I saw Tamayura on your profile and it was also in Kamichu's recommendations. It's fun, light and bright. However, since I'm not getting the beauty of Neo-Venezia, I can't relate it to Aria. The characters are quite similar to Aria tho. The whole anime felt like a nice blend of Aria and Non Non Biyori (and probably a bit of Sora Yori too).

So far I've only watched the first OVA and two episodes of Hitotose. I have pretty high expectations!

Yes. I was quite confused how and when they met Al when he appeared in the anime. They skipped his introduction chapter. Also the anime was not very good at adapting the art. The manga has a beautiful art-styles while the anime felt a bit off.

The story is simply beautiful. The world, characters and conversations felt very real and natural. I think I like almost every quote there. The the story started slow and laid-back. Then reached to moment of stagnancy. And then suddenly everything started changing. There was so much life in the story. It felt like as bright as morning. Also I don't think I've seen anything more optimistic than Aria.

Well, I was searching for YKK reconstructions myself and found this Hakimei and Mikochi on reddit. I think I'll try the manga. The characters looked a bit like MiA so I was kinda uncomfortable... Thanks for the recommendation I'll try it.

The anime looks like it's probably gonna tank, but already has a lot of controversy due to the age gap, and I'm a sucker for watching trainwrecks lol The story might actually be good, so its at least worth a 3ep watch on my book.

And to be fair, theres been quite a few age gap shows I've seen where there wasn't as much an uproar like: Please! Teacher, Loveless, Inu Boku Ss, Fruits Basket! and Domestic Girlfriend. Or Sessohmoaru and Rin in InuYasha..but thats another story...
