| Touya knew all along.. He is really something, i think maybe Mizuki Snsei came in the past because she thought Touya will be the chosen cardcaptor? Until she found out he was not, so she went away then coming back for sakura? |

| ok, the new opening is finally growing on me. this was a sweet episode, especially meilin showing concern for sakura. and toya noticing the mirror card right away! does their father know about toya's ability to sense the supernatural? he seemed very accepting when toya said their mom was in the room. |
| One of the most eventful episodes by far. Finally we find out Toya knows about what Sakura is truly doing, and lots of foreshadowing with Yuki and Kaho as well. Also a visit from Sakura's mom AND some development with Meiling and Li as well. It seems Li is getting a bit more mature and Meiling somewhat more likable (it was quite sweet when she helped Sakura with the card). Also Kero seems to have a new found respect for Li after he gave the card to Sakura. Really well-rounded episode overall. |
| My god This rain is lovely The atmosphere of a languid, rainy day and getting by even with a fever. Man MADHOUSE. Shit man, it's all artful. And THEN here we have Touya once again. Clow Reed, it makes me wonder what the heck everyone's hiding their magical powers for. |

Which is where I guess his magical power works- he can notice magic, but not be able to use that. Which would also be why he had no problem figuring out the mirror'd Sakura. And I guess it was Mirror that sent out the Illusion card as thanks to Sakura. That was very sweet of the Mirror card, sending out the Illusion card and bringing Sakura's mother. Either that or Sakura's mother coming to cure her was no magic at all. I was waiting for Kero to burst our laughing when Touya was staring at him so firmly for like a while. So the secret's out, Touya knows about Sakura's adventures. This is quite interesting, I wonder if he'll ever see her sealing the cards. |

| Huh. This was a pretty interesting episode. Toya's suspicion of Kero being a normal doll has been simmering for awhile now, so I was really interested in seeing how he would react to encountering Mirror again, seeing that he saw through Mirror last time anyway. The resulting conversation confirmed what I thought. Toya has a vague idea of what's going on with Sakura. I'm not sure if that has more to do with his previous relationship with Kaho (as opposed to his own magical talent), or if it's simple deduction. The situation with Lock and Kaho's subtle (but noticeable) reaction to it in the previous episode, his suspicions of Kero, and Mirror's reappearance in Sakura's bedroom may be enough for him to surmise that Sakura is chasing magical entities. Further, Toya's brief conversation with their father at the end of the episode may be implying that their father has knowledge of magical ability and the supernatural (whether because he himself possesses ability, or because his wife did and he knew about it). If that's true, that would be really interesting, especially since we never got an explanation for the book of Clow Cards originally residing in their father's library. Maybe the Clow Cards were a magic being passed down along Sakura's father's or mother's family line? It's certainly plausible given the existence of families like Li's family. Plenty of food for thought. Something I appreciate about Cardcaptor Sakura in relation to other mahou shoujo is the reversal of cause and consequence. I think the tendency in most is for the protagonist(s) to have magical ability because they're magical girls, whereas in CCS the reverse is true: Sakura becomes a magical girl because she has magical ability. It's a fine but noteworthy distinction because it allows for other otherwise normal people to have magical ability without necessarily being a magical girl in the sense Sakura is. For example, Clow, the man who created the Clow Cards and thus enabled someone's magical ability to take the form of a magical girl/guy, along with people like Li who has offensive magical abilities independent of the Clow Cards. It gives the setting a bit of a different flavor, and it makes the apparent upcoming conflict with Kaho all the more interesting. |

| I do not know how to interpret this episode and the appearance of Sakura's mother. Even Touya has powers, the matter becomes more interesting. The narrative for once is a little different from the usual, even if the pace is very slow. |

| Sakura's very sick but she refused to let that get in the way of her schedule to the point of acting really recklessly. It's a good thing that Li was there to help her out. Touya telling MIRROR that he knew that she was an imposter set by Sakura was a gigantic shock to me but him seeing his mother descend down from heaven to help her daughter out was even more so. I also got emotional there~ Kinomoto Father and Son proved to be very perceptive people in this episode. |

| So, Touya knows that Sakura is the cardcaptor, but he's not saying anything. Sakura's mother healed her, and Sakura knew that she was there. That was certainly an emotional scene. Also, I was surprised that Li gave Sakura the card. His feelings for her are becoming more and more apparent. |

| Sonofabitch! Touya knows! Though honestly, it makes sense given the lore of past episodes. Kaho in the past says that powerful people attract powerful people. This tracks. Touya attracted Kaho. We know that Kaho is psychic, so obviously Touya is psychic as well. Even without factoring that, Touya has seen spirits in the past, and he currently sees the spirit of their mother. Touya has also been suspicious of Kero, and has blatantly stared at him before. So Touya is psychic and knows that something isn't right with Kero. Though he also seems to know about her sealing the cards. This is actually interesting. |
| What an adorable episode! I loved the sick, rainy atmosphere. Poor Sakura and her fever, sometimes I forget she really is a 5th grader. Meiling and Kero arguing was super cute too. Toya was so caring! |

| Probably Nadeshiko's hand Sakura was dreaming of? Kero did well in that staring match against Touya, I was laughing at that scene. Very clever Sakura, using the mirror card. I was right about Touya, he kinda knows what's going on, that was quick of him to realize the mirror wasn't the real Sakura. Ah so it was Nadeshiko, even Touya gets to see her, great moment. |
