| Shinobu asks Araragi to pretend to be her servant to impress her old master. They use Kanbaru's mansion to make it look like Shinobu's castle, but the plan doesn't really work. While Suicide-Master and Shinobu reunite, Gaen takes Araragi outside to talk. They found the fifth missing girl's belongings, like her school uniforms, in the locker room. This could mean the culprit is trying to mess with the investigation, and the information might have been leaked. Gaen also shares that DNA tests show the vampire genes in the mummies match Suicide-Master’s. |

| I find Shinobu throwing this idea after all this time actually really hilarious for some reason. I mean it shows she wants to leave an impression on Deathtopia when she wakes up lol. Though this never occurred to any of us before as well, but yeah, the idea of Araragi paying Shinobu’s slave is really something. After all, we're so used to Shibou’s “aruji-sama” , that yeah, she not playing the one who ain’t calling someone her master feels odd. That being that btw, I think I’m kind of liking how they’re messing with us, with all this puzzle solving, which in turn is making this mystery even more of a mystery xD Great to see Karen back, though hey, I hope we get more of her, as I mean she got just interrogated(not exactly) here and that was it lol. I also hope to see Kanbaru questioning more when it comes to giving someone the keys to her house. Anyway, this arc really is digging deep when it comes to how these vampires have felt for humans for all this time, and what it feels for them to be alive. Though being around two resident vampires now, this should be obvious. Just two loli showing their range of laugh… brief of the last two minutes. Really some reunion it was. |

| Looks like a lot of laughter during their first meeting in a long time. Let's see if their reunion will be a emotional one. Anyway they got some new hints and the main culprit is awake so hopefully they can solve the case. Next week should be interesting. |

| I swear Kanbaru kills me sometimes. Don't know what's going on but willing to be Araragi's slave. Bit surprised he called Soadchi of all people with the same request. Good to see Karen but I wonder how many punching bags she goes through in a day. I wonder how Shinobu would answer that question now though. I find it a bit funny that Shinobu is saying they've gotten older and yet they've regressed to a younger version of themselves. Straight up thought that Suicide-Master was going to cut the laughing spree short and try to kill her |

| The vampires reunite, and it all begins with laughs... It's interesting how much Shinobu wants to impress her master and friend, Deathtopia, by switching the master-slave roles with Koyomi, at least for the time being. You can tell just how much Deathtopia means to her. There's still a lot to unpack with the whole mystery, and the little code decryptions by Meniko have been somewhat simple, yet clever. Nice to see Karen again, and with the call to Sodachi early on in the episode, I feel like there was definitely a timeline skip somewhere along the way. Maybe it'll get covered in future seasons of this series. I do still wonder who the actual culprit is, because this series can be very unpredictable sometimes with how it handles those sorts of things. |
| Loved how they showed art and covers of the series during the conversation between Shinobu and Araragi. This series does graphic interplay like none other ever has in the medium. Those laughs were so unsettling in a way I cannot put my finger on. |

| Shinobu requests Araragi to pretend to be her slave while she becomes the master. Ok. I didn't think Araragi would mind and he didn't. It's like you're asking one friend to gas you up when you catch up with someone you haven't met in years. In this case centuries. Araragi calls Kanbaru and asks her to be her slave and give him her home. She complies. Because she's Kanbaru. He asks Sodachi to be her slave and cook him food and she rejects it immediately. Because she's Sodachi. But that brief look at Sodachi in maid uniform was great. So, the new code gets cracked immediately. But they bothered to explain how it was cracked anyway which took more time than reaching the conclusion. There better be a good reason for all these codes in this mystery. Also, all of the basketball teammates are innocent. The concept of another highschool student being a vampire would've been cool ngl. Finally, Karen is back! This season is slowly turning into a reunion of old characters. When I started the series I thought certain characters would be absent or there'd be more new characters. Like Deathtopia Virtuoso Suicide-Master. Speaking of her, seems like she's finally awake. The laugh she did alongside Shinobu almost made me feel like I was watching something else. That came outta nowhere. Anyway, can't wait to see her side of the story finally. |

| The last few minutes were so fuckin epic. Goosebumps lol. Literally a "Holy Shit" moment. Also I couldn't help but laugh at how kanbaru instantly agreed to be his slave lmfao. She truly lives up to her name as Araragi's sex slave lol. Mad lad araragi really called oikura and asked her to be his slave lmfao. Loved how they used creative camera angles, irl shots here and there to compensate for their lack of frames. Really catchy. The red alphabets can be arranged to "Araragi". Love how the scene also takes place in a parking area lol. We had a similar scene in Nadeko's Arc. That was also in parking area and had the Parking Area to Araragi Wordplay.   |

| That might be one of the most wholesome reunion scenes in anime, but only with context and lore knowledge! Only gripe with this entire episode it not sharply ending with Suicide-Master's favorite line XD |

| Fall shows may be starting, but we still got some Monogatari for just a bit longer. And like every episode in this arc, we got some interesting new developments once again, which took Araragi and Gaen down a rabbit hole that could have potentially led to one of the members of the girls’ basketball team being the culprit, but it was found out within this same episode that they are all innocent, go figure lol. But despite that lead being a dead end, we did get to see Karen again who is one of my favorite Monogatari babes, her school uniform look was nice but it was quickly back in the signature yellow outfit, still nice to see her again tho. And there was also that short bit where Araragi tried recruiting slaves of his own, Kanbaru quickly agreed but Oikura not so much lol, not sure what Araragi was expecting there, but we at least got that cute shot of Oikura in a maid outfit. Meniko also had a moment this episode where she solved another code, there better be a good reason for these cryptic messages lol, but honestly I could listen to Meniko read the phone book for a whole episode so on second thought, keep ‘em coming. And the last moments of the episode were dedicated to the grand reunion of Shinobu and Suicide-Master, lots of laughing was had, funny how these two are supposed to be super old but both look like lolis lol, but I wonder if having these two vampires meet is a good idea, guess we’ll find out next time. |
| The build up towards Deathtopia's awakening was really worth it. Seeing her and Shinobu share creepy laughter together was pretty awesome. =) Seeing Karen once again was also nice, as was seeing Araragi call up Oikura, although his question to her was rejected. Kanbaru readily agreed to it, as expected, which did make me chuckle. Another nice touch was seeing all of the official visuals on Araragi's phone while he was reminiscing about past events. I always love the attention to detail that Shaft does with scenes like this, along with the camera angles and visuals during the dialogue heavy scenes. Overall, this was another satisfying episode. With their reunion finally here, I do look forward to seeing Shinobu and Deathtopia converse again. |
| Shinobu should have asked me to be her slave, il do it any day of the week. jokes aside this was a okay episode it went by quick but comparing it to the other ones it was a little ordinary. It got what it needed to be done but I wish there was more. I already know next episode will be amazing tho since the reunion after 600 years is finally here. |

It seems I have died yet again. Peak fucking cinema. Holy shit, Araragi is talking to Oikura again. I really really want to see her Off Season arc now man, but we gotta wait. Karen! It's been forever. Also is it just me or does she seem more mature, I mean yes she's a high-schooler now, but I think it's also to drive the point of Tsukihi not being able to change. To continue on the previous sentence, Shinobu and Araragi's talk about Oddities not changing compared to humans, reminded me of Tsukuhi, maybe that's why Tsukihi is still doing Fire Sisters work? Shinobu and Suicide-Master saying they both have aged while in their young forms is hilarious irony lmao. I thought it was cute that Shinobu doesn't want to show Suicide-Master that she's become servant, she wants to be dignified in front of her. I see this is how they greet each other, I honestly don't know what to say, my jaw just dropped from what I was witnessing lmao. I love that they scrolled through all the key visuals from the previous seasons, classic Monogatari. I really cannot guess what's happening with the Basketball Club girls, but I still stand by Kie Harimaze being the source, but knowing Monogatari, we got 2 episodes left, the payoff will be insane. This really made me nostalgic, 4 episodes of buildup now, we're really back. |

| "Kanbaru, be my slave and give me your home" - "Sure." You just have to love these two and their relationship. The episode ends just when it gets good and I even waited to watch ep11 and 12 together, yet Im still caught by the cliffhanger. The laughs were worth it though. I wish I could inject this show straight into my veins. Its pure art. And I probably dont even appreciate half of its genius with the wordplays getting lost in translation usually. |

| Another decent but slightly slower episode but the ending definitely was cool and intense there with laugh-off there, should be quite the reunion after 600 whole years. Cool how all the key visuals were shown here too as memories, attention to detail like that is fairly unique with this franchise as a whole. |

| The mystery thickens and the previous event from the basketball club seems related. We got to see Karen chan. Gaen mentioned Rukawa Kaede groupies, slam dunk reference lol. That last scene with Deathtopia and Shinobu laughing was eerie. |

| Wow, the artistic direction is still at its peak in this episode. Now if it isn't the fan club I don't know what it could be, but it's nice to see Karen back anyway... and Suicide Master has been finally revived |
