listen to the scary youkai Natsume!" "Where are you Nyanko-sensei! SAVE NATSUME!" lol. I really hope we learn more about his family. I'm guessing since Reiko kept her last name she didn't get married, but I really want to know who his grandfather is. I mean who is the man that Reiko, the human hater, fell in love with! I also want to know how they died too, Reiko, his dad and, if his grandfather is dead, how he died too. And how is Tohko related to Natsume. I'm suspecting this show will have at least two more seasons because I think Natsume's story will end when he graduates high school and he only has one more year left and since each season is half the school year there should be two more. I was wondering recently after noticing that natsume in the manga has silver/white hair and eyes what he'd look like animated and then I watched Hotarubi no Mori e (another anime created by Midorikawa-sensei) and Gin, a main character, kind of looks like Natsume but he actually has silver hair and eyes. So if you want to know what Natsume would look like check it out. Can't wait for next week's episode! I love you Natsume!!! |

| This ep' was lovely and it seemed to fly by too fast. I'm looking forward to seeing around Natsume's childhood home and wondering if we'll find out more about his family, though I'm looking forward to seeing a potentially possessed Natsume a tad more. The monster following Natume will no doubt be the beniefical situation for the family, as the teen girls negitivity would only cause that thing to grow stronger (I guessed that towards the start). shanimebib said: Miyoko was a little girl. I though she was a brat. :o Not down to her actions as a little girl, but still lingering on an unavoidable, past situation without being reasonable. Natsume turns up at his old town for a short period of time for one specific reason and the only thing that's on her mind is; 'I don't want him visiting; he's gloomy (dispite him seeming positive when speaking to her when they were children) and he hogged my parents attention' - ignoring the fact that her parents are good people who chose to be generous and many would be proud of them, plus, she seemed to want to be in the right; as she looked smug when she saw him in a compromising state. Girl needs to grow up - no doubt she will in the next ep', but in this one, she was rotten. :P |

| Why you, cliffhanger. Why you—! Man, that youkai certainly spells trouble. Miyoko was pretty much a brat as a kid but I guess that’s plausible for her age, even if Natsume never did anything bad. The fact he was there was enough to make her easily envious that her own parents were treating a complete stranger so kindly, thus “hogging up their attention”. At least she’s willing to realise her mistakes and unnecessarily bitter attitude towards the boy. I want to see that old house. Off to the last episode of the season ♥ |

| Season 4 is going for a very strong finish. If you think about it, the yokai represented a part of Natsume's psyche, his inner darkness. Obviously when Natsume was very lonely and abandoned by everyone in the past, he must have struggled with those feelings on a daily basis. Who wouldn't, really? |

The other family had parents who didn't like him, but a son who was okay with Natsume. It's nice to know that there was a caring aunt and uncle. That youkai though was indeed creepy. I can see why Natsume was shaking from fear when he saw it, and not only that, it's one of his childhood trauma from living in that house. But that last part >< |

These few new characters sure are interesting as well and just to see a flashback once in a while is quite lovely as well! Let's see what the last episode of this season has to offer us! |

| why is he so afraid of a youkai?(i quite understand a bit that its linked with his childhood) not like its the first time he see one, and he even known that one was in the house, sound illogical to me, while the whole series, there was many situation more scary that this and he didnt do anything strange like this episode... anyway not a so bad episode but yeah lacked a bit of logic for me |

| NATSUME!!! If I had been sitting in a chair I would have fallen out of it. I know it will all work out alright (it better do) but I'm still really glad I'm watching this once the series has finished and I don't have to wait a whole week to find out what happens! That must have been torture. Also, perhaps I'm being a bit harsh but I thought that girl was cold-hearted bitch - you think when she looked back on her horrible bullying conduct to a poor young boy who has just become orphaned and is alone in the world that she might show some remorse as an adult. But no, she shakes it away as nothing. Talk about being incapable of feeling empathy... |
