| I personally prefer Dead Dead Demons Dededede Destruction and Dungeon Meshi, but I'd say it's deserved because Frieren has the right mix of action and contemplativeness to appeal to both young beginners and old experts and come out at the top of any chart. |

Most end eligibility before Fall starts for that year and it gets carried over. Crunchyroll normally did this as well but this year they decided to change it to the calendar year, but since that would exclude Fall 2023 entirely, they're making this years eligibility period 5 seasons from Fall 2023 to Fall 2024 and doing the awards in April.
There's also issues of anime being in multiple eligibility years like only the first arc of JJK S2 being eligible and winning awards last year (which I think is kind of dumb) so I'm not sure how award shows deal with it individually. I think it should be edible in the year it ends, otherwise you're voting for something that could end up terrible before it does. Not including long ongoing anime anyway, they should be their own category.

| The best of 2024 is hard to say since there were so many crap anime and only a few I have given a good score. I'd probably say Konosuba 3, The Fable, Mushoku Tensei 2/2, Boukyaku Battery and a few more in not a particular order. This fall season though had 1 very surprisingly good anime which I'm truly enjoying but it's not over yet. Goukon ni Ittara Onna ga Inakatta Hanashi. Also Hyakushou Kizoku 2nd Season. |

| I say Frieren or Apothecary Diaries. But imo none of them should count because they didn’t start airing in 2024 like Kaiju No 8 or Dandadan. Oshi No Ko season 2 I only watched for my beloved Ai, I dropped the series after that season. Haven’t watched Delicious in Dungeon so I can’t talk about that. |

| Boring pick but it is probably frieren, Look back, oshi no ko and dungeon meshi are all respectable picks though. Though tbh only half of frieren came out this year, so one could argue that it shouldn't count. |

| I am confused between frieren and kusuriya no hitorigoto. but I can only choose one so I had to go with frieren. Haven’t watched dungeon meshi yet. Oshi no ko S2 was boring so I dropped it. |
