| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So, just finished watching this and I thought it was preaty good. At first I really didnt know what it was, I just saw this torrent on nyaa and thought I would download. The story was preaty good dating back to the Team 7 days and revolves somewhat around Sasuke. Overall it was decent but the whole thing being in CG was alittle weird. |

| Quite an unusual little episode there. I quite enjoyed the nostalgic aspects of it in 3D. The end scene was a little "wooahh, what's going on here?!" kind of moment. I can only speculate that it kind of relates to the stuff in Shippuuden atm. Harem jutsu FTW! |

Especially when it worked for a change XD Nice to see the characters the way they were at the beginning. Brings back memories. And the music and ending song as well. Though it seemed that the bit after the credits was kind of out of place. I mean, looking at when it was aired, it made a pretty big giveaway, didn't it? I mean, for the people who haven't read the manga. And it kind of spoiled it a bit for me after that nostalgic episode (seen all the eps and read all the manga so far). |

| In fact, the only reason for me to watch this special was the fact that the filler persons seiyuu is the same as Takasugi in Gintama xD (which i like to listen very much) :P Story was set between Haku arc and Chuunin exams arc, but it didnt feel like it. Random action showed in 3D. Yeah, the fact of watching Naruto in 3D made me laugh by the time i watched it. I've watched it with my sister and our comments was like "Look, Naruto in 3D" and every other thing that appeared on the screen was "Look, thats 3D". Yeah, we had fun xD But it felt as a game, rly. |

| Lol, a thousand years of death and still the best when Naruto or Kakashi use it. The battle isnt that "woah" thing, but the graphics is like playing a console. I dont remember Sasuke and Ouch together even in the manga..?? |

| Aside from the facial expressions being a bit stiff, this was most excellent. A trip down memory lane; a flashback to when Naruto and Sasuke fought together, Sakura needed protecting and Orochimaru was the main villain. Did the 10th anniversary justice. Orochimaru re-entering his body as a small snake was just a tiny bit spoilerish, mind. Even without reading further, I can now guess the shot of the snake slithering away from the Sasuke vs. Itachi fight meaning Orochimaru lives. |

| An average OVA. The usual Ninja mission with the same hostage and rescue scenario.. a rare team up combo with Naruto and Sasuke fighting on the same side. The 3D-ish animation wasn't to my liking.. They were a bit stiff and sorta felt like a computer game.. I still would pick the normal hand drawn original type of animation any day! A sidenote.. watch till the end of the credits.. i nearly missed it myself haha.. somehow it connects the OVA to the present storyline in Shippuuden. |

That is wrong :p That little white snake coming out after Itachi seals Orochimaru away is later on caught into the black flames of Amaterasu and dies. Which kinda makes the whole little snake scene pretty useless, aside for giving you the chill of thinking Itachi might have sacrificed himself in vain if he couldn't even seal the snakes. But... Itachi totally owned Oro there. Moar love for this awesome character plz :X |

| So, Naruto in 3d. Why not ? It's nice to see the team 7 once again. The scene takes place after the event of the Land of Waves but it's actually a flashback of Sasuke after he joins Akatsuki. The principal point of this OAV is the 3d, the scenario doesn't matter after all. And I think it's successful. |
